Currently, the clock shows five o'clock in the afternoon, West Indonesia time. The sun is clearly more visible yellowing from the terrace of the house. The breeze blew making Widya, Ainun Mama Widya and Steward look familiar and chat on the front porch of Widya's house. The birds look contrasting and clearly fly here and there maybe after they have been foraging for a full day.
Shortly after, a car entered the terrace which was opened by mbok Siti. Steward's heart rate was racing against Papa Widya, he did not know the character of his Papa.
When Mr. Handoko got out of the car, Widya, Ainun Mama Widya and Steward who stood up to welcome the arrival of Widya's Papa, greeted and kissed Widya's Papanya hand.
“Assalamu’alaikum.” Welcome Steward.
“Wa’alaikumsalam.” Answer Mr. Handoko
“Oiya Pa, recognize this Steward friend Widya, his cousin Lira.” Widya broke the mood
“Ooo, hello.” Mr. Handoko replied to Steward.
Widya tried to smile at Steward. And give a boost to Steward.
Azan Maghrib roared, coincidentally near Widya's house there was a mosque, then, Steward asked permission from Ainun Widya's mother to go to the mosque to perform congregational prayers.
“Pa.. tuh see Steward, go to the mosque for congregational prayer, Papa also go to the Mosque,” Said Ainun Mama Widya.
“Alaaah, find her attention with our family Ma, because there is a desire tuh... most also convert pretend.” Mr. Handoko said as he passed towards the room.
An hour later, the reverberation of the azan signifies the entrance of the prayer time, then after Steward returned from the mosque.
“Steward, let's eat first.” Take Mrs Ainun. Mr. Handoko looked cold.
“Good, briefly, I change clothes first,”
After an hour Mr. Handoko, Ainun, Widya and Steward finished their dinner in silence. Later, Steward ventured to start the conversation.
“Sorry Sir, allow me to start the conversation,”
“Please,” Reply Mr. Handoko.
“I intend to apply for Widya as my wife and my life companion,” Steward said with a thumping day.
“What do you want to feed my children, and my grandchildren? I also don't want my son to live abroad." Said Mr. Handoko.
“You already know that Widya already has two children?” Ask Mr. Handoko again continued his words after sipping warm tea in his cup.
“Already Sir,” replied Steward with a distinctive sound of his feathers.
The bule man was seen taking a deep breath before continuing his sentence.
“Because it is also my heart is more coveted to make Widya my wife, because I really like Widya Pak, because Widya already has children, then I also have to love Widya's children, so I also have to love Widya, meaning Widya's children are my children as well, God willing I know what to do if I marry Widya, I not only have to pay attention to Widya but also her two children,” Steward explained.
“What is your job?” Ask Mr. Handoko again
“I milkman, Sir.” Answer Steward honestly.
“Dairy introduction only?” Mr. Handoko was a little surprised.
“You want to feed my family with only a milkman?.” Said Mr. Handoko looking at Steward Remeh.
“But I am sure, God willing I can make Widya and her children happy, Is it not in Islam that every provision of God's creature has its share and will not be changed. Stay how we try to pick him up in a way that God Ridho.” Answer Steward.
“So you want to feed my family with milkman salary?” Ask Mr. Handoko again.
“Yes sir, I am sure that I can make them happy, is not Blessing not from what work? But from the negligence of obtaining it?” Said Steward who instead gave a question to Mr. Handoko.
“You are looking for a good mate, a bright future, handsome, but instead you choose a milkman,” said Mr. Handoko spontaneously without thinking about Steward's feelings.
“Yesterday, Papa was also suspicious. Why suddenly Mr. Pram decided to cancel your match, and Mr. Pram did not explain the reason, Oooo turned out to be the reason,”
“The comparison is too far between him and son Rafa, Wid. You see what the hell is this from him?” Said Mr. Handoko with his sour face.
“But we love each other Pa, Widya is already an adult Pa. Kids need a father figure. Rafa and I have no feelings.” Widya replied while lowering her head. He was ashamed that his father said that to Steward.
“Do you graduate Steward?” Mr. Handoko went back to investigate the man who said he liked his daughter.
“I graduate farm,” Answer Steward briefly.
“Nah, right Wid. Already his job is just a milkman, agricultural graduates too. His future will be what try,” Pak Handoko continues to nag Widya.
“It's Pa. We can help them to make an effort. Let Widya marry Steward. Mama was happy to see Widya happy again after Dika's death. Never mind, it's time for Widya to find and determine a companion according to her choice of heart.” Ainun Mama Widya said to her husband.
“As far as you are,” Mr. Handoko left the room.
Mama Widya smiled at Widya and Steward as she caught up with Mr. Handoko.
“Neither, Mama tried to talk to your Papa ya Wid,” Said Bu Ainun unkindly to his guests who intend well.
“Thank you Ma,” Widya said who also glanced at Steward.
In the middle of the night, Steward woke up, intending to go to the bathroom because his room had no bathroom or toilet. At the same time, Widya went out of the room and went to the prayer room.
“Oo,Wid, would you like to pray?" Ask Steward.
"No, I want to pick up my Quran left in the hall of prayer." Widya. He intentionally said that. He did not want any other creature to know that he was enjoying a great deal in the third of the night performing the tahajud prayer.
Widya quickly left Steward. He knows they are not a halal couple.
Did not feel the dawn of dawn had reverberated, Steward had prepared himself to go to the mosque, in order to be able to perform congregational dawn prayers. After returning home.
Mr. Handoko only noticed Steward's behavior in silence. However, Sarah likes Steward, and agrees that her mother is happy with Steward, her new, Caucasian Papa. Sarah's spirit is like Widya's. However, not with Ridwan who with a sour face saw Steward, when he met Steward yesterday afternoon.
The existence of Steward in Ridwan's eyes like nothing, even Ridwan looked indifferently when greeting and reprimanding Steward to Ridwan.
Ridwan also turned into an unruly and nasehati child. Every day I always go home at night. Often Steward invites Ridwan to chat, but Ridwan ignored. A few days at Widya's residence, Steward got a hotel not far from Widya's parents' residence.
Once, Widya received a call from the school Ridwan, who reported that Ridwan was involved in a fight with his schoolmates, and expected Widya to come to see the principal tomorrow morning.
“Good Sir, I'll come tomorrow morning.”
The next day, in the morning Widya was just going to Ridwan school, but Steward had arrived by taxi online. Finally Widya went to Ridwan school with Steward because the man continued to insist because he heard that Ridwan was fighting. Steward is in the spotlight of the students of the High School where Ridwan is at school, when he and Widya enter the teacher's room, where all the eyes of Ridwan's teachers look at Steward, especially Ridwan's unmarried teacher. They smiled at Steward and put on their pretty faces.
Widya and Steward sat side by side facing the desk of principal Ridwan. Shortly thereafter, the principal Ridwan comes to Widya and Steward and sits in the principal's chair. The headmaster who immediately started the conversation, explained the problem between Ridwan and his school team. Ridwan who has been in the third grade of High School, and has achievements in the field of education and basketball, it is unfortunate if things like this fight happen, he said, because it can prevent Ridwan from entering the university with his scholarship.
“Good, Sir. I will talk to Ridwan later” Widya said.
“Sorry Mom, if you can ask, this is ready bu Widya?”
“Oiya Sir, Sorry to forget to introduce. This Steward just happened to meet when he was coming here." It was the embarrassed Widya.
Steward raises one eyebrow at Widya's confession, but she doesn't want to argue with Widya. Ridwan is now more of a focus.
After shaking hands with the principal, Widya and Steward asked for permission to leave the school.
