The Destiny of Widya's Love

The Destiny of Widya's Love
6 Rafa Judging Widya

The silence happened again for a while.

“You yourself how Wid? I am saddened by the death of your husband. I didn't come to worship at that time. I'm already here.”

“You don't need to apologize, death is indeed a destiny that we can't escape, right? So is every journey of one's life." said Widya

“Ya... You're right." Rafa pondered his story of not getting married.

The silence happened again long enough.

“Yuk.. we go home,” Rafa said seeing from earlier Widya seemed uncomfortable with him too.

“Yuk..” Widya replied quickly in a slow tone.

Rafa and Widya go home on foot, once in a while they talk with standard, silent, bland, monotonous questions and answers. A few days later, Rafa comes to the cafe to buy a warm cup of coffee and a slice of toast for breakfast before leaving for his campus. After paying at the cashier, Rafa chooses a comfortable and cool bench with views in the morning on the outdoor patio.

Widya was walking alone on the side of the road to look for books sold in the street, the main street, lira said books sold in the street are much cheaper than those sold in bookstores. Where there is indeed one place that sells such books in the country.

“Widya.!" Call Rafa while waving your hands.

Widya felt like someone was calling her name and Widya twirled her head left and right to look for the source of the voice calling her name. Look Rafa across the street.

“Hai,” Widya Pun waving back at Rafa.

Widya approached the Cafe where Rafa was sitting, entered from the outside door, ordered a warm cup of coffee and a piece of fragrant toasted bread with a variant that Widya had just tried. Then Widya joins Rafa's table.

“You were looking for what wid?”

“Neither, just look around who knows there is a novel that I like,” Widya replied.

“You like to read novels too, love novels what,?”

“Novel Romans, you also like to read novel books too?”

“Yes, but I prefer the novel book Triller,”

“Wow. You like coming here too Raf?”

“Sometimes” Reply Rafa while sipping his coffee.

“Kalo I often come here with Lira, because the nuance is comfortable, the toast is very typical, I like” Widya said with a sparkling and enthusiastic face.

“Ooo.... Where have you been Wid?” Ask Rafa.

“I've been traveling to the animal kebon Atiz zoo, Museum Body world, Museum Rembrandt house, I've also been to the mosque Alfatih loh, it turns out the mosque was originally a church ya, the mosque, really cool building not changed,” Widya's story on Rafa.

"She is beautiful even though she is a widow. It seems he is still taking care of himself. His personality is also pleasant. But it seems he is also uncomfortable with this match." Inner Rafa.

“ What if we go to a place that you have not visited?” take Rafa

“Bby, but what is not a hassle mr lecturer?” canda Widya tried to jokingly break the mood.

After Rafa and Widya finish their breakfast, not forgetting Rafa calls his office friend, heard by Widya Parkin's name called by Rafa. Rafa speaks Dutch by his interlocutors on the phone.

‘Aready?”

“Yuk ..”

Rafa and Widya get out of the cafe and walk to a windmill in Amsterdam. Rafa looked at the jolly side of Widya. Having met Widya twice, Rafa feels that the widow with two children is an adult.

After a walk to enjoy the windmill, then Rafa and Widya proceed to the next tour, which is to Dam square.

Dam square is a square in Amsrterdam that presents a variety of tourist themes in one area. Starting from the historical place in Amsterdam, hunting typical Amsterdam food, even fairly romantic. In addition, Dam Square also serves European specialties, to typical Amsterdam food.

Without feeling the time has shown at twelve noon, and the sound of azan coming from Widya and Rafa's Smartphone.

“Yuk, I know a cool mosque that you haven't come in”

“What mosque is Raf called?”

“Later you also know”

After Widya arrived at an amazing mosque, by itself Widya immediately looked for where the female-only prayer section and where the abode is.

Widya approaches Rafa.

"It's amazing the beauty of this mosque" Widya said.

"The "Westermoskee is a mosque first built in 2013 and completed in 2015. In Turkish, Westermoskee is called Ayasofya Camii or Hagia Sofia, a church in Istanbul that was converted into a mosque. The mosque has one dome and one minaret and an outer architecture similar to Hagia Sophia. The building area of this mosque is about eight hundred square and can accommodate worshipers up to 1700 worshipers." Obviously Rafa has been like a tour guide for tourists.

Widya nodded her head.

"You come here often?" ask Widya.

"New a few times. I am a Muslim who is not like the converts here." said Rafa honestly.

Widya knitted her brows.

"I mean, sometimes I get confused. I'm a born Muslim, but.... Worship alone feels heavy. Too lazy. But seeing the converts in my neighborhood. They are so eager to undergo prayer five times even Sunnah-Sunnah. Hhh...." Rafa sighed.

He actually feels confused. He did not feel happiness. Though if the eyes that look at him a successful man and certainly happy. He thought that maybe he was lacking in worship.

"Pray, Allah is the One who turns over his servant's heart. Then a guide to diligent worship must also be prayed for and one of the most important. Imposed. Because something good must indeed be half forced. Otherwise it's hard to get Raf's guidance. Oops... Sorry, the lecturer was impressed by patronizing." said Widya embarrassed.

Rafa chuckles at Widya's blushing face.

"It's okay. You have a point. I was too relaxed, comfortable with myself. I don't need God." Rafa complained about his heart.

"Therefore if prayer becomes a need then we will worry when not immediately do it. Being forced to start being a necessity is just like eating. Hungry not hungry we have to keep eating at mealtime because if not, our stomach will have problems."Widya said again.

Rafa looked at Widya. He felt there was calm talking with Widya at their meeting today. Widya also invited Rafa home because she realized the man was looking at her.
