56. Snake Child
Eriko continued to let out a long sigh while looking at her son who was lying on the hospital bed in a very sad state. A broken collarbone and bones in both of his middle fingers until they pop out. Eriko could not understand who exactly the person who had the heart to harm Regent to such an extent. Really looking for trouble with him. Huh.
“Daddy, have you found anyone who attacked me?” ask Regent slowly. He then sighed softly as he looked at his father who was standing next to the bed. “Dad found them, didn't he?”
“Regent, this accident is not your design only ‘kan?” eriko asked back. “When Dad asked people to investigate, they said there was no trace left. And the police said you had a single accident, not another car attack. Try telling Dad the details so that Dad does not get dizzy in taking action!”
“So Dad doesn't trust me?”
Regent swearing. “Dad see my condition now. My situation has gotten this bad but why do you even doubt me? I'm Regent, Dad. A smart person like me is it possible to self-harm for no apparent reason? This accident was a pure assault. I have to find the culprit!”
“Dad doesn't trust you, Regent. I'm just dizzy thinking about the reason why that guy could attack you like this. From what I know the company is only sabotaging Biotechnology projects in CL Group companies only, and even then not found any movement from the company with the aim to repay us. But why are you being fucked like this? Dad's dizzy, Regent. Nor can accusation not be origin Dad do. It can be fatal later if we get it wrong to offend people. You know it's ‘kan?’ sahut Eriko while stomping on the edge of his head. He then muttered. “Why can this person not leave any traces at all huh? Weird.”
Seeing the father's despair made Regent feel very upset. Had it not been too severe, Regent would have intervened on his own to find the culprit. He was really so vengeful towards them. They may attack when Regent is unprepared. A coward, isn't he?
Goddamn bum. Just hang. After I get out of the hospital, I will immediately contact all my acquaintances to find out who you are and who the person who has ordered you to attack me. How dare you harm a Regent Lin. Are you tired of living, huh?
Just as Regent and his father were busy with their respective thoughts, someone suddenly knocked on the door of the room. Eriko then allowed him to enter.
“Good afternoon Mr. Eriko, Mr. Regent,” greet a nurse who came while carrying a bouquet of flowers in his hand. “Master, someone left this bouquet to give to Mr. Regent. The man also advised Mr. Regent to be careful of anyone who comes to visit him today.”
“Who is that person?” ask Regent be on guard.
“I don't know, Sir. The guy was dressed like a thug and when I asked him who, the guy just left,” replied the nurse honestly.
Hearing the nurse's reply, Regent asked the father to take the bouquet. He was sure that there must be a greeting card in it for him.
“Then excuse me, Sir. And ... hopefully soon to recover,” said the nurse immediately left after the bouquet of flowers was taken.
And when the nurse bent her body, for some reason Eriko's nape suddenly brushed when she accidentally saw a strange smile on the nurse's lips. Unwilling to think things through, Eriko immediately gave the bouquet to Regent. Afterwards Eriko chose to sit on the sofa while continuing to rub the nape of her back that is still bristling.
“Why did the nurse's smile look a little horrible huh? It was a real sight or because I was dizzy thinking about the perpetrator who attacked Regent, so I became a little paranoid. Ah, let it be. She's just a nurse anyway. There's no way she's a nurse in disguise,” murmured Eriko wondered to herself. But a second later, Eriko suddenly realized that there was one truth that was accidentally spoken out from inside her mouth. The nurse ….
“REGENT, QUICKLY DISPOSE OF THAT FLOWER. THE FLOWERS ARE POISONOUS!!”
Regent who was trying to find a congratulatory card from inside a bouquet of flowers immediately dropped it on the floor as soon as he heard the voice of his father's screams. Confused by what happened, Regent immediately asked the father who was standing next to him. “Dad, what's up. Why do you say that this bouquet of flowers is poison?”
“Jeez, Regent. You're stupid or something! Did you forget what the nurse said that you had to be careful of everyone who came to visit you today? And just before the nurse came out of this room, I accidentally saw her smiling strangely. She must have wanted to harm you through this flower!” eriko replied with a furious rage.
“Father will make sure whether in this bouquet of flowers there is poison or not.”
Eriko quickly brought the bouquet into the bathroom and grabbed the shower. While closing her nose, Eriko sprayed her firmly into the bouquet to ascertain whether there was a deadly poison inside. At first Eriko thought that what would come out from inside there was some kind of poisonous liquid or powder. But what Eriko saw made him immediately throw the shower and close the bathroom door as much as possible.
“Sial!’ sally with loud.
“How, Father? Is there really poison in that bouquet?” cecar Regent is agitated. He was eager to turn his head towards the bathroom, but he could not do so because his neck hurt so much. Regent can only wait for his father to speak.
Before answering Regent's question, Eriko contacted his men first. He then ordered them all to arrest the nurse who had just come out of the room. After that, Eriko walked over to Regent while continuing to rub her face violently.
“Daddy, what happened?” ask Regent again.
“Regent, now I'm absolutely convinced that the accident you've been in is not a single accident at all. And the nurse who delivered you a bouquet of flowers was one of their plotters,” replied Eriko with a dead red face. “You know not what came out of that bouquet after Dad sprayed water into it?”
“A-what?”
“Snake boy. And they are very venomous.”
Wh-what? Snake boy? Jesus, what the fuck?
“Luckily Dad immediately realized that the nurse was a criminal in disguise. Otherwise, you would have died being bitten by the children of the snake,” continued Eriko while growling furiously. “K*parat, who exactly are they. How dare they want to hurt you while you're here. Search dead!”
Feeling threatened, Regent finally asks her father to move her to a much safer hospital. The condition is not possible to fight if the people return to attack later, so moving from this place is the best solution. Not to forget also Regent asked the father to put a lot of guards in front of the nursery room. He was worried that the person would come back and disguise as a nurse again.
Outside the hospital building, a nurse was walking to the car park. Choosing the right position, the nurse suddenly tore her face which turned out to be a fake face. Shortly after that a luxury car stopped in front of him and a man came out from inside.
“Mr Jove, are you okay?” ask Franklin worriedly. He watched carefully the state of his boss who had just disguised himself as a nurse just for the sake of being able to visit Regent Lin. Very friendly idea, right?
“With such a flaw do you think Regent can attack me?” ask Jove back. “Come home. I need a break after dealing with fools like them”
“Good, Mr.”
Franklin opens the car door to his boss. After that he followed in and immediately contacted his men before driving forward to leave the hospital parking lot. “Remove all cctv recordings passed by Mr. Jove. Now!”
