The Dreamers

The Dreamers
Reborn

If only Hiro had not decided to withdraw from the academy at that time, he might still be fine until now. If only Hiro still survives in the academy, his name will certainly be displayed as a legend like Daichi before.

But now is not the time to dream. Hiro must quickly find his spirit back. Otherwise, Takashi wouldn't want to coach Hiro who doesn't have the passion to play ball.

On the weekend, Hiro was enjoying his peaceful morning with coffee while watching television. In the television show that Hiro saw it was reporting about the Japanese national football team.

“From celebrities, we switch to sports. The Japanese football federation has released the names of players who will follow the Asian cup this year.

“Oh, news about football? I'm curious,” Hiro is paying more attention to every name shown on television.

“Viewers.., among these names, there is a name that surprises the public, namely the call of a young player aged 20 years, namely Daichi Furuoka.”

“Hah?Whahuh? D—Daichi?!” Hiro was surprised to drop his coffee glass.

Not wrong anymore. Daichi Furuoka, a rival of Hiro while still in the academy, has now become part of the Japanese national team.

“I can't believe this! he could have been up there while I was still here! This can't be allowed! I have to tell Ryota,”

Hiro rushes to Ryota's house. But just now Hiro wanted to open the door of his house, suddenly from the outside there was already someone who opened it. “Hiro!!” Ryota opened the door.

“Ryota!” Hiro's eyes were wide.

“Hiro! Have you seen the news on television?!”

“Of course!! I just wanted to tell you,”

Unknowingly, the two of them started to talk about something about Daichi. Especially Hiro, he was one of the ones who hated Daichi the most. But not because of his ugliness but rather Hiro was annoyed because he could not surpass Daichi's achievements at all until now.

“Hahaha! Why are we talking about Daichi like this? hahah!” Ryota laughed by himself.

“Eh? Right too, huh? Why are we doing this? just like women, right? Hehe,” Hiro also noticed it.

Hiro and Ryota then get carried away and change the subject in the direction it should be. “Already, haha, we better talk about something else,”

While sitting on the wooden chair in front of Hiro's house, the two of them together thought of something similar. “Ryota? Do you think I can get my spirit back?” Ask Hiro.

“What are you talking about? You just got your spirit back, didn't you?”

“Just get some spirit? What do you mean?”

Ryota then pulled the phone out of his pants pocket and started looking for something on the internet.

“What are you looking for?” Ask Hiro. His eyes glanced at Ryota's mobile screen.

“This is the one I'm looking for,”

Ryota showed Hiro the news about the Japanese national team. In it is a list of the names of the called players. Of course there was Daichi's name there and Hiro was irritated.

“Why are you showing me this? I know I don't like it, right?” Hiro keeps Ryota's phone out of his sight.

“Hehe, that's what I mean Hiro, that's your spirit!”

“What do you mean?” Hiro is still unconscious.

The chirping of birds accompanied Hiro to realize a thing that should have been embedded in Hiro's heart.

“Daichi! He is your spirit!” Ryota. “After knowing he was called the Japanese national team, you became envious, right? You must also think that you should be able to too, right?”

“Eh! Aye! Right!” Hiro is conscious.

“That is what is called spirit,” Ryota said. "The spirit does not come from outside, but from within you,"

“Of course.., that was your old self!”

“So, do you think.., now I can meet Takashi again?”

“Of course! meet Takashi! And tell him your spirit!”

“Alright! I'll be there soon!”

Without warning, Hiro immediately ran barefoot towards the Zekka academy which was 5 km away.

“Hey! Oye! Hiro! Where are you going?! Why suddenly running!” Ryota did not understand what Hiro was doing and where he was going to run.

The warm rays of the morning sun accompanied along Hiro's path towards the academy. Hiro had never felt this excited since he had gotten the football boots from Ryota back then.

His spirit has returned. Or you could say, have remembered. Hiro and Daichi are rivals trying to take each other down. But that doesn't mean it's bad competition. This kind of competition is what Hiro needs. It's a tough competition.

When he reached the front gate of the academy, Hiro's entire shirt was already soaked in sweat. His feet flank because he ran 5 km barefoot.

Hiro saw that the academy gate was still closed. Hiro forgot that in the morning the academy was still not open. “Hahaha! I forgot!” Hiro laughed out of his own stupidity while repeatedly taking a deep breath to fill his lungs with fresh air.

“Alright, I'll just go home,” muttered Hiro. Hiro was ready to walk back to his house barefoot.

But before Hiro left the academy gate, there was the voice of someone that Hiro was familiar with. “No, you can't go home,”

Hiro looked around looking for the origin of the voice. “Who is it?”

From the corner of the gate, the academy, walked a man in a hat. Both hands he put in his pants pocket. The man walked over to Hiro. “Hiro? I've been waiting for you,”

“Coach!”

Yes, that man is Takashi. He smiled when Hiro came. “What made you come here? Did you forget that the academy is still closed?”

“I'm sorry. I'm just too excited to forget it's morning, hehe,”

“What makes you so excited?”

“What makes me so excited? Of course because of football!”

Takashi laughed with Hiro that morning. The quiet atmosphere made only their voices heard and echoed.

“It seems you've found your spirit again son. Tell me, what's your spirit?” Ask Takashi.

“My spirit? Want to be better than Daichi!!” Hiro shouting.

“Hahaha, that's the new Hiro I know,”

“Emm, then, can we start training?” Ask Hiro.

“Of course! later this afternoon go straight to the empty field at the end of the road! How?”

“Oh! Alright coach!”

That same afternoon, Hiro and Takashi trained privately in an empty field. Takashi continues to train Hiro tirelessly. Takashi was already convinced that the spirit of the boy would continue to burn forever.

“Come Hiro! Don't surrender! Don't give up until you beat Daichi!”

“Iya!!” Hiro's spirit was always burning at this moment, and it would continue to smolder like an eternal flame in the middle of the snow desert surrounding it. Takehiro Miyoko, will be reborn soon.
