Every day after Hiro gets to know Izumi. He was always asked about the same thing. "Can I be your girlfriend?"

Hiro did not answer that question. He just wants to focus on football. Hiro does not want anyone to disturb his focus when playing on the green field. But the woman did not give up. He kept chasing after Hiro.

Until one day, when Hiro was practicing football with Ryota and his colleagues on the university team, Izumi recklessly did this.

"HIROO!! I LIKE YOU!!"

Izumi's voice was heard loudly through the loudspeakers.

Hiro is so embarrassed. "Oh, he is again," Hiro said inwardly.

Hiro's friends in the field laughed at the sound. Luckily, the campus is currently quiet, so not many people know.

"Hahaha, you know Hiro? I feel like this is getting sadder. What if you give him a chance?" Ryota offers the solution.

"Ah don't want to," Hiro insisted. "If I hadn't thanked him, none of this would have happened."

"Ah, come on, Hiro, don't regret it, but I'm surprised.., why don't you want to date her? I think she's beautiful, she's nice too. He was the one who saved your life, remember?"

"I-Yes, but..,"

"But moreover? never mind.., don't you pity to see it?"

"It's a pity for sure, I don't want to see women grieving, but I don't want my focus to split in two because of dating."

"Hmm, your statement makes sense," Ryota was thinking of the right solution.

"Know what?" Ask Hiro.

"We're going to be in the UFF tournament soon, right?"

"Yes, why?"

"Well," Ryota approached Hiro's ear and began to whisper, "You just tell Izumi that if she wants to be your girlfriend, then she should be willing to support the Sapporo University team when competing at the UFF tomorrow. If we can win, Izumi can be your girlfriend, but if we lose, then the opposite, how?"

"Hmm..," Hiro considered it. "So you mean, this is a way to resist indirectly?"

"That's right!"

The UFF tournament is the largest football tournament in Japan that brings together all University clubs in Japan for one cup.

Unfortunately, in this Tournament, Sapporo University is in a difficult group. They have to face tough teams who are experienced.

That was why Ryota was convinced that the Sapporo University team would not be champions and Hiro could be separated from Izumi who continued to pursue him.

"Alright, I'll tell Izumi right now,"

Hiro rushes to see Izumi at the campus park after he calls Izumi earlier.

At the park, Hiro greeted Izumi who was sitting relaxing. "Izumi!"

"Eh Hiro!" Izumi realizes Hiro's arrival. "What's up here? shouldn't you be training?"

"Yes, I was training, but I just heard your voice from the loudspeaker."

Izumi happy. "Well! you realized?!"

"Yes, I'm here to answer what you said from the speaker earlier,"

"Eh.., Hiro..?"

Hiro began to approach Izumi's ears and whispered, "I, too. like you,"

Immediately Izumi's face became a dead red. "Ee.., H-Hiro.., do you.b- really like my a-I?"

"of course. You are my savior.., I feel comfortable near you," Hiro looked at Izumi's eyes. "From now on, let me protect you,"

"A..Ah. could be,"

Everything Hiro said was a lie.

"But.., I have one request of you,"

"What request?" Ask Izumi.

"Starting next Sunday, our University will take part in a major football tournament that will be participated by all of Japan. Will you accompany me during the tournament?"

"Hmm.., yes! sure am! I'll be a supporter for you!" Izumi excited.

"But.., there's a tap," Hiro said.

"If we lose that tournament, I won't continue with you. But if we win, our relationship will continue. How's it?" This is what Hiro's plan is.

"Eee..," Izumi was confused.

"You can give up now if you want to" said Hiro.

"No! I don't want to give up! I should try, right? hehe," Izumi said with her innocent laugh.

"All right," Hiro said. "Till next week at the tournament! I hope to see you there!" Hiro said as he waved at Izumi.

Along the way back towards the field, Hiro did not stop laughing amusedly at Izumi's decision.

"Hihihi.., Izumi's base. How could we possibly win that tournament? ahaha!" In Hiro's heart.

One week has passed. It is time for Hiro, Ryota and his teammates to fight on the green field.

This UFF tournament was the first to be followed by Hiro. The level of difficulty is no joke. Most of the players who play in these tournaments are professional and experienced players but are still students.

In the first match, Sapporo University must face the defending champion of the tournament, the University of Tokyo.

Hiro is ready to lose. But he heard Izumi's voice from the audience bench.

"Spirit Hiro!! you can do it...!" Shouted Izumi.

Hiro who saw Izumi in the audience bench, immediately clenched his hands into the air, a sign that he would also struggle hard.

The game begins, Sapporo University continues to be suppressed by Tokyo. Sapporo has no chance. Hiro could not even move in the opponent's defense.

Until the end, the first half score ended with a 2-0 lead for Tokyo. All Sapporo supporters are beginning to realize that the team they support is unlikely to win.

But there is one who is still sure of that. Who else if not Izumi. "Come Sapporo!! there's still a second round! you can do it!!!"

Hiro, Ryota, and his teammates who heard Izumi's yell became slightly calmer. Although still, they consider Izumi as a supporter of 'crazy'.

In the second half, Sapporo played better than the first half. In fact they managed to score a goal against Tokyo until the score changed to 2-1.

Unfortunately the position did not change, and Sapporo still lost.

"Ouch..Tokyo is tough huh..," Hiro said. "It's not wrong they are the defending champions,"

In the second match, Sapporo will have to play against Osaka. Osaka is one of the favourites in this tournament. Hiro is preparing to lose.

Yet he still saw Izumi excited on the bleachers. Keep shouting encouraging even though the sun is so hot this afternoon.

Izumi gave her fist to Hiro, as a sign that Hiro would try harder.

"Izumi..," muttered Hiro.

"Is he really trying to be my girlfriend?" Thought Hiro.

Hiro replies to Izumi's fist and convinces himself. "I'll try!"

Priit!!

The match has begun. Both teams play in balance. No goals were scored until the first half was over. The score is still 0-0.

Sapporo's performance was so improved on appeal when playing against Tokyo before.

"Come guys! we can definitely do this! we can win!" Hiro gave me spirit.

Ryota who heard Hiro excited, became confused. Did Hiro actually forget his plan? "Hey Hiro! are you sure you won?"

"Yes! i'm sure! For the sake of Sapporo University, we must keep trying!"

"Yoo!!" Shouted other colleagues.

"Haduhh..," muttered Ryota. It seems that Hiro had forgotten the original plan.

Hiro will continue to fight for his University and the pride of his friends. Being a champion in the UFF Tournament will probably be a pride for Hiro. But he must not forget his agreement with Izumi.
