The night felt very quiet, accompanied by a night wind that blows indeterminate directions. Currently, the weather temperature dropped drastically to reach 0° Celsius.
This causes everyone to be lazy to roam outside the house, and prefer to warm up in front of the campfire, sleep with a layer of blankets that mount, or maybe…
Forgetit.
Unlike the others, right now, in such a quiet place there was a young man walking down the sidewalk with a thick coat lining his body.
The young man was named Arvin Faresta, a young man who was less than twenty years old and is now living a life as a student and part-time worker in a minimarket.
Usually Arvin will have difficulty dividing time between work and school. But, because he is currently enjoying the holidays given by the school, Arvin can be a little relaxed and focused on his work without being disturbed by other thoughts.
Arvin himself is a grateful child who can still occupy the inheritance from his late mother. But on the other hand, Arvin has difficulty finding money, just in case his mother's savings money will run out.
"Huh, it's cold." Arvin complained while rubbing both arms.
At this time, Arvin's mouth can be seen that always emit smoke in every breath. That signifies how cold the weather is in the area.
"The weather is not as usual. Even in winter, it usually won't be this cold. Is this a sign that the Arctic ice is melting due to global warming? Haha, no way." He makes jokes to entertain himself.
However, when Arvin was busy by noticing the slightly dark path, suddenly there was a small object that shot quickly to his cheek.
Arvin who did not have time to avoid had to be a landing for the object. However, what surprised him was the fact that the object was so cold, that it caused Arvin to spontaneously sweep it to fly in the other direction.
"God! For a moment I thought I was being attacked by the North Pole for making them the object of a joke. But, what the hell just now? Why does it feel so cold, and it looks like something I know…"
Curious, Arvin tries to find the small object with a view that is slightly blinded by imperfect lighting.
"Come on, come on, I've been kecelet kecing..don't make me pee in my pants right now!" Complain, but still do the search while crawling like a baby.
It took a few minutes until Arvin finally managed to find the object. "Finally, you fuck!"
Without further ado, Arvin immediately took her to a brighter place to see her clearly. However, when he managed to see the object, Arvin's hand immediately shook violently, his face paled, his fingers like freezing—
"Damn! How come he can be this cold to the point of making my hand become like ice!" Upset Arvin then raised the object high.
"If you look at it clearly, it's not the object I imagined. But, more like a fairy? But, is that possible?" Arvin murmured trying to research it deeper.
However, something happened that made him back surprised, even he could be said to be aghast when he saw the fairy move like a living creature.
"W-what!?" Shouted Arvin unconsciously.
His shout sounded very shrill and echoed along the way, thus making himself get a reprimand from some people who were annoyed by it.
"Hey! Who's it!? Please don't scream at night! My son is sleeping well!"
"Whispering woy!"
"A shit! Don't yell, my internet got in trouble because of you!"
Hearing all the complaints, Arvin was embarrassed and annoyed with the last complaint.
"I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry!" He apologized, "What the hell, why the Internet is problematic even I was affected!?" His regret in silence.
After making sure everything was silent, Arvin decided to go home and put the fairy into the bag of his coat, while Arvin occasionally tried to warm the body of the fairy using a rub of his hand.
The journey home was normal, no problem at all, and slowly Arvin's body began to adapt to the current temperature. So, when he got home, he immediately opened his coat and went to the kitchen to brew his favorite ginger milk.
"I was curious enough, was it just my hallucination, or maybe he was really moving?" Arvin muttered in confusion while trying to lightly touch the fairy's body.
"Hei~, please be aware.." Arvin said in a soft voice like a father to his beloved daughter.
Not getting the slightest response, Arvin began to turn his attention to the cellphone in the hope that the fairy could be conscious by itself.
While busy playing social media, Arvin suddenly remembered something that made him go to his mother's room to pick up a thin piece of cloth.
"With such a small body, then a cloth like this might be able to help warm his body.." Arvin said then put the cloth on the fairy's body.
After that, Arvin returned to focus on playing on his cellphone while occasionally drinking his ginger milk. Until a while later, there was movement from the fairy who managed to resuscitate Arvin from his focus.
"Did he just move? Hey, please wake up, great fairy~"
Unlike before, now Arvin gets a response in the form of a limp sound. It sounds more like the sound of someone just waking up. However, this is more than enough to answer Arvin's curiosity.
"He's really alive!" Right now, Arvin looked extremely excited while waiting for the fairy consciousness to return completely.
"Emm... emm... Where am I…?" The fairy muttered low.
The fairy tried to circulate her gaze, looked around carefully and tried to remember. However, his gaze was locked when he saw an ordinary young man looking at him like a child.
"... T-lord?" Ask the fairy hesitating.
Hearing that, Arvin just smiled gently, then waved a small towards the fairy. "I'm not your master, I just happened to save you from the cold." Obviously not intending to lie.
"Ah, yes. Where might the master still be alive." The elf looked gloomy with a sad expression attached to her tiny face.
Arvin smiled faintly when he saw her, for some reason he felt something warm inside him when he saw the fairy. However, ignoring that, Arvin stuck out his index finger and said:
"Hey, how about we be friends? My name is Arvin Faresta, are you?" Bring soft.
Hearing something as sudden as that, the elf could only be stunned without knowing how to act. But feeling bad, the elf received Arvin's index finger, then shook it several times.
"I don't know what to answer, but I don't have a name. Greetings know Arvin.." Reply The fairy felt awkward.
"Eh? You really don't have a name?" Arvin asked confusedly, feeling disbelief, but the fairy's expression made his doubts dispel.
"Hmmm, if it's like that, what if I just give you a name? Do you mind?" Arvin's proposal is serious.
For a moment the elf pondered seriously, she did not want to disappoint Arvin's spirit, but on the other hand she did not trust him too much either.
"Aren't you going?" Arvin asked when he saw the doubt on the fairy's face. "But it doesn't matter, you don't push yourself too hard to do it for me." Arvin continued with a smile.
Seeing her over-excellent reaction made the elf's doubts start to falter. 'She doesn't look like a bad person, it doesn't matter if I accept her offer. But does it really not matter? Although he looks like a master, but obviously they are different people...' The inner fairy was worried.
After pondering for a moment, the elf nodded which made Arvin instantly happy. "Do you accept it!?"
The elf nodded a second time at her answer to Arvin's question.
"Thank you fairy. All right, I'll give you a name— soon" Before Arvin finishes his words, the fairy quickly cuts.
"Wait first! I want to explain some of the situations that might happen when you give me a name!!" Firmly elf with a serious expression.
Arvin who heard that immediately went back to silence, "Sure, what is it?"
