The Enchantment of the System Owner

The Enchantment of the System Owner
Chapters:40

"Rena.." Arvin lifted his head, looking at Rena who looked puzzled with disheveled hair. Seeing him caused a violent blow to his heart.

Arvin slowly raised his hand, about to touch Rena's cheek. But, before doing that, he saw the look on Rena's face that changed instantly, his eyes widened while looking at the back of Arvin's body to make him immediately turn and see if there is a man running while preparing to hit Arvin's head with a stick.

"... Watch Arvin!!" Shouted Rena trying to push Arvin's body, but calmly Arvin caught the stick while staring coldly at the figure in front of him.

"What are you doing, asshole?" His voice sounded so intimidating, but what shocked them was not that, but his actions that quickly resisted the man's attack.

"W-what!" The man returned from his shock, seeing Arvin's hand still firmly clutching the tip of his wand, trying to be knocked down, but it was free.

Feeling very disturbed, Arvin threw his enemy's body to float a few meters to the side. Now, Arvin begins to feel uncomfortable with his always kind and generous smile. With a dark aura like seeping out of his body, Arvin looked at everyone who was there with his sharp gaze.

Although the outer appearance was so scary, but in his mind he kept asking about the previous situation. 'What does all this mean? Why did I feel like time was slowing down so I could easily withstand the attack? What the hell happened to me?'

Has not had time to get an answer that can give peace to him, Arvin is required to be on standby again because there are still many who try to subvert it.

But the number is not too troublesome Arvin, with an expression that still holds many questions, Arvin floated an attack with his bare hands to make some people crash like a hair blown by the wind.

All that happened so quickly, even Herman had to be silent in place while looking at Arvin's movements that seemed to have no burden at all. He who had finished subverting all his enemies, now seemed to be putting his concentration on the fight.

'How can his movements be trained in just a few days? Did it happen because of that woman? Hm.. an interesting child.' Inner Herman continued to murmur over his question.

"Are you going home soon?" Herman asked Arvin who was holding Rena who had run out of energy due to a previous mental attack.

Hearing him, Arvin stopped his steps, turning to Herman who was standing firmly beside him. "No, now I'm taking Rena to the hospital. Why why?" Said Arvin while glancing towards Rena who seemed to be closing her eyes trying to calm down.

"That's it, huh? Well, wouldn't you refuse if I gave you an escort?" Herman hesitated a little. Since the previous fight, he had increasingly paid respect to the young man in front of him, thus making himself a little hesitant.

Without being told, Arvin had managed to see the doubt implied on Herman's face. Calmly Arvin said, "Controlling? I don't need that." He said to make Herman a little surprised, he lowered his head a sign that he was a little disappointed.

"Alright if sepe—" The sentence should stop when hearing the continuation of Arvin's previous words.

"I don't need an escort, because you also have to follow me so that the wounds you have can heal soon. Take it easy, I'll pay for all the medical expenses." It left everyone there shocked when they heard it, including Herman who had now returned to his previous position.

"Is that really it, sir…?" Ask one of Herman's friends to Arvin.

"Of course, so hurry up, I don't want to waste any more time. And to you Herman, I wanted to thank you earlier, but for now I want to say one more request to you…"

Herman carefully listened to Arvin's request which left him a little surprised. But then he put on a faint smile and nodded before bringing along some of his friends who were fine to fulfill Arvin's request.

For his own bike, he asked Herman to bring it to Arvin after all his work was done. While at this time, Herman was still inside the place while tying one by one the men who had previously been his enemies and Arvin.

"It is a pity that you should raise the monster within that young man and now you will be a stepping stone for him." murmured Herman with a word that is difficult to understand.

Now, in a room dominated by white, Arvin was staring softly at Rena who was sleeping in her dreams after struggling with the previous bad situation.

Arvin who felt very guilty, could only take care of Rena with all his heart, although the feeling of guilt was not necessarily able to end. Even so, she would try her best to make Rena recover, but before that she had to do something for now.

"I'm sure his parents would be worried about his condition, even if they were out of town. But I can't let it all go like it didn't happen. I had to call her parents to take care of Rena while I was going to finish other business.." muttered Arvin, then took Rena's phone and opened her password which she was lucky to know.

"Huff.. I have to thank him for telling me his password" Arvin glanced at Rena, then looked back at her phone while writing her father's phone number.

After everything was done, Arvin pensively stared at his phone, worried that something would happen afterwards if he had to inform Rena's parents. But, she also could not run from her responsibilities after having Rena return to such a state.

"There's nothing I should be afraid of, it's all for his good. After all, I've had this experience before.." After that, Arvin immediately pressed the green button on his phone until a while later a heavy sound came out of his phone.

(Hello, who is this?)

Just hearing it already gave Arvin goosebumps, and suddenly his mind showed a memory of his past that was being scolded by Rena's father. However, with a strong determination, Arvin directly stuck his phone in his ear.

"Good night, um." said Arvin who tried to stay calm.

(Yes, good night too. Before, who was this with and what was the need for me?)

Hearing him, Arvin instantly fell silent for a moment, fear re-emerging within him. But then, he regained his determination and immediately answered him in a low voice.

"Sorry om, I'm Arvin Faresta, a friend of the child's son when he first. Here I ing—" Previously finished his sentence, Arvin immediately distanced his phone while pressing the volume button to lower the sound that came out.

"God, he's getting scarier.." muttered Arvin with his disheveled face.
