The End of the Wing Miss

The End of the Wing Miss
Brother Kei Isn't That Bad, Mama?

"Darling, Mama doesn't allow you to do that! Nah! Mama won't let you!"

Mrs Sri Latifah looked at the daughter-in-law with an illegible look. The middle-aged woman shook her head many times to express her disapproval at Naya's request.

"Mama, please? Nay will take care of himself. Nay be careful, Mama. We have no other way now. If we don't take chances, we won't know where Brother Kei is?! So, please Mama... Allow me to go?!"

Naya looked at the in-laws with hope. A call from Azki just gave him hope to find out where Kei is now.

"Honey, you don't believe Mama with Papa can find Kei?!"

Mrs Sri Latifah expressed her views and tone of protest at Naya.

"No, Mama! Not like that! Nay means..." Naya blinked her eyes, the girl was at a loss for words to explain her point.

"Mama, Naya doesn't mean anything, huh!" Tan Sri Abdul Hamid who had been listening to the wife's debate with the son-in-law finally raised his voice.

"Mama, Naya knows Azki much better than all of us here" Tan Sri said as she glanced at Naya. He looked back at his wife, trying to convince her.

"So we allow Naya to..."

"No, Papa! We can't do that! How could Papa endanger Naya by allowing her to meet the gang of kidnappers?!"

Mrs Sri Latifah looked at her husband with a look of disbelief. The middle-aged woman still could not justify the words of her husband.

How could he possibly let his son-in-law stand in the way of such risks. Puan Sri knows for sure, not only Azki and Nadia are playing now. There were other hands that also took part, although he could not confirm who they were.

A moment of silence surrounded the room. Naya was still silent in her seat, while Puan Sri was still struck by concerns between giving permission or not to the son-in-law.

But the atmosphere of silence did not last long until several tones of calls from the devices of the owners sounded simultaneously break the silence.

Ms. Sri Latifah, Tan Sri Abdul Hamid and a man who had just been silent, both raised the call on their devices.

Afifah and Naya just stared in silence as they watched the three people move slightly away to answer their calls.

"Nay, Brother Ifah does not want to interfere too far in your personal affairs, but you know if Azki likes you? Even from a long time ago?" Afifah deliberately lowered his voice and asked carefully in order to keep the feelings of his sister-in-law.

For a moment Naya fell silent. It looks like the girl sighed a little longer while exhaling back slowly.

"Yes. Nay knew, sis, "he replied in a low and low voice.

"That guy ever declares it to Nay, does he?" Afifah asked still in a cautious tone.

"Yes, he did. About two years ago." Naya still replied in a low tone.

"And... Answer Nay?" Afifah still pursues with his follow-up questions.

"I mean Brother Fah?" Naya narrowed her eyes with slightly furrowed brows.

"Mh... Don't mean a thing. But..."

"Sister Fah wasn't accusing Nay of answering 'yes', was he?" Naya stared with a slightly probing look.

"If Nay answers 'yes', Fah will support Nay. Let me know the taste of Kei degil tuh. Let him know when a man isn't just him. H.ha.ha." Afifah chuckled to himself with his original sentence.

Naya widened her eyes to hear the statement of Afifah, the brother-in-law.

"Is it Ifah?!" Naya still rubbed her eyes.

"Yes?! Ha.ha... Peace out! Joking je! But if Fah looks at it, Azki is handsome too. You're not impressed, though a little? H.ha..ha..."

What's?! Naya got up from her seat while floating a light pinch on the young mother-to-be's arm in front of her. How could Afifa possibly tease him in such a way?

Afifah was still laughing while trying to avoid the pinch from Naya, when he heard a few footsteps that came back closer. Both of them immediately sat neatly in their respective seats while occasionally still throwing views at each other.

"We already know where they are. Our people are heading there. You two stay here. Mama with Papa will catch up with them." Puan Sri said as she looked at Naya and Afifah in turn.

"But, Mama?"

Naya lowered her gaze. There was a clear circle that began to scorch the corner of his eye. It's not really what, it's just that the girl felt the need to take part in this mission. He believes that Azki's statements in the phone call were not just a threat. That man could have done something bad.

Over the four years they were close as friends, little did Naya know how the male character was. Like a river, Azki is like a Mississippi river. It looks calm on the surface, yet has a swift and strong current underneath.

Naya had witnessed for herself how Azki had dealt with the Paris police force, when the man injured a street man who harassed Naya with his racist words. Unmitigated, Azki tore the man's mouth in front of him. Incident which makes Azki then had occupied the hotel prodeo for twenty-four hours. Naya does not know for sure how the man finally got free the next day.

"Mama, not Nay to argue with Mama. But this time, please... Let Nay come along." Naya got up from her seat, approached the in-laws and dropped her body.

Naya was on the floor. Both of his hands held firmly the feet of the in-laws.

Ms. Sri Latifah gasped, not ready to anticipate the movement of the daughter-in-law who had been resting at her feet.

"Darling?! What are you doing?! You don't need to do that!" Puan Sri screamed stifled while also shedding his body and clutching strongly Naya's body.

"Darling, what's Nay doing?" He said as he gently rubbed the daughter-in-law's back.

"Mama, please allow Nay this time. Nay wants to meet Kei's brother. Nay doesn't want to lose anymore, Mama. Nay has lost Father, Mother and brother Ken. Nay doesn't want to lose Kei's brother either. Please, Mama, allow Nay," he whispered softly.

Puan Sri felt her heart thumping fast hearing Naya's shrill statement. It was just a whisper, and he was sure that only the two of them heard it clearly.

Puan Sri looked at the son-in-law in silence. Deep and fixed look. Five years ago, they felt the pain of losing a loved one.

If Puan Sri and her family lost Ken Hasan, the beloved son, then Naya lost both parents. Even at the same time the girl also lost Ken, the fiancee. Three people! Lost three loved ones at the same time!

Ms. Sri closed her eyes tightly, trying to unravel the tightness that was pressing on her chest.

"Darling, I'm sorry Mama. Pardon Mama and all of us who have confined Nay in a circle of thorny problems" whispered Puan Sri no less softly.

"Mama has brought Nay into this matter. If you hadn't forced Mama's will to ask Kei to marry Nay, maybe the problem wouldn't have been this small." Continue Puan Sri still with a soft voice.

"No, Mama! Don't say that! How many times has Naya told Mama, this is not your problem at all. This is already his way. Nay never regretted it, Mama. But this time, if Nay can't meet Kei's brother, Nay will be very sorry, Mama."

"Darling?!"

"Mama?! Nay has not had time to fulfill Nay's duty as a good wife to Kei's brother, Mama," whispered Naya with a deep sense of guilt.

"No, honey! Kei who did not give Nay the chance to be a good wife for her. Mama's son has been weeding Nay all this time! He who has sinned against Nay for so many years?! Maybe it's the payback he has to pay for his crimes against Nay. Even if Nay intends to release Kei, Mama will support Nay one hundred percent", Ms Sri said softly but with great pressure as her eyes tried to trace the daughter-in-law's heart through the girl's eyes.

"No, Mama! How could Nay have acted in disobedience to Kei's brother, if an Asiyah bint Muzahim who had a cruel husband of Fir'aun alone could still make peace (social relations, everyday relationships) with good to her evil husband? Asiyah Bint Muzahim taught us, it is enough to be the matter of God's unity alone to separate Asiyah from Pharaoh. In terms of family relationships, she still respects and prioritizes the rights of her husband, Mama. Then brother Kei? Brother Kei isn't that bad, Mama?!"

Puan Sri smiled faintly at Naya's explanation which was more like a protest wrapped in the defense of a wife against her husband.

"Mh... Wicked Kei...?! Just a few days after kidnapping and capturing Nay, she has managed to steal the heart of Mama's beautiful daughter-in-law. Not a bit left for Mama presumably..." Puan Sri tilted her head with a seductive look.

"Mama?!" Naya poked her face deeper into the arms of her mother-in-law. His white face was reddened by a guava that was fortunately disguised by his black niqab.

Puan Sri smiled as her hand gently rubbed Naya's back.

"Well, Mama let me. But on condition that Nay return home safely with Kei" he said later.

"Alhamdulillah. Thank you so much, Mama. I love you more and more!" Naya embraces closely the body of Mrs Sri so happy to get permission from her in-laws.

"Love Mama, more and more?! Iye ke, huh? Wasn't Nay's love taken whole and round by the giant baby?" Puan Sri was still with her seductive sentence.

Tan Sri Abdul Hamid and Afifah just looked at each other and ended up with a headband when watching the 'drama' of the female in-law and her daughter-in-law.

"Mike, get Jordy to prepare. We're leaving now!" Tan Sri Abdul Hamid orders a young man of Kei's age next to him.
