The two grown men looked at each other in a sharp and deep highlight. Each of the two seemed like they were about to measure the strength of the opponent before him.
Kei looks pretty calm. He tries hard to keep his emotional stability under control. He knows for sure Azki, the cousin who became one of his beliefs for almost five years, is now transforming himself into a rival Kei.
During these few hours, it was seen how much his cousin's sister had tried to provoke Kei.
The Flashback
"I can easily let you go now, but in one condition..." Azki deliberately paused her sentence. His eyes looked at Kei straight. A thin grin rose at the corner of his lips.
Kei stared back sharply without breaking his gaze. He awaits the continuation of Azki's sentence. But Azki deliberately held back his words. The man walked slowly around Kei who was still tied to a chair, in the middle of the spacious room.
"You don't want to know what the conditions are?" Azki purposely brought her mouth closer to Kei's ear as she said that line.
Kei did not react. Her mouth was tightly locked, but her lips curved creating a thin smile.
"Nope! I don't want to know. So, you don't need to tell me!" Finally Kei replied softly with a flat expression.
"Oh, really?! Even if the terms are about Khaira though?" Azki again tried to provoke Kei by calling Naya's name which he used to call 'Khaira'.
The khaira? Mmm... What was their relationship like, until he dared to call my Naya with that call? This was already the second time I heard him call my Naya with 'Khaira'. A call that sounds special? Uh, special?! Oh, no! S-hhiittt!!
Kei was still silent with his flat look. His eyes remained sharp and almost indecipherable. But his heart began to wrangle and curse itself.
Azki who re-occupied the seat in front of Kei smiled with a thin grin. He is not a blind afternoon teenager reading the mood of his interlocutor.
As powerful as Kei tried to disguise him, Azki could still see the flash of anger in those black eyes even if it was just a cursory glance.
"Well, it's up to you! But I'm sure Khaira's on her way here!" Azki flashed her cynical smile.
"Urusan you with I je. So, no need to involve Naya!" Kei tightened his jaw while saying the sentence.
"Ha.ha... You're wrong, man! My real business is Khaira. Not you!" Azki chuckled as she got up from her seat and walked back to Kei.
"I'm here to pick up my Khaira. Keep him away from men like you. The man who only gave him the wound. Even just looking after him you can't afford!" Azki said with great pressure on her every word.
Kei clenched his fingers tightly. His hands that were still tied back clenched firmly with whitened knuckles. The embers on his chest flared up to ricochet through his eyes that lit with anger.
"So what you say! Who do you think you are, huh! And one more thing, don't interfere in my family's affairs! Let alone talking about something you don't know for sure!" Kei tried to hold back the anger in his chest. His tone remained flat but coldly froze. While his eyes looked back at Azki with the gaze of his eagle. Not breaking even a blink.
Azki again let out a sneer mocking him hearing Kei's sentence. His gaze was nosediving no less sharply.
"Don't I tell you that Khaira is my business?! Biggest business! And another one... I know you don't love him, like he doesn't love you either. So, moreover?! Just let her go! Let me take care of him! I will make her the queen of my heart! I'll make her the queen of my heart!" Azki said with intonation starting to rise.
"No! I will never let it happen! Even in your dreams, I will never let that happen!" Kei raised his voice.
"There's no need to be a bad luck hero for my i-s-t-r-i!" Kei deliberately emphasized the word 'my wife' to assert her position and put a clear line before Azki.
"You think I don't know your game?! Don't be happy just yet! If yesterday I let you guys off the hook, it doesn't mean I just let you off. I'm waiting for this day!!!" Kei said while stomping strongly on his body.
The man known to certain people as the black eagle of Malaya was bouncy with unexpected rapid movements. And suddenly he was standing firmly in front of Azki with his horses perfectly mounted.
Flashback Off
"You know, I have to be patient to wait for this day to come. Refrain when you and that fox woman kidnapped my Naya! Let you feel the upper hand when it manages to spread the video and all the hoax news! I told myself to wait for this day. One more! Get that fox girl out! I know he's been here since!" Kei said without taking his eyes off Azki who was right standing before him.
