Ch 67 — A Weighed City

After a conversation with Bearine, Tohrei and Ikumi immediately leave the city and go to the next destination, Aelion Empire.

Tohrei and Ikumi use wind magic to travel. While they were flying, Tohrei saw that there was someone who was being pushed by a group of bandits.

Seeing that Tohrei went down followed by Ikumi. “Where do you want to go Master? Isn't our destination still far away?”

“There are people who seem to need help under.”

Once he got to the bottom, Tohrei directly beat the bandits until they collapsed unconscious.

“Are you okay?” Tohrei cleaned his hands that were used to beat up the bandits.

“Y.ya.” The man in adventurer-like clothes replied with reflexes.

“Eh wait who are you guys?” The man was confused because of the existence of the two of them who came suddenly.

“We're just passers-by.” After beating up the bandits Tohrei intended to leave immediately.

“He..hei wait for you to come here and beat up those bandits and leave just like that?!” The man was confused with the two of them.

“Oh, looks like I can't go faster.” Tohrei and Ikumi came to a standstill because suddenly the ground shook and just like that the ground in front of them shattered and took out a monster of incredible size.

The man near the two of them could only fall silent staring at the monster due to its huge crest. “I..it?!”

The monster was in the form of a rodent, but on its tail was something unusual. On the tail of the monster was a large metal drill.

“Isn't that Drillgan?” Tohrei smiled faintly at the monster.

“Drillgan said you?! Isn't that A rank monster?” The man was surprised when Tohrei mentioned the name of the monster.

“What's the reason?”

“Why did you say?! We have to run! He's very dangerous!” The man immediately ran away.

“Do I have to destroy it Master?” Ikumi asked Tohrei.

“No need, I'll face it myself. You better keep an eye on these bandits, don't let them escape.”

“Then what about the man earlier?”

“Just let that person run.” After saying that Tohrei darted away towards the Drillgan.

“Hoi big monster look here!” Tohrei with a little strength hit the drillgan using his punch.

Instantly the drillgan's body fell and caused tremors on the ground. But even though it has been dropped, the monster still attacks using its tail.

His drill tail silently attacked Tohrei but easily gave a jolt to the drill in its tail. Instantly the drill on his tail shattered into pieces. Then Tohrei held onto the monster's tail and then swung it up and flew it away.

“!” Black smoke spread throughout the drillgan's body and then devoured it. The monster's body was completely left, its entire body was devoured.

After that Tohrei descended back to Ikumi's place. “What about those bandits?” Ask Tohrei.

“They are dead, hit by rocks that fly.” Ikumi pointed to the place where the bandits died.

“Eeehhh..”.

He can only sit. “What just happened?” He feels empty.

After a long journey, Tohrei and Ikumi finally reached a city. The city does not seem to be controlled by any country. It is smaller than the city of Vaelia.

When they wanted to enter, they were charged a fairly expensive fee of 1 gold, that was really blackmail. In the end Tohrei handed over two gold coins, but the guards guarding the gate instead asked for more.

“Hey wait, I changed my mind, the price per person to enter is 10 gold.” The guard with a greedy expression smiled.

“You're kidding? Is it so poor that you ask for so much money?”

The guard was upset because he was mocked by the poor. “Bokah! Don't fuck! I'm not kidding! If you don't hand over the entry fee now then don't expect to be in!”

“Both-good.” Tohrei turned around and went towards the guard to give him the money. The guard smiled widely.

“In your dreams!” Tohrei hit the guard and smashed him to the ground, rendering him unconscious.

“I'll take back my money.” Tohrei took the two gold coins he had previously given.

“Let's go Ikumi.” they walk in regardless of others looking.

When Tohrei and Ikumi went deeper into the city, they saw how shabby and broken the city was. Starting from the unkempt building and the homeless lying in the middle of the road.

The people they saw all the way looked thin and malnourished. Tohrei even saw that some of them were sprawled without lives and could only wait for the corpse to rot.

“What the heck this place is..”

Tohrei also saw that the water channel here is very dirty beyond the dirt of a dirt. The atmosphere in the city was also very bleak. Something is wrong with this town.

“I didn't know there was a city this bad..” Ikumi looked around.

“At first I just wanted to get through this city, but after seeing this I got so upset that I wanted to hit the person who was supposed to take care of this city.” Tohrei stopped his way.

They also went to the house of the owner of this city, the mayor's mansion. They broke into the mayor's mansion. There were two guards guarding the gate.

“A...what are you doing?!” The other guard seemed to be trembling in fear. He couldn't even hold his gun properly.

Tohrei did not answer him, he only did the same thing with the previous guard, which was devouring his head with gluttony.

“Sorry to show you this terrible sight Ikumi. Right now I don't know why I'm so upset.” Before attacking, they had previously seen these two guards torturing a vagrant near the gate in boredom.

“Nothing my Master will always support Master.” Ikumi gave Tohrei a sweet smile that calmed her down.
