System 04: First Training

After finishing practicing cultivation, Li Chen had improved his abilities to become a three-star junior fighter. However, just raising his cultivation level was not enough.

He still has two daily missions to complete. Therefore, he went to the backyard of the Li family residence to train alone.

Li Chen turned his head towards the source of the sound it came from. And there, he saw the figure of a mature woman who was so beautiful and graceful with her brown hair was beautifully unraveled. Using a traditional blue dress that is combined with her skin that is as white as milk.

That woman was Ling Yao, the mother of Li Chen. Ling Yao looked agitated as she turned to her left and to the right shouted out her son's name as if she was looking for him.

Li Chen who wanted to try his newly enhanced strength had to be delayed for a moment because the mother looked uneasy looking for him.

“Mother!”

Call Li Chen to make Ling Yao wake up and walk quickly towards him with a face full of worry.

“My son, why are you suddenly here? Why don't you rest in your room?!”

“Mother, come. I've been 20 years, why do I keep going in a room like that”

“Bu-not so.. I'm just afraid of anything happening to you”.

“Sorry mom. Next time I'll say if I want to go somewhere so as not to worry about mom again”

Seeing his son understand his worried feelings, made Ling Yao smile happily.

Instead of that, Ling Yao who had just come to see Li Chen in the garden asked him.

“Li Chen, by the way why are you in the park?”

Li Chen was shocked and almost choked on his own saliva. He had not wanted to tell his mother that he was cultivating. So he looked for another reason for his mother.

“A-ahh that! I was just looking for some fresh air! You know, going to the city would be a little dangerous for me. So I was just walking around the park. Hahahaha!” Said Li Chen awkwardly while scratching his head

“So yes. Right too, Li Chen. Mom almost forgot”

“A-what's wrong bu?”

“Tomorrow there will be a power exhibition event in the city. Mom and dad will be sending Yaoyao and Li Jia to go there”

Other than Yaoyao, Li Chen still had one younger sister who was 17 years old. A girl who is no less talented than Yaoyao and also herself in the past.

“Good. I'll be at home waiting for you guys”

“My son is indeed the best” Ling Yao said as she gently stroked Li Chen's head.

The hands that so gently stroked his head felt warm and comfortable. The feeling called a mother's affection flows within her as a whole. The thing that Li Chen could not get when he was in the previous world that was still a kara, now he got the second chance of his life.

“Day is getting late, don't linger outside” Ling Yao said as she walked back inside first

After living by his mother, Li Chen looked down quietly alone in the park. His hands began to slowly raise and hold the head gently rubbed by his mother.
