System 56: Familiar or Dear Call?

After saving Gong Qiao, Li Chen took some time to rest while guarding him. Gong Qiao who tried hard before in the face of the three enemies fell asleep soundly under the tree.

With the recovery pills he had obtained from the system, as well as his expertise as an alchemist in the medical field, Li Chen had treated Gong Qiao's wounds as well as stamina in order to recover as quickly as possible.

Ki's energy flow was not just any way it was released by him. Li Chen used his Ki energy to scatter into the surrounding area and sensed every movement of many people from his Ki energy that had fused with the air.

In this way, Li Chen could inspect the surroundings and devise a plan if there was a group of people running towards him and Gong Qiao.

Li Chen's facial complexion looked tense and even his eyes opened wide as if he was inexhaustible.

“A-what is it?! The energy felt very big. Different from many things I've ever felt. Could it be that it was a high-level mystical creature?”

Li Chen considered that Ki's energy came from mystical beings who had a mythical level or higher. However, he did not have enough information to conclude such a matter.

Gong Qiao turned his head left and right looking at the surroundings. Until the moment he looked back, there he saw Li Chen who was still focused in the opposite direction and put his back on him.

The sound of the rubbing grass made Li Chen startled and looked back. There he saw Gong Qiao who had woken up and immediately obliterated his Ki monitoring energy.

“Ah, Miss Gong Qiao. Turns out you've woken up”

At first, Gong Qiao's still glaring eyes as he had just woken up were trying to stare towards Li Chen. And when his eyes were clearly opened, his thoughts immediately made him recall the feeling of love that Gong Qiao had just realized before he fell asleep.

His heart was pounding again and his face became as flushed with embarrassment as a tomato. He turned his gaze around and hid right behind that huge tree.

“(Ah!! Again and again, I threw my face away from her! What will he think of when I do this continuously?! But, I can't look directly into his eyes!)” inner Gong Qiao

Unlike Gong Qiao who was at the wrong level with every single thing he did, Li Chen remained normal and even walked to Gong Qiao's side. He stood up and squatted down to stare equally at her.

“Hei, miss Gong Qiao”

“I-iya?!”

“This mystical training is still going on, we can't keep quiet here and hope to win”

When Li Chen said that, Gong Qiao's commitment in training and becoming stronger instantly flinched and he seemed to be regained consciousness.

“A-I understand. Sorry, I hampered” instead

Hearing Gong Qiao continue to call him with the word ‘tuan’ made Li Chen interrupted slowly.

And when he heard his new call, Gong Qiao's countenance became much more merried than when he said Li Chen's name. His red face was covered with hair falling forward and his face lowered down.

On the other hand, Li Chen who saw the reaction from Gong Qiao directly felt astonished because there was no response.

Li Chen was intending to call and also ask against his condition. He had thought that Gong Qiao's wounds had not healed completely and had relapsed in the midst of it.

But, it was just that suddenly Gong Qiao raised his face that was so red and scolded Li Chen.
