It has been seven years since Ling Chen left his hometown to settle in the suburbs of London.

She never wanted to leave her hometown, but in reality she had to leave after being exiled by her family.

Doctor Carrik let out a long sigh after hearing Ling Chen's reply. He was not angry, but just felt that Ling Chen's answer was the same as what his friends often said.

“What are your two eyes already working well?” while tidying up the equipment he used to open the bandage that covered Ling Chen's eyes, Doctor Carrik asked Ling Chen the state of his eyes.

“Both of my eyes can already see quite clearly, but I still quite feel glare with light,” replied Ling Chen.

"Doctor, the entire fee has been transferred to my usual account,” Ling Gao said.

“Uncle Gao, should Uncle not have to transfer fees for what I just did! What I am doing now is just doing advanced treatment, and again the cost of surgery that time has included the cost of continuing care for two months.”

“Because my business here is done and there are still some patients I have to go to, Brother Chen, Uncle Gao, I leave, three more days I'll be back to check on Brother Chen's eye development.”

Doctor Carrik came out of Ling Chen's room along with Ling Gao who was walking behind him.

Ling Chen who was left alone inside his room, he continued to try to familiarize himself with his eye sight.

Not long ago Ling Gao returned to Ling Chen's room while carrying a bowl of porridge that he had prepared as his young master's breakfast menu.

“Doctor Carrick advises Young Master to continue consuming porridge at least until he comes back to check the condition of the eyes of the young master,” Ling Gao said.

“Is there no other food I can eat besides porridge?”

“At least give me a snack.” Ling Chen showed his parched face.

“Young Master please be patient, three more days all the food that young master likes will be served in large portions.”

“Hah well, three days is not a long time.” Ling Chen ate his porridge and spent less than ten minutes.

Finished finishing the porridge, Ling Chen drank the medicine that would run out in the next three days.

“Uncle, how is our company doing? Are there any problems that occurred during my treatment?” Ling Chen's facial expression became serious as he asked the state of the company he had recently established thanks to a loan from one of his best friends during his stay in London.

Ling Chen smiled after hearing Ling Gao's reply, then he stared at the family photo on the small table near his bed.

“I can already see your faces, and soon I will come with many surprises for you,” he said.

He decided to return to his hometown, but not to meet his family, but he returned because he wanted to show them that he could get everything without an abundance of wealth from them.
