Meet Ling Meilin

Morning at Zou Chen's mansion.

“Uncle, how was my lecture? Can I start today?” zou Chen asked after finishing his morning breakfast.

“I've taken care of everything, this afternoon also Young Master can start college,” replied Zou Gao.

“Good, then I will prepare for the first day of college.” Zou Chen just went straight back to his study to prepare what he would bring when he went to the University where he went to college.

In the afternoon when Zou Chen wanted to go to college, he refused the wishes of Zou Gao who wanted to take him to the University.

“I'll go ride public transport.” Zou Chen did not want anyone to interfere with the fun on his first day at the University, therefore he rejected the desire of Zou Gao who wanted to drive him.

After boarding the city bus that immediately delivered him to a stop not too far from the University, Zou Chen got off the bus and then he just walked straight to the University gate.

Not only did he get out of the bus, but there were many students coming out of the same bus as him, including a fourteen-year-old teenage girl whose facial indentations were very similar to the curves of Zou Chen's face.

“That guy, why does his face feel familiar? At first glance I saw her face very similar to Mommy.”'s face Ling Meilin, the teenage girl continued to stare at Zou Chen who was walking a few steps in front of her.

“Is he Big Brother Chen? There was no way he was big brother, because Big Brother Chen was blind from birth, and again this time big brother was in London instead of in Beijing, he said,” said Ling Meilin who then started ignoring Zou Chen's whereabouts and walked towards his class.

Ling Meilin was indeed only fourteen years old, but due to her intelligence, she had already completed her education from elementary to high school level, and she was currently the youngest student at the University.

While Ling Meilin was walking towards her class, Zou Chen had first met a security to inquire about the whereabouts of her class, she only knew the name of her class because asking was the best solution to find out the location of her class.

As soon as he knew the location of his class, Zou Chen casually walked towards his class which was only five hundred meters away from the University gate.

Since there was still thirty minutes before the first hour began, Zou Chen decided to recognize the intricacies of the University where he would spend some time for some time to come.

Many of the female students who were secretly admiring the handsome face of Zou Chen when he passed by him, but after seeing Zou Chen's mediocre appearance, many of the female students immediately ignored Zou Chen's existence.

Lina the minute before the bell of the start of the first hour lesson, Zou Chen was already inside the classroom, because today was the beginning of a new semester, other than himself, there were three other freshmen who were in the same class as him.

Seeing only one empty spot left when he entered the classroom, there was no other choice Zou Chen ended up sitting in that place adjacent to the teenage girl who occasionally stared at him.

Zou Chen who realized that he was often stared at by teenage girls near his seat, with a flat expression he looked back at the girl's face. Although he first saw the face of the girl nearby, he was immediately able to recognize the identity of the girl.

Zou Chen just turned his eyes away and ignored the existence of the teenage girl whose body trembled slightly as he looked at the sharp gazes both of Zou Chen's eyes were fixed on him.

“Who is he really? Her face was similar to Mommy's, but her eyes were as sharp as Daddy's. Besides, somehow I feel that there is a bond between me and him.” Ling Meilin said all that in her heart while occasionally she still stole a glance towards Zou Chen.

“Why should I meet her in this class?” Zou Chen did not expect that on the first day of college he actually met his little brother who used to have a very close relationship with him.

“Hah, hopefully he has forgotten my existence after seven years passed.” Zou Chen prayed inwardly in the hope that his prayers would be answered right now.

The first hour of the course starts on time and ends within two hours. After the end of the first hour, there is a break for thirty minutes before the start of the second hour.

The lecturer directly teaches the courses he teaches without making introductions, then after the first hour is completed and before leaving the class, all students must sign the attendance list brought by the Lecturer.

“A new rule that is quite interesting,” murmured slowly Zou Chen while walking towards the canteen that is not too far from his class.

After buying the food he wanted to eat, Zou Chen was confused looking for a seat as all the seats looked to already be occupied.

Long enough for Zou Chen to stand looking for a seat, he finally found an empty seat among the five students who had occupied five seats around him.

“May I sit in this place?” Zou Chen asked the five students who instantly stared at him.

“What does this place belong to your friends who have not come? Then sorry to interrupt your meal time, I'll go find another seat.” Zou Chen walked away, but only then did he take a step away, one of the freshmen on the court suddenly called out to him.

“You can sit in that place, and again we are only five so there will be no sixth,” said the bespectacled student who was closest to where Zou Chen was based.

With a smile on his face Zou Chen happily occupied the empty seats after obtaining permission from the five of them.

“It looks like you are a freshman who does not know anything about this University, if you are old students should not be close to us. Five nerds who can study at this University only because of scholarships,” said the woman who sat right in front of Zou Chen.

“I Zou Chen, a new student today became a student at this University,” said Zou Chen introduced himself.

The five students had recognized who the new person was currently in their society, but the five students felt strange about Zou Chen not leaving even if they knew their identity.

The five students were not out of thought, how could Zou Chen still be calm when many other students gave a cynical look towards him because he was close to them.

Zou Chen shook his head looking at the strange behavior of the five students nearby, then he said to them. “Why should we care about other people who don't care about us? Just ignore their existence and enjoy our lives.” Zou Chen again showed his smile as soon as he finished saying that.
