The Promise of the Past

When he found out that the woman he was seeing was Jenni, the woman he had recently become his friend with, Zou Chen immediately pulled him into Hanna's room, because there was something he wanted to ask her.

Jennie, whose arms were tightly held by Zou Chen, could not rebel at all, and by lowering her head she entered Hanna's room.

“You know him? Or have you ever enjoyed the warmth from him?” Hanna teases Zou Chen while handing Jennie a tissue.

Jennie just cleaned her face with a tissue given by Hanna. As for Zou Chen, he was still quietly waiting for Jennie to finish cleaning her face, while occasionally glancing at the woman's extremely exposed clothes.

“I'm just a university friend with him, and also not long ago I knew him,” said Zou Chen who gave a slight look of disdain to Jenni, even though he knew what had just happened to that woman.

Jenni slightly raised her face, then looked at Hanna, as if asking for the woman's opinion.

Hanna smiled as Jenni looked at her, and with a small nod she wanted Jenni to accept Zou Chen's offer.

“I, I will work with you, but what about the residence of my three sisters? During this time they stayed at the house provided by Mommy Hanna, if I stopped working at this place, of course I have to find a new home for their residence!” That's what makes Jenni still hesitant to work with Zou Chen.

“There are still many rooms in my mansion. You and your three sisters can stay at my place, until anytime!” zou Chen offered a place to stay for Jenni and her three younger siblings.

Hearing what Jenni asked, Zou Chen further tightened his embrace. She has secretly had Bella investigate the identities of her new friends including Jenni, and a fact proves that Jenni is her childhood friend other than Ling Meilin.

Ling Chen and Zou Chen. Thinking of those two names, Jenni's body suddenly shook. Her tears could not be contained as she recalled Ling Chen's face, and compared it to Zou Chen's.

“You're Ling Chen?” jenni said as soon as Zou Chen let go of his embrace.

Zou Chen nodded his head, and instantly Jenni used both of her hands to cover her agape mouth, in shock at Zou Chen's other identities, other than a Zou Company owner.

“Did you remember that? If you remember, I want to collect your promise at that time?” Zou Chen billed Jenni's promise in the past.

Both Jenni glared wide, she knew and still remembered very well with her promise. However, he felt that he no longer deserved to keep that promise.

“A... I'm a dirty woman who doesn't compare to you, better forget that promise! Out there are many women who are much better than me,” Jenni said with tears.

“Tante, can you let us both in this room? I want to prove directly, if he's still as virgin as you said.”

“Are you sure of that?” jenni asked who could feel Zou Chen's breath sweeping across her face.

Zou Chen nodded his head, then kissed Jenni on the forehead. “But keep your promise, and I will repay what they have done to your parents.” Zou Chen already knew what had happened to Jenni's family, and again it was Ling Jun.
