The Flower Petal Revolution Stage
1 - 01

Time is my friend

The season will change. The sharp ones will be blunt. Words remembered in the heart will be forgotten.

it was an endless round called 'change'

I, who will not be forgotten, will continue to walk alone

I remember the sky I once looked up to.

The fingers of the little boy pointed at the rainbow that adorned him.

The bright colors that split the sky inspired me to run towards him.

I dreamt of chasing that bridge in the sky.

But since then, it has only been a shadow of lost days.

"Now, let's open the curtain and start the show."

A small town appears in the middle of a simple but borderless countryside.

This place doesn't feel like home. Instead, this place looked like an oasis in the desert.

Of course, this was not a desert, and the city was not an oasis.

This is the land where Kris Waarheid will set the long-awaited stage.

"By the way, sir, what should we do now?"

"No one was walking on the streets, and the wind flowing through the cracks between the buildings was cold and soft. I must admit, the promised land feels a little lonely."

The small town built around hotels and malls near the station has both old and new buildings, likely due to a lack of attention to urban planning.

It reminds me of Salvador Dali's painting. The holy and the desolate, the new and the worn out mixed without any rules, but had a strange kind of beauty that attracted my heartstrings.

"Master? Um, young master? Hey, you savage, pervert, cocky. Did you hear your great and perfect servant, Aisha, talk to you? Aisha is afraid that if you continue to ignore Aisha, Aisha will be forced to stick an electric voltage torture stick that is made specifically for all of you open holes in Your body."

Because when it's late at night, people's loneliness is a natural thing. A thin, stray dog ran up to me, but then ran away with a tail between its legs when our eyes met.

Wild animals that live under the law "The strong are the powerful" have much sharper senses than humans. He was afraid of the danger that was coming from me.

"Look, O ruler of the heavens. I finally got here. I have transcended all suffering, followed the path of destiny, and finally arrived at the promised stage. Oh, charming moon goddess, radiate peace to me with your smile. The stage will feature drama filled with tears, blood, and strife. Close your eyes and dream quietly until it's over."

"Master... If you don't stop talking to yourself, you'll look even stranger than the floundering blobfish lack of oxygen on land."

"Hm? Did you say something, my dear servant?"

"Yes, my honorable lord. Aisha asked as follows: "What should we do now."

Her name is Aisha.

If a retro English-style maid uniform doesn't make it obvious, she's a personal servant who really serves her old man.

However, no human being is free from lack. The drawback is the lack of ability to read the mood around.

"Aisha, my current excitement has reached its peak."

"Yes, Aisha was watching him. But personally, Aisha doesn't pay much attention to your cluttered peaks with arches here and there. Because what's more important is, what should we do now? Personally, Aisha was not sure what Aisha should think just by standing in front of the station."

"Try to think of your master's delight."

"Therefore Aisha was quite happy the day was already night. If it's daytime and someone sees us, Aisha will pretend not to know you and run away, but a perfect servant like Aisha can't do that, so Aisha is now upset by gold. By the way, silver will be better than gold. And underneath, you'll get pissed bronze. Aisha hope you don't get gold too often."

Despite being a great servant, he had a tendency to be quite insensitive.

"You're asking what are we gonna do? Of course there's nothing to say anymore. I'll go where I need to go and do what I need to do."

In this prefecture, Okushima City is one of the largest regions in the south.

As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 263,542 out of a total of 775,421 across the prefecture.

By Japanese standards, this place includes rural, but compared to other places in Europe or the Middle East, this place is quite urban. There are forests and empty land that can be reached on foot for a day or two.

Japan has more than a hundred million people in a relatively small region. By walking in a random direction, one can find a convenience store in just ten minutes. So, when considering it, perhaps Japan is an anomaly.

Okushima is often referred to as the "Water City". Most people will see it in tourist pamphlets.

And, that's not making it up. The city has a sea to the east, as well as three rivers running through it.

The biggest local event is the folk dance held in the summer, during the obon. This dance is very famous both at home and abroad.

It is considered one of the three largest festivals in Japan, and during its four-day run, it attracts millions of visitors from Japan and beyond.

That said, locals train from a young age to prepare for the dance festival and become its star.

The dance moves there have a history of four hundred years behind it. Combined with unique traditional clothing, this dance mesmerizes and unites its connoisseurs like a sacred ritual. I'd love to see it, but unfortunately, I don't have time for it.

I, Kris Waarheid, still have something to do, and a sacred promise to fulfill

"By the way, my trusted servant. I have a question for you."

"Please ask, sir. Show the stupidity you have, Aisha will answer.."

I immediately asked about the question that came to my mind.

 "Why night?"

"What do you mean by 'why'? Trying to understand you is difficult, so Aisha hopes you can develop that question in three sentences to clarify it."

Just three sentences, of course for me it's easier than catching a grasshopper.

"We arrive in Okushima, but we have to move away from our real destination. I remember that we were supposed to get here early in the morning. Why is it night now?"

"What an amazing achievement, sir. Your explanation is very clear. Aisaha is proud."

Aisaha praised me with a smile that adorned her face.

"No need to praise. It's impressive, I know, but it's nothing to a talented person like myself. Now, can I hear why?"

"Composed as you say, Sir."

"Hm. Your answers sometimes make me have more and more questions."

"Explaining it will take too long."

"Please summarize it in one sentence."

"Aisaha booked a seat for the wrong flight."

I immediately understood his explanation.

"Amazing. Well done, Aisaha."

"You don't have to thank Aisaha."

He stood up calmly, put a hand on his chest, and smiled shyly.

Everybody makes mistakes. There was no reason to scold him for such a small mistake.

As the saying goes, "time is money." Time is precious as gold. If you look at it that way, arriving half a day early is not a problem.

However, there is something we should think about...

"What should we do in the middle of the night in this dark city?"

We had to travel to our destination, but getting the means of transportation for it was very difficult at night. And since we were planning to arrive in the morning, we did not book the hotel in advance.

Lastly, standing in front of the station at night is quite boring.

This trusted and most loyal servant responded to a question from me by shrugging.

"Tau 'deh."
