The Flower Petal Revolution Stage

The Flower Petal Revolution Stage
1 - 02

Promises must always be kept.

It may not always apply to others, but to me, Kris Waarheid, a promise is a contract and a solemn oath before God. In fact, mere verbal agreements have their own burdens for me.

Promises are the past.

In a simpler sense, it is the part of the journey that creates one's life. Breaking promises means denying the path you have taken and ridiculing yourself as someone who is not worthy of trust.

For a person as great as myself, a promise is something priceless, so I will try my hardest with a soulful determination to fulfill it.

Many people will laugh at those who let their past bind them, and I believe that it is also another form of courage in a different way.

But that's not something I, Kris Waarheid, would choose

I don't know who I'm copying. He must be a stubborn fool, but that's part of me.

If I let go, I'll stop being Kris Waarheid.

That's why I'll face it.

Kris Waarheid had a promise to fulfill.

That was the main reason why I returned to this distant place in the east.

But, now, I'm facing a problem.

Aisha and I planned to arrive at dawn, but a mistake made us arrive too early.

My beliefs leave no room for fear of the powers of gods and goddesses, courts, or false accusations of heresy, but the flow of time is a fairly difficult element of life to deal with.

Maybe I should have noticed the mistake when we switched planes. Although I was very sensitive, I was also very apathetic, ignoring trivial things.

"It needs to be known, that lack of accuracy is a very master thing. Nonetheless, Aisha chose not to imitate it."

"By the way, what's the name of the place?

"You even forgot his name? Please set a limit to your inaccuracy. We head to the Caelum Flumen Nobles Academy, often referred to as the 'Academy."

"Yes, that's it! Aisha is really reliable."

"By the way, sir, we've been walking a bit far from the station, but where are we headed?"

"Of course, the Academy."

We stepped towards the promised land, walking on the right side of the seemingly endless car road, with only the stars as our lights.

Waiting until dawn would be boring, so I decided to take a look around the place where I would spend my days starting tomorrow. With each step that got closer, I got more excited.

It was about ten kilometers from the city. Supposedly the school will be visible after we walk about another five kilometers.

"If Aisha's memory is fine, that place should be on the mountain."

"Surely you are not opposed to walking at night through the peaceful and sunyikan land of Japan?"

"Aisha prefers if Master understands what Master is doing is just a troublesome Aisha and-"

BRUUK

Suddenly the sound of smashing sounds that sounded like fun pierced through the night air.

"Could it be an accident?"

DOOORS

The voice that appeared after him was undoubtedly the sound of gunfire.

I ran even before the echo stopped.

I headed to the source of the sound with the fastest possible movement and split the darkness of the night with the thin light from the moonlight illuminating my every step.

"It seems you can't expect a peaceful world these days. "

At a small bend in the road, in a place where vision became increasingly limited, I found a car that hit a road guardrail. Seen from his position, the car was deliberately hit the road guardrail.

A large car made in Germany, looks sturdy, painted black and with tinted windows. It was a striking combination in a remote city like this, one that was impossible for ordinary people to board.

And the scene in front of me was far more terrifying than an accident.

A group of armed men surrounded the vehicle like a pack of stray dogs surrounding an injured prey.

A woman, clearly a passenger, was pointed with a smoky rifle barrel at him. That must be the source of his voice. The gun was fired to threaten him.

The gunmen hide their faces behind rubber masks commonly found on monsters in Hollywood movies.

It looks like a Halloween party, but it is too bloody and dangerous even for a Halloween party.

Attacking an unarmed woman using a firearm and hiding their face was a very lowly act.

Or maybe they deserve credit for having prepared themselves well for whatever bad act they are about to do

"Faulia... Young Master, if you run that fast, Aisha will have a hard time following."

Aisha's a little out of breath.

"Emergency situations. I don't have a choice."

"Oh? And who are those people who happily swung the Kalashnikovs they were carrying?

The group is not armed with the New Nambu M60 pistol used by local law enforcement.

The form of the weapon is threatening. It was an automatic rifle, the famous AK-47.

It was invented more than half a century ago in the Soviet Union, and its ease of use and durability, allowing it to operate under any conditions, even when muddy, making it a common sight in regional conflicts around the world.

I've heard that its producers are not able to overcome social difficulties and go bankrupt due to the economic climate, but there are countless perfect copies made all over the world, which make a relic of its reputation.

There are over a hundred million of these weapons worldwide, and many of them are used to shoot and kill many opponents in warfare. The AK-47 is a powerful symbol of warfare.

"I never thought I would see my homeland filled with armed rebels. A lot has changed in the seven years since I wasn't there. The Japan I used to know is one of the safest places in the world."

"The weapon is the rebel's best friend just as the ball is the football player's good friend. It is one of the cheapest automatic rifles in the world. Even the rural gangs in the far east had no trouble getting it"

Kalashnikov lost its value due to overproduction.

Reportedly in Namba, one of the most dangerous cities in Japan, one can get a box of six for just 30,000 yen, and the seller is in every home gyudon restaurant.

"Mikhail Kalashnikov created the weapon to protect his homeland and his people. If he heard about its current use, he would be restless in his grave."

However, this is not the time to mourn someone who is no longer with us.

Regardless of whether the person is ******* who wants to get the ransom or a radical devotee who is lost because of fanaticism, it does not concern the victim.

"And that is why the life of the car and its passengers is like a candle blown by the wind."

Its location is a common rural area, an optimal place for such crimes.

The sound of a crashing car and the echo of a noisy shot would be disguised by the night, making it impossible for anyone to come to stop them.

"Aisha has a question, sir. What are we gonna do now?"

There's only one right answer to that question.

I stepped before the armed group in a proper manner.

Aisha instantly understood my intentions and just accompanied me.

"On a quiet night illuminated by the moon and the stars in the sky, what do you do to ruin his martyrdom?"

My unexpected appearance confused the armed group and the woman.
