A Very Long Night

Aland who was currently being held by Sebas in the corner of the room room, watched the Battle of Elis and Seraphina who faced an Assassin from a distance.

Their overwhelming strength made every attack and ability from both, destroying the entire room.

In an instant, the previously magnificent and beautiful room turned into a shattered scene. Furniture bounced and wall hangings fell to pieces. The once smooth and beautiful floor is now filled with fragments of stone from the Earth Projectile attack launched by Seraphina before.

However, the destruction of that main room space, did not stop until here. The final attack from Elis used his soul weapon, which was combined with the power of the Earth and nature Elemental energies. Releasing a very powerful Energy Explosion, to make a hole so large on the wall of the room that leads out of the yard. The hole revealed the courtyard of the mansion clearly from within the room, as if creating a large gate that directly led out.

The light of the full moonlight, radiating in through the huge hole that had formed, illuminated the body of Elis who was standing in the corner of the room, his breathing puffing after the fierce fight had taken place.

Sweat droplets flowed down his tired face, but satisfaction radiated within his eyes. The state of the shattered room was proof of the awakening of his long-lost power.

In the stillness of the night filled with gusts of wind, Elis gathered his strength again. He stepped forward to meet his son who was on the bench by the sebas near the bed.

"Free, is my son okay?" said Elis who was worried about his son.

"Young master is fine madam, please forgive the mistake of servant for coming too late to save you and young master. I got a little bit of a hitch on my way here" Sebas said, bowing his head in apology.

"Thank you for your help Sebas, you don't have to blame yourself. Thanks to this incident, it seemed like a strong desire from within my heart to protect Aland from that Assassin attack earlier, had opened the Spiritual Seal within my soul forcibly and restored my long-lost strength. All this must have been the will of God." Said Elis while holding back his son who looked so cheerful.

"Congratulations on your awakening Madam, Mr. Marquis will definitely be very surprised after hearing the news regarding this incident."

"Hei Sebas, do you think this Son of mine is the bearer of Luck? He looked so cheerful, as if everything was going according to his plan." said Elis who asked Sebas, looking at Aland's face and smiling at him.

"Hmmp.. Servant feels the same way Madam, since your previous fight. The young master seemed so Enthusiastic about the pace of each fight, while occasionally laughing and smiling at you. As if he was supporting and encouraging you from a distance." Sebas conveys the truth he saw when Leaning Aland earlier to Elis.

Aland, who heard Sebas talk with his mother, looked so surprised when he found the two adults looking at him.

"Am I going to get caught this time?" Aland slightly panicked, after hearing the statements of the two adults nearby.

"Haha.. Wasn't he Sebas' amazing son, when he grew up. Maybe he'll always trouble you."

"That would be a bliss for the servant of the Madam." Sebas smiled and bowed his body to pay his respects.

"Pyeohh.. Thankfully, they did not investigate me further. The instincts of parents are terrible. If I'm not good at hiding my secrets in front of him, it seems like they're alone who will always suspect my every move."

The next day, the morning sun shone brightly in the Zeron region, shining on the Marquis Personal Mansion which looked very crowded with workers in the morning. Everyone looks very busy at the moment, when they learn there was an attack on the Marquis' family last night.

Meanwhile, in another room room room that was inside the Marquis Personal Mansion. Elis is seen sitting leaning on the bed, along with the tiny body of Aland lying next to him.

The tired and sleepy face, was clearly visible as Aland's small eyes continued to flicker with great fatigue. It was because all night, he could not sleep.

After the Assassins who attacked last night were defeated, dozens of soldiers stood guard alternately around the Mansion and the entire room, creating an atmosphere around the bedroom where a Aland rested, it became so noisy and crowded by the voices of the guards, plus the presence of two women next to him who kept telling stories all night.

The two women are none other than Elis and his best friend Seraphina, who have not met for a very long time. They spend the whole night telling stories and chatting things up until the morning.

They continued to gossip and laugh incessantly, ignoring the little baby who was trying desperately to sleep quietly next to him.

Aland, who could not stand the preoccupation of his mother who chatted with Seraphina, finally could not hold back his sleepiness any longer. With a trembling hand gesture, he shook his head in a semi-conscious state, giving his mother a final signal.

"I'm so sleepy!" ucal Aland with a lethargic voice.

However, Elis and Seraphina were still engrossed in endless laughter, and were unaware of the cues she had displayed. Aland takes drastic action by turning his body on the bed and making a strange behavior of a baby that is so funny.

"noisy, noisy, noisy. Please, I want to sleep." whispered Aland in a small voice trying hard to seduce his mother. However, Elis and Seraphina were still unaware of the intent he was conveying.

It made Aland feel desperate, even though he was moving his legs in a silly pattern, like a salsa dancer on a bed. Elis and Seraphina continued their conversation non-stop.

In the end, Aland took a deep breath from his nose. With a dramatic hand gesture, he closed his eyes and succumbed to his unbearable drowsiness.

Slowly, Aland's small body relaxed and he fell into a deep sleep. Elis and Seraphina finally realized the state of their baby that looks so sleepy. They looked at Aland who was asleep with a look of regret, then Elis and Seraphina looked at each other and released a carefree laugh together.

"Hahaha, it seems that he can't help his sleepiness anymore!" elis said among a series of laughter.

"Yes, your son is so cute and adorable!" Seraphina answered while laughing out loud.

The two then walked out of the room with smiles on their faces, while Aland continued to fall asleep soundly without caring about their chatter which made him so sleepy.

In a blissful silence, Elis and Seraphina knew that this story would be a hilarious anecdote they would tell Aland later on.
