The Price That Should Be Paid

Queen Alysia looked at Venom Dragon firmly. He felt a weakness in his physical body and his current Elemental form, as a result of absorbing the deadly poison on the previous Venoms Dragon's body.

"Strike with all the power you have! Don't let this monster breathe again!" alysia exclaimed to her troops, with her determined voice.

The Elf warriors, driven by their Queen's spirit and determination, continued their attack with unwavering courage. They aimed their attacks at the wounded Venom Dragon's body, using all sorts of weapons and their abilities.

Their swords slashed at the venom dragon's body, the Silverthorn family's arrows rained down on his wounded body and extremely powerful magic attacks continued to be launched towards him continuously. All of them combined in an incredible attack, to shake the monster's body and make it scream in pain.

However, the forbidden strength within Alysia's body was further weakened. The poison he absorbed accelerated the fallout from that power. His Elemental body began to fragment and slowly showed signs of destruction.

In that weakest state, Alysia saw a weak spot that opened on the Venom Dragon's body. He looked at the Venom Dragon with his eyes that exuded a strong determination.

"This is our last moment, Venom Dragon. I will put an end to your cruelty, just get here." Alysia said in a weak voice, but filled with courage.

With the last remaining energy, Alysia launched her ultimate attack by fusing together some of the prickly root tentacles she called out, until they wrapped around each other and shaped like a giant drill bit, made from thorny roots.

This final attack from Alysia, drilled the Venoms Dragon's body on the part of its scales that had been shattered and slightly exposed. This shows a gap to the weak inner body.

The monster cried out in unbearable pain, its body being forcefully hollowed out by Alysia's immense power. Making the wounds on his body widen, and torn to every layer of flesh behind his thick scales.

That spiked thorny root that spun so fiercely, pierced into the back of the Venoms Dragon's body and separated its body, into two halves. The monster's body and head fell to the ground with an earth-shaking bang.

The Elf army that watched the Venoms Dragon had lost and fell to the ground. Celebrating victory with joy. Cheers and applause filled the air, illustrating their success in defeating the powerful and evil Venom Dragon.

Along with the current collapse of the Venoms Dragon, Alysia freed her body from her Elemental form and returned to the Elf form. He fell to the ground in a weak and exhausted condition after the previous fierce fight.

But there was a strangeness that happened to Alysia's body, her body became very old and thin. It was caused by the side effects of the Starleaf family's forbidden power that had taken most of its life force. Coupled with the deadly poison stored within his body, making his skin look purple-greenish in color.

"So, this was the price a Starleaf had to pay to use the Ancient Family's power. What a terrible power." Alysia said in her heart, while trying to get up and walk.

Although her body was extremely weak, Alysia only had one way to be able to survive her current weakened state. He approached the lifeless corpse of the venom dragon before him.

"Hear my calling, Soulstone of Eternity!"

With the rest of the magic power she possessed, Alysia took out the Soulstone of Eternity from the traces of magic energy still remaining within the body of the Venoms dragon.

Alysia grabbed the Soulstone of Eternity with both hands, then sang an Ancient Elf Nation verse with her melodious voice, she created an exquisite harmony. Bringing Spiritual calm to anyone who hears it.

In the voice of Alysia who was so sweet and beautiful, there was life energy that entered the body of the entire Elf army who were listening to her sing.

This pure life energy from the Soulstone of Eternity, Restoring Alysia's previously old and weak physical condition, had returned to being the figure of an extremely beautiful and Wise Elf Queen.

After restoring her life force, Alysia directly placed the Soulstone of Eternity into the heirloom box that she had taken out from within the magic storage room.

Alysia let out a long sigh, staring at the several greenish-purple bruises, which were none other than the venom of the venom dragon that was still stored within her body.

He felt an enormous burden from the deadly poison. Although the Soulstone of Eternity had restored its life force, it was extremely difficult to recover, even with the pure life energy of the Soulstone of Eternity.

Only fate can determine the fate of Elysia in the future, hoping that the god sends someone who has pure life energy since she was born, who can cure Alysia from the remaining Venoms Dragon poison that is in her body.

Holding the heirloom box containing the Soulstone of Eternity inside, Alysia walked towards the family leaders who had come to her in a hurry.

"Your Majesty, are you okay? What happened to your noble body, tell us, what can we do to help you?" aryndel asked in a worried tone, while the other family leaders agreed with concerned expressions on their faces.

"This is a sacrifice I have to bear. This poison is the price to pay to defeat the Venom Dragon and protect our homeland. I will continue to fight against this poison in my body, and look for ways to neutralize it in the future. You don't have to worry about it. Uhuk.. Uhuk.." said Alysia with a weak voice.

The leaders of the Elf family, were moved to hear the words of their Queen, as well as to worry about her current state of concern. Inwardly, they promised to do everything possible, to continue to help Queen Alysia in countering the effects of the deadly poison present in her body.

In that still weak state, Alysia returned to the Elf Palace with her entire army. From a distance he saw the once beautiful scenery of the forest, now filled with wounds and destruction from the traces of the previous battle.

Alysia could only promise herself at this moment, that he will continue to fight against the poison in his body and will make every effort to protect his people from various threats that come in the future.
