The Heir's Naughty Twins

The Heir's Naughty Twins
59. Thirsty pawn

"Mandala."

"Yes, Miss?"

"Did Mandala hold my hand yesterday?" Yuveria smiled broadly full of happiness. "Yuve had a beautiful dream when Yuve's hand was held! Yuje-nii holds the right and Mandala holds the left."

Mandala blinked, then peeked at Eros' expression to understand what he wanted.

It seemed like she did not expect her son to know it was her doing, as surely Yuveria would instantly turn her sentence into a nightmare if she knew.

"Yes, Miss." Mandala nodded confidently. "I held her because Miss seemed to want to cry and called Miss Hestia. I'm grateful to be able to help."

Yujerian bribed the chocolate avocado pulp into his sister's mouth. "Yuve is very excited when sleeping. I told you to learn to fix it."

Brother's pouting. "Sou ieba, Haha-ue is leaving again?"

Before Yujerian replied, Eros first said, "Hestia said to accompany you to look around the school. It's still a few months you're in, but it's fine if you want."

When Yuveria was willing to say no, Yujerian quietly held her hand.

The sister looked confused, but she believed in Yujerian so she kept quiet.

"All right."

Eros clearly jerked. Thought they'd say something like 'urusaii yo jiji' or 'just go by yourself'.

Why suddenly? "It's not an important trip so you can refuse if—"

"We're fine." Yujerian took turns eating with his sister through a large bowl of chocolate avocado porridge. "We don't want to trouble Haha-ue, so take it easy."

When he finished eating, obviously his sister pulled Yujerian to a quiet place— in taman— to ask the reason for his attitude.

"Why did Yuje-nii do good to Chichi-ue?"

"Is all good works always grey on stupidity, Yuve?"

Brother jerks. "Yuje-nii want to trick her?"

Not that far, anyway. Yujerian only wants to use everything he has to protect his family.

Well then, if Hestia is hostile to her family and needs strength to take them down, Eros is the solution.

"He's a priceless pawn." Yujerian held his little sister's hand. "Don't throw away valuable pieces too quickly. Use it until it's worthless."

Yuveria. Then smiled widely until his cheeks bulged innocently. "Yuje-nii is always smart."

Sure oes.

His mother taught.

Hestia sipped her morning tea with Darius.

Since yesterday he was agitated at the thought of what Melia would do, but seeing until now he and Tamara have not said anything and still pretend to be on vacation somewhere, Hestia thinks they won't resort to cheap tactics like complaining.

Come to think of it, Melia was a tough kid. He was not the type of person who would insult back if he was insulted.

Why do such a lowly thing? Tear her mouth to make her regret and the person after her knows what the consequences of their humiliation are.

I taught her, muttered Hestia anxiously.

"Hestine."

Even so, he still had to maintain this little charade. "Yes, Pa?"

"How much money are you now?"

"Thirty, Pa."

Darius propped up his cheek and looked serious. "You've been playing around for too long. At the age of twenty-five you should have been engaged. I think we should get married soon."

Inwardly he trembled, outside Hestia smiled casually. "Come, Pa. Unlike when I got married then there was an advantage given to us. It's better to choose the person carefully and make sure he gives Papa the satisfaction of being a son-in-law."

"But this has been too long. It's not strange if you have children now. I'd be more at ease if your son was the heir."
