From Abu Darda radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

الْوَالِدُ أَوْسَطُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَضِعْ ذَلِكَ الْبَابَ أَوِ احْفَظْهُ

“Old people are the middle door of heaven. You can waste that door or you can take care of it.”

(CHR. Tirmidhi, no. 1900; Ibn Majah, no. 3663 and Ahmad 6:445. Al-Hafizh Abu Thahir says that this hadith is hasan.)

"Yes son, my mother forgave me before you even asked for it" said the mother as she stroked the back of her second child gently..

When Azkha and mami are giving up longing.

"Azzam Man?" call Aziah soft but still heard by Azzam, and Azzam immediately turned to his sister.

"Behold, son, the happiness of parents, you must not give something precious, but they will be happy enough to see their children gathered near him, because it has become a medicine for us, and let alone seeing you guys get along with each other and have a foundation of affection, it adds to our happiness points" Hendrawan said full of tenderness.

From Anas bin Malik radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُمَدَّ لَهُ فِي عُمْرِهِ وَأَنْ يُزَادَ لَهُ فِي رِزْقِهِ فَلْيَبَرَّ وَالِدَيْهِ وَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ

“Who likes to extend his age and add his sustenance, then devote to both parents and establish relations with his relatives (silaturahim).”

(CHR. Ahmad, 3:229; 3:266)

"And in another hadith :

From Abdullah bin ’Umar radhiyallahu ‘anhuma, he said,

رِضَا الرَّبِّ فِي رِضَا الْوَالِدِ وَ سَخَطُ الرَّبِّ فِي سَخَطِ الْوَالِدِ

“Ridha Allah depends on the ridha of parents and the wrath of God depends on the wrath of parents.”

(CHR. Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad, no. 2.)

"So if you want to be happy in the afterlife then never disappoint your parents, do you understand son?" said the papi gave enlightenment to the three of them as well.
