Dara walked towards the kitchen of this house. Take a glass of water and sip it while sitting down. The morning habit in this house. Waking up, bathing, morning prayers, light warm-up to stretch his muscles. Then go down to the kitchen for breakfast the next morning and sip some green tea. Repeated over the past 3 months.
Dara knows the full story of Kang Asep and Mira. That event. It is still the same today from 12 years ago. Jose urged him to speak up, expose the case. Dara doesn't care anyway this isn't her capacity to interfere. But Jose didn't give up as if he knew that Dara had a bright side of her own.
Kang Asep still has a grandmother who lives with him. The old woman he met once when he picked up Kang Asep to come with him to the city. The old woman's friendly attitude did not mask her sense of prey because she knew the other side of the old woman. Nini doesn't approve of Kang Asep and Mira.
Rumor is there is no reason for song Nini to refuse to approve them. Jose was reluctant to tell because Dara herself still refused to help him, Kang Asep and his love, Mira.
Speaking of Baron, the bastard according to Jose. Dara often met him. The owner who was a little younger than Kang Asep. Just look at him knowing Baron's a bitch.
Often visit to simply invite him to eat or walk around. Long ago he was caught off guard, deciding to block all access so that the Baron would not enter his neighborhood. In the end the Baron became his first enemy here.
“Why, Mang Din?” he asked as the old man entered the kitchen in a hurry.
“That's Non, Kang Asep equals Baron fighting on the front page.”
“Well, can you do it, Mang?” he got up and left his breakfast the next morning.
“Non Dara do not need to follow later Non why-why.”
“No, Mbok. I can take care of myself.”
Dara followed Mang Din towards the front page.
“Kang Asep tea do not need to follow. I have no business with Kang Asep. Well this is Neng Dara I'm looking for.”
“Jaga distance. You can't get close to Non Dara.”
“Why? Kang Asep is a hero? No need to interfere in my affairs with Neng Dara deh, Kang.”
“Urusan Non Dara my affairs also.”
“Wuohhh emang Kang Asep ready tea Neng Dara? So the lackeys are holding you back, Kang.”
Bugh!
The punch right on the Baron's face was a gift from Kang Asep.
“Yes Allah, Kang!” Mang Din yelled while Dara held her breath in a huff.
“Baron freelance Kang Asep! The baron! Let's talk.”
“Non Dara don't need to talk to him.”
“I don't know Neng why Kang Asep insistent on my barrier to meet Neng Dara,” himself rubbed with a bruised face.
Kang Asep spat out blood, the corner of his lips torn slightly.
“Let's talk later this afternoon. Now go home there.”
“My face is bruised, Neng. Don't want to treat my face first, Neng?”
“Heh! Go home to you! Or want me to add in let it crumble all over the face?”
“Duhhh yes I go home, Neng. My business with Kang Asep is not done yet, Kang.”
“Sit there!”
The baron ran limping after seeing Dara preparing to throw him with her slippers.
“Come Kang enter first let Mamang treat inside.”
“Then later Mbok get water to compress.”
Dara looked at him flatly when Mang Din entered the house.
Mbok Mi and Mang Din were busy compressing the wounds on Kang Asep's face. Dara sat on the sofa opposite them.
“Aawww..”.
“Pardon me, Kang. This Mbok tried slowly.”
“Let's be with Mamang if only if Non Dara wanted to meet the Baron.”
“Nevent gone, Mang. I can do it myself.”
“Non!” it sounded like snapping as she called out to Dara along with the pain of her injuries appearing when she was accidentally pressed.
Dara reflexes. Kang Asep grimaced softly.
“Duhhh sorry-sorry, Kang. Unintentionally mbok.”
“Non Dara no need to meet Baron. I forbid Non Dara to meet with him.”
“Why?”
“Non Dara my responsibility. If there is nothing the same Non Dara, I am the first to be asked by the Father later.”
Kang Asep took pains to finish his sentence.
“Udah, Kang. I'm not a child. I can take care of myself.”
“You don't know how the Baron is,” the flow is sharp.
“I know who I'm dealing with.”
After blurting out that sentence Dara chose to go upstairs. They just looked at each other at the young lady's departure.
Dara locked herself in her room all day. While Kang Asep detained Mbok Mi to stay there.
“Non, just follow said Kang Asep. Mbok is worried about Non Dara later being mentioned by Baron.”
“I'll be fine, Mbok.”
The old woman had a sad face, her husband was going to the factory to meet Mang Juki. While Kang Asep was fast asleep and he was reluctant to wake him up.
They were talking in the middle of the tea garden. The sky began to turn yellow, the sun began to move to the western horizon.
“I'm asking you not to bother me anymore. Stay away from me and my environment.”
“Why? Neng Dara tea why not want to be close to me?”
“Stop! Don't need to cut me off. How dare you take a step forward I say you!”
Dara pulled out a folding knife from her bag of cargo pants. He followed his instinct to carry the thing just in case.
“Wow wow patient or Neng. I don't want to hurt Neng Dara. So the knife is saved, huh?”
“There is no guarantee that you will not hurt me. Stop!”
Dara retreated with her hand brandishing a knife.
“I tea a good person, Neng.”
“There is no good man who would hurt the woman he knows as his cousin's fiancee. Moreover, you are still free to roam here.”
“Means Neng Dara what tea?”
“Tea garden, night, and Mira. You must remember that event.”
Baron flinching. His eyes shone on Dara.
“Know where you are?”
Its aura dimmed darkly in harmony with the increasingly dark sky.
“I know from where? Hahahaha.. Guess what?”.
Baron breathing worries.
“It's not hard to find your rot, Baron. People like you do not deserve to live freely while they are tormented because of your depraved behavior!”
Baron growling furiously, “From!”
He chased after the young woman fiercely. Dara ran on a rocky path between the vast tea gardens. The dark atmosphere obscured his vision.
“Mbok, Non Dara where?”
“That Kang.. Again dusululin equals Mang Din to the garden.”
“Ngapain him in the garden, Mbok?” He asked in a panicked tone.
“Speaking with Baron, Kang. Eh Kang Asep just rest Mang Din already.. Kang!”
He did not care about the call of Mbok Mi who told him to stay while he was worried half-dead about the condition of the woman.
“Aarrghhhh off!” Dara wrestles with Baron. His body crashed onto the ground and the Baron tried to occupy it. The knife he pointed at the Baron's face but was held by the man's hand. Long they wrestled like that, finally Dara bit Baron's hand as much as she could. It was effective, the Baron slipped and he tried to get up to run away.
In between the tea garden he ran staggering with minimal energy remaining. The baron was still chasing behind him.
“Aaa!!”
“Can hahaha.”
His laughter hurts the ears.
He was trapped on the ground by the Baron's body.
“Neng Dara wants to end up like Mira too?”
“Lease!”
Dara tried to remove her locked wrist. The knife changed hands and now shuffled a few centimeters from his eyes.
“Bad people like you won't calm down.”
“Neng Dara is wrong. Look at my last 12 years well. That's why you don't be pretentious and pretentious.”
“Arghhh!”
“Hahahaha... Who wants to call you in the middle of a tea garden like this?”
“You want the fate of Neng Dara like Mira? Yes?”
She's getting tired. Run, fall down a few times, and now his strength runs out to fight the Baron.
One last way he thought. Either it works or it doesn't.
“JOSEPH!”
Afterwards the Baron pressed the woman's hand against his own neck. Dara is getting weaker. He resigned.
The wind blows with the cold. Dara could still feel the giggles around her neck loosening.
“Mira?”
Dara heard Baron's voice. The man looked ahead. Dara slightly turned her head. There Mira's figure approached them. The baron stood backwards.
“Mi... Mira?”
Dara saw the figure of Mira chasing the Baron who ran into the bushes of the tea garden. Soon screams of pain were heard.
Dara tried to get up with the rest of the energy he had. The knife he held on the right. Just in case a snake or anything goes around it.
“JOSEPH!”
Dara did not see the figure of the bule appear. He was a little disappointed when he tried to help but even unlucky that he got.
His feet are really limp. He resigned himself if he fainted and died bitten by a snake he resigned. His energy is completely exhausted. And he fell to the ground.
“DARA!”
—
“Mbok?”
The six pairs of eyes looked at him in shock.
“Mbok, please make me green tea yes. Take it to my room. Thanks, Mbok.”
“Non..”
Dara walked back to her room. While the people waiting anxiously at the dining table were dumbstruck.
Dara raised her legs to the wooden bench she was sitting on. Hugging his knees while observing the front yard from the window of his room. He tried to empty his mind.
“Tehnya.”
Dara finds Kang Asep putting a cup of green tea on her dresser. The man leaned against the window standing right in front of him.
“His body has been taken to the hospital.”
“She died,” Dara said slowly.
They were silent not staring at each other.
“I saw Mira smile last night.”
Dara looked at Kang Asep, “Where did Kang Asep meet me?”
“You shouted call my name twice.”
“I don't.. Try to see this.”
Dara shows a painting of a bule-faced man.
“He's the Joseph I called last night.”
Kang Asep frowned.
“You know my grandfather?”
Dara shook her head and drew a conclusion, “It only makes me a little surprised when I see Kang Asep shaving off his beard and mustache at that time. Kang Asep's face looked familiar. I remembered this Joseph.”
“My real name is Joseph too, Dara.”
“All makes sense. Tea Mira is the granddaughter of the woman Joseph loved. Nini does not want Kang Asep involved with Teh Mira. That's why he doesn't approve of you. And Jose asked me for help to investigate the events that caused Mira Tea to become depressed. Baron the culprit.”
“I know. But I have no proof and Mira is afraid to report it.”
Dara stroked a picture of a beautiful woman with a sideways braid.
“My job is done here, Kang. I have fulfilled my grandfather's promise to help his grandfather Kang Asep.”
They look at each other, “Kang Asep can bring these two paintings. Also wasted is okay.”
Dara took a cup and sipped her green tea.
“Autral Baron?” tanyanya while stroking the edges of the cup.
“There are many witnesses who saw that you are not the culprit.”
“They see Mira Tea too?”
Kang Asep nodded.
“I want to find Joseph.”
“From!”
He left the room in a hurry. Get out of the house and start screaming.
“Joseph! Joseph out you!”
“Non Dara nyari tea Kang Asep? This is Kang Asep, Non.” Mang Cecep.
“JOSEPH!” the screams get louder.
“Non Dara, where are you going? This Kang Asep's tea is here, Non.” Kang Adang also started to feel worried.
“Non Dara!” they shouted almost simultaneously as Dara ran out of the fence.
“Let me alone pursue him.”
“Be careful, Kang.”
“Then you don't have to follow them.” Mang Juki's holding Adang.
“I am also worried oruh Mang same Non Dara.”
“Let Kang Asep straighten out,” Mang Din pat Adang's shoulder.
Dara follows Joseph's shadow which leads to the tea garden.
“Thank you, Dara. You are a good man. Sorry to endanger you last night.”
“Jose!” he shouted because he only heard the voice and did not find his figure. He explored around the garden.
“I want you to take care of my grandson, Joseph. It's time he took off this shackle.”
“It is not my duty to take care of your grandchildren. I don't want to. Jose out!” Dara screamed in frustration.
Dara is desperate. Jose didn't show himself.
Joseph died while saving his first love, shortly after the woman who was his grandmother Mira was following Joseph.
“I was almost doomed because of your son-of-a-bitch grandson. Now I also have to take care of your other grandson? I don't want to,”.
He fell down and began to sob.
“Airdara!”
Kang Asep walked over to the woman. Dara wiped the trace of her crying and walked towards the man.
“Come home,” take her.
“Back of body, Kang.”
“Why?” He turned his body.
Dara stuck her forehead on Kang Asep's back, “Jalan.”
“You why is it like this?”
“Jalan aja, Kang.”
They walked hand in hand with Dara who was still trying not to sob anymore. His hand squeezed the end of Kang Asep's shirt.
On the main road of the plantation they paired up with several workers.
“Who or Kang Asep is behind him?”
“Non Dara, Mom. More dizziness he said.”
Dara did not hold her head up.
“Owhh yes. Excuse me or Kang, Non.”
“Mari, Bu.”
Arriving at the courtyard of Dara's house straightened her head. Heading to a wooden bench in the park near his parked car.
“Please make me green tea, Kang.”
She put her cheeks on the table. Closing your eyes with regular breathing. The sound of things being placed on the table made him wake up.
“Still, Kang.”
Slowly he sipped his tea. Sighing and staring at the man who these past three months had helped him.
“My day home, Kang.”
He silently stared at the woman before him.
“Let me drop by city.”
Dara shook her head, “Follow the report every week to me until there are instructions from Grandpa. I'll talk to him myself later.”
“No plans to settle here?”
“Asep's kidding?”
The one asked silently looked straight at Dara.
“There are still other priorities I have to go to. Staying here is not my real priority. If not the lure of Grandpa to smooth my plan, maybe I do not want to be told to come here and fulfill his promise.”
“Which I see you enjoy the atmosphere here.”
“Iya right. Living on a green farm. Beautiful atmosphere, fresh air is the last thing I want.”
“You can't make this last thing a priority for you?”
“There is no compelling reason to change my priority list, Kang.”
“There, I?”
Dara laughed discordantly while Kang Asep looked at her with confidence.
“Involve me in whatever you want to achieve. I will support you any way.”
“By letting me go, can?”
He fell silent and turned his eyes. Dara enjoyed every sip of tea she sipped.
“I will meet Grandpa and make new offers about this estate.”
“Involve me too?”
Dara looked at the man sitting in front of her calmly. He nodded steadily.
—
Dara poked her arm in the car door. Enjoy the soothing morning air of the plantation. The man sitting on the driver's bench smiled faintly.
“I'll miss the atmosphere here, Kang.”
“But I will regret that my ideals have not been fulfilled.”
“Cannot be shortened in time?”
Dara shook her head, “One year may not be enough for me to explore the places of my dreams. But I will try for a year I will use it well.”
“I always wait for you here.”
“Still, Kang.”
Kang Asep widened his smile. Drive very carefully on the main road of the tea garden. His feelings improved a little though he had to let go of this woman for the next year.
Dara closed her eyes enjoying the cool morning breeze while caressing her face. The tea garden, green tea, and Kang Asep blend are not too bad either. He can't wait to come back to this place.
