The Given 25

Given seemed to be silent while looking out the window. Kenzo felt a drastic change from Given's attitude.

And he knew that his attitude had changed because of the man named Steven earlier. Kenzo doesn't care about that.

But he was upset because he wanted to know what was going on between Steven and Given.

'That's none of my business, ' Kenzo's mind repeatedly.

No one spoke in the car. Kenzo focused on driving, while Given seemed to ponder about Steven and his wife.

'What does he mean he brought his wife to know me more closely? He knows that I like him. And that means he knows that I would be uncomfortable being around them. Wait ... Steven's brother has mercy on me? Oh my ... Why is this taste so annoying? I have to show that I'm very well and have moved on from him, ' Inner Given.

"Hey, come!! Until you're daydreaming?" kenzo said when his car had stopped in front of the company lobby.

Given did not hear Kenzo's words because he was too focused on daydreaming and thinking about Steven.

"Given!!" call Kenzo while touching Given's shoulder.

Given regained his senses and then looked towards Kenzo.

"Ah yes, sorry," said Given and the woman got out of the car.

Kenzo and Given walk together. They became the center of attention because they both came to the company.

"Ken, I'll buy coffee for a while" Given said while near the company's cafe.

"No, just later" replied Kenzo.

"Ken, I'm not excited and have to drink coffee and a little bread" Given said.

Kenzo stopped his steps and looked towards Given.

Kenzo took Given by the hand and took him to the elevator.

That further reinforces the notion of employees who see them that Kenzo and Given have relationships outside the boss and employee relationship.

"You ruined my morning, Ken," said Given.

"Oh yeah? I think those two were the ones who were troubling you in the morning" Kenzo replied as if to insinuate Given.

Given fell silent and spoke no more. His facial expression changed and Kenzo saw it.

Given removed his hand from Kenzo's and they were alone in the elevator.

The elevator opened and they came out at the same time. Kenzo walked first in front of Given and the woman simply followed the boss in front of her.

Then the two of them entered into the hall room where Kenzo was going to have his big meeting there.

Everyone in the room looked at the two of them. They did not expect the boss to pick up Given when he arrived out of the hall room as soon as he knew Given did not come to this big meeting.

Given sat next to Ken and also some important company officials. Given wasn't awkward at all because he was used to the situation.

Then some financial staff gave some files to Given. After that Given explained about what he mastered in the company.

He explained very firmly and clearly the financial system in the company.

And it was enough to make Kenzo satisfied with Given's explanation that made him think that Given was really really a very dexterous and intelligent employee behind the attitude of his bar bar.

Given is able to separate personal and work affairs. He is very professional in his work in Kenzo's eyes beyond the bad relationship between them.
