The Given 53

"Who would you dare to determine who can meet Given? Cih," said Steven who since the beginning did not like Kenzo.

"I don't have to explain who I am. I don't want you to show up in front of Given for whatever reason. And Given won't care if you're divorced or not because you don't matter to him" Kenzo said.

"Given is a loyal woman and I've known her since childhood. So he can't just forget me. You're afraid I can control Given's heart again?" steven said with a mocking smile.

Kenzo laughed softly and pressed down on Steven's neck.

"You're not my rival, Dude," Kenzo replied and pressed the elevator button.

TING

The elevator door opens and Kenzo pushes Steven's body in there despite Steven's fight.

"I won't let you show your nose to Given, though" Kenzo said before hitting Steven's cheek.

Steven fell down and the elevator door closed.

Kenzo took his pocket phone and called security at Given's apartment and his men.

He wanted Steven to stay away from Given and never see Given again.

There is a fear in Kenzo's heart that Given will return to see Steven and ignore Kenzo.

"She's mine. No one can take it from me" he whispered.

After a few minutes outside, Kenzo went back inside Given's apartment.

Given saw Kenzo.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem with the company?" ask Given.

"No, just a small matter" said Kenzo who then sat back next to the beautiful woman.

Given looked towards Kenzo and observed his face.

"What's wrong? My eyes are sharp enough to see the problem on your face" Given said.

Kenzo doesn't want to talk about Steven and doesn't want to talk about him at all so Given doesn't remember him anymore.

"Gaby's sick? What pain?" ask Given.

"It's just plain hot. Mommy just told me earlier," replied Kenzo.

"Definitely Aunty Cal was worried despite just the usual heat pain" said Given holding Kenzo's hand.

"Hmm, let's get on with our work" Kenzo said.

"Go home, Ken. It's been quite a night and you must be tired after a long day at work" Given replied.

"This box will be used for meeting materials" Kenzo said.

"I will do it" said Given.

"You sleep on the couch if you don't want to go home" Given continued, rubbing Kenzo's cheek gently.

Kenzo held Given's hand and kissed his palm.

Then they look at each other Kenzo hugs Given.

"Did you miss Gaby? You can go to America to see him," said Given, because Kenzo thought he was upset about it.

Kenzo answered nothing and just hugged Given.

"You must love him very much" continued Given.

"No, sometimes I even hate him. And I know that I can't do that" replied Kenzo who surprised Given.

Kenzo let go of his embrace and Given stared in wonder at Kenzo.

"You know? Gaby's mother was my fiancee until she had an affair with my own sister until Gaby was born. That's what makes me hate Gaby sometimes even though Gaby is my niece. Gaby's face is very similar to that of the woman and hopefully not by her nature" Kenzo told Given.

Given is quite shocked by the Kenzo family's internal story which he thinks must have been very painful for Kenzo.
