The Given 31

Kenzo was standing right behind Given and it was a short distance away.

The two men behind them looked slightly forward and Kenzo had an uneasy feeling about the two men.

Then Kenzo whispered in Given's ear.

"You left, I'm right" he whispered.

Given frowned as if understanding what Kenzo meant.

One of the men with a large body seemed to be holding Given's hand but Kenzo held her wrist tightly and banged the man's back against the elevator wall.

BRAK BRAK!!

Given turned to his left and pulled the hand of the man who was about to attack Kenzo and slammed his body on the elevator floor.

BRAK!!

"Who is the owner of this ugly apartment? It's really not safe if men like them have apartment units here" said Kenzo.

"Hey, focus on this man, not his apartment!!!" given protests while stepping on the hands of the man below with his sharp high heels sandals.

"SHIIT!! LET GO!!" yelled the man on the floor.

Kenzo strangled the neck of the other man with his big arms.

The elevator doors opened and Kenzo took the man and threw his body on the floor.

The other man, however, did not dwell when Kenzo lifted him up as well and pushed him outside.

Soon Given called security and the two men were arrested by security.

"Who are they?" given asked because he had never seen the two men around his apartment before.

"We don't know either, Miss. We will investigate" said the security officer.

Then Given left and Kenzo followed him from behind.

"How much is this apartment? Do you need fancy mess for your residence? It doesn't seem safe here" said Kenzo.

"But it's not safe here like it is. The two men escaped security surveillance" Kenzo said as he ripped off his car keys.

"I can handle it very much" said Given.

"Bad days are not on the calendar" replied Kenzo.

"You're worried about me?" ask Given.

"Yes, you're my employee who's pretty important right now. I'll be a fuss at the company if you don't get to work" replied Kenzo.

"Ck," decak Given and get in the car.

Then Kenzo started the engine of his car and then drove quickly to the restaurant according to instructions from Given.

In less than fifteen minutes, they arrived at a fancy restaurant. They get out of the car and Kenzo gives the valet officer the keys.

Then Kenzo walked behind Given who walked first up the stairs.

Given paused for a moment in front of the door and seemed to let out a slow sigh.

Without Given guessing, Kenzo took a hand and brought him inside.

"You pray in front of the door?" ask Kenzo.

"Jerk!!" given whispered.

Kenzo felt a cold sweat on Given's hand and he knew what Given was feeling right now. That was why he held the hand of the beautiful woman.

"There" Given told Kenzo.

Kenzo looked at Given's eyes. Kenzo saw Steven and his wife there.

Then they both walked to Steven's table and Given's smile turned toward Steven and his wife.

"Do I need to act?" kenzo whispered in Given's ear as he walked.

"As much as you can, don't embarrass me or I'll leave your company" Given replied quietly by Kenzo's ear.

Perhaps for a layman, it would look at the two of them like a pair of lovers whispering to each other affectionately, but in reality they were more like a cat and mouse who were always fighting.
