The Indigo Evolution (Silver Alaska)

The Indigo Evolution (Silver Alaska)
My Beloved White Cat

Brakkkkk

The sound came from the open window due to the strong wind coming from Rey's flapping wings. Rey entered through the fifth floor, where it was her favorite spot while contemplating.

A favorite place that will always remind him of his Deborah. Rey removes both wings and puts Deborah on a long, padded swing that she used to lie on while staring at the night sky.

Rey nodded for a moment while looking at Deborah's face. Some of her white mane covered her face.

Rey tries to get rid of it by tucking the manes between her ears.

For a moment Rey thought. Maybe a glass of warm matcha can calm his mind and his heart at this time. War consumes a lot of energy.

Rey left Debora alone up there. He went to the kitchen to make a glass of matcha.

A few minutes later, Deborah opened her eyes. This white-blind girl woke up opening her eyes.

A piece of wind was quite strong in the accompaniment with some dust flying to make himself a little disturbed.

Deborah changed her position to sit. He remembered a little about why he was here.

The sound of footsteps with the distinctive aroma of matcha made him look back. Of course, he finally remembered that a few hours ago they were in Noella's room waiting for her to wake up.

"Are you awake?" Rey asked gently while giving one other glass of matcha to her.

Debora took it and Rey sat down next to her.

"Rest, if you want something call me yes! I will serve you here, after all the headquarters is deserted and we are just the two of us here. I know you're tired!" Said Rey again, sipping her drink.

"Yes, how do you hurt yourself?" Ask Deborah to him.

Deborah turned towards Rey noticing her bruised face. The bloody wound was still there. The smoke of regeneration was slow it proved that his mana was drastically drained.

"Your regeneration is slow, would you mind making the potion for a second?" Debora asked touching Rey's face while looking at her forehead.

"Hey white cat! Look at you too. You don't have to worry about me here, look you're still hurt. My wounds can heal without medicine! But you can't." Rey was obviously with him.

Deborah smiled hearing that. He moved his hand away from Rey. Then lean back and sip the match.

"So Axcel is coming!" Rey makes a sound here explaining what happened during Deborah's sleep.

"Then?" Ask Debora.

"Axcel came, he asked me what happened to Harith until he could die. Then I told him that this was because of my negligence. But she told me that, this is beyond my ability and her. He also told me that, he would explain all the details of the incident to Noella. Then he told me to go take you to headquarters for a break he said!"

Rey to Debora. It was the biggest loss for Rensuar. Their king just fell.

"Then who will replace the Emperor after this Rey?" Ask Deborah to him.

In his heart he was so afraid that Rey would be chosen as his successor. Because Rey is the strongest here.

Deborah was very afraid of it happening. Rey is a suicidal maniac who will do that anytime anywhere as long as she is able to save all her comrades.

Deborah knew there was a sacrifice in war. But sometimes his selfish heart does not want to lose.

Moreover, losing Rey who he loved so much. No, Debora really doesn't want that.

"You!" Answer Rey.

An answer that made Deborah stunned. When she turned to Rey's side, she looked down, and her right hand was Deborah's.

"But I refused! I don't want to see you in grave danger. If it's about you and your life then I'd be selfish, Deborah. You're as important as Syena to me." Obviously Rey.

"Why are you insulting me?" Rey asked in disbelief looking in his direction.

"Because you're stupid! Maniacs don't love life, suicidal hobbies. What if you really died? Then we'll lose you and Harith too. And we'll definitely lose, then bow to that goddamn demon and die. Just once, think about it! Let me think hard about understanding the enemy's strategy, just act." Debora explained the length and width to Rey.

Rey understands all the ramblings is an expression that Deborah is very afraid of losing her.

"White cat, you take it easy! I won't die soon!"

Rey spoke while standing up and slightly lowered her head to briefly kiss the top of Debora's head and left.

Deborah remained silent and was unable to do anything at the time. But he was also surprised at what Rey had done.

The leaflets in his chest were getting tighter. His heart just wanted to jump out of place.

Rey understood if he lingered there after doing that then it was made sure Debora would be embarrassed.

Whereas if Rey goes from there after doing that. Debora would have been very happy and probably scolded Rey for covering up her feelings.

"Crazy Rey!!!" Shouted Debora.

Rey who went down the stairs already knew that. But he only chuckled after hearing that. At this time he walked into his room to pick up clothes there and went into the bathroom.

Back to Debora at the moment. After being satisfied with cursing Rey he was reminded of the reality he found in the history of magic books along with all his colleagues.

Deborah looked at both of her palms. A single tear just fell down. The harsh reality is still there even though they and he's here trying to take care of it.

But when Professor Agasha told them that the prophecy of the Lapu-lapu was bound to happen. Deborah was made sad every time she remembered it.

"Thousand times I tried to help you with my abilities. It won't change anything about your fate. You'll leave me too." Deborah looked at the sky.

In his heart he prayed that destiny could be changed. But the way of the future lies with the Sovereign. Man is only able to walk, try and accept.

____________

Axcel still keeps Noella there. It's been a few hours since Debora and Rey left. Noella still hasn't opened her eyes.

"Ruler, why is the earth able to snatch a guardian. Leonin's a different creature to them. Why is it that our powers are not capable of being used as much as possible here?"

In his heart Axcel tried to ask the Sovereign. To be honest the last time both of his big ears heard the Sovereign speak. It was when he sent Harith to earth.

The ruler was still disappointed as if he was reluctant to tell him the reason behind not being able to make Leonin exert all his strength on earth.

"Ruler, if indeed you are still disappointed in us. So I have the right to obey all the tasks that are still not finished. We cannot refuse the commandment of the Lord. We galactic dwellers will continue to fight to help the humans here."

Axcel said again in his heart. He still hoped the Lord would give an explanation. In between those words in his heart. Axcel when he opened his eyes, he was suddenly unable to.

His body trembled violently feeling one enormous power. And there, he was made happy again. The big soothing sound echoed back.

"Fight is equal to the greatness of man. Because if you use your greatest strength here, then the earth will be destroyed. Fight like the fight of man. Harith and the earth were destined to win. You don't have to worry about that."

The finish of the speech made Axcel again able to open his eyes. When she woke up at the same time Noella also woke up.

"Ruler?" Lirih Noella while looking to the side to see Axcel's whereabouts there.

"Miss Noella, Harith.."

Before Axcel continued his words Noella nodded. That made Axcel stop talking.

"The ruler has explained everything! I know everything!"

Noella answered, her heart may be broken and she loses her love. But when the Sovereign says that the earth and man will prevail and Harith will return. So it makes Noella happy again.
