The Indigo Evolution (Silver Alaska)

The Indigo Evolution (Silver Alaska)
Meeting in the Church

A girl walked towards the church. Hugging his own body with both hands due to the cold weather this morning. The clothes he was wearing were also quite thick.

It's Sunday, it's always been for him coming here every Sunday morning. This long unravel brunettes girl is Aum.

"It's cold! Actually want to also not leave the house if the weather is this kind of! No matter what, I came with noble intentions!" said Aum while still walking towards the Church.

On the front door of the church. Aum opened the door slowly. The congregation there had sat down and chanted what was in the book.

There Aum sat in one of the empty seats. Beside him was a young man who quietly closed his eyes while clenching his hands.

That young man was none other than Elvas. He also comes here every Sunday. When all the prayers were said, Elvas opened his eyes. As he turned his head towards the side he was surprised to see the whereabouts of Aum beside him.

Aum there still closed both of his eyes. He still prayed so fervently there. Elvas smiled while still watching him. The unraveling mane that fell dangling attracted his attention.

Plus, a charming plain face that is enough to make Adam feel at home to pay attention to it for hours.

When Aum opened his eyes, Elvas immediately turned his gaze in the other direction. Aum looked to the side. He was also surprised to see Elvas there.

"Sister Elvas?" lirih Aum to him.

Elvas who pretended not to see him turned his head.

"Well, Aum, huh?" elvas smiled.

Aum nodded extending his right hand to shake for a while. The greeting was warmly welcomed by Elvas.

"I don't know if it's been next to me since brother!" aum told him.

"Sama, I don't know if you've been next to me!" said Elvas while scratching the back of his head that did not itch.

"Sister here alone?" aum asked while looking for the whereabouts of someone who might be Elvas' relatives.

"Yes, I'm alone! Are you alone too?" ask Elvas to her.

Aum nodded in agreement to what Elvas said. Then the two looked back to the front. Both of them quietly listened to the church music that began to echo.

"I come here every Sunday!" elvas told him without looking.

"Me too!" answer Aum.

"For we Muskeeters today have no one. Can we both come here every Sunday, Aum?" elvas asked turned to Aum beside him.

Aum looked up at Elvas. He smiled and then nodded. Honestly, Aum also felt lonely after the earth recovered.

Even if they are former Muskeeters given luxury by the state. But it does not rule out the possibility that they are struck by loneliness.

Because of the war with the devil. Many of their families were killed. Leaving them the owners of the eyes of the supernatural explorer to live alone without the presence of family.

Here Aum became remembered by his colleagues who some of them had married. They seem happy now.

"Oh yeah, what is that?" ask Elvas curiously.

"Yes, we used to be combined in one hostel even if the world was destroyed! However, we still have comrades in arms who are always beside us. Heard all our complaints!" said Aum.

Elvas smiled obliquely hearing that. It was true what Aum said. At least even if the world is destroyed and humans are almost extinct. The warmth is still there.

"You are absolutely right! But the world keeps turning, we won't be in that phase anymore now. It takes many lives and souls to be sacrificed to achieve that. And as a token of gratitude for the blood and lives that died first. The state gives us the Muskeeters a guarantee to death!" elvas.

"Yes you're right! But do not rule out the possibility also we still feel lonely here!" said Aum while touching his chest.

Elvas turned to the side. The truth made him pity. As a result, he pulls Aum closer to him, letting the girl lay her head on his shoulder.

"Sir Elvas!" peekik Aum's.

"You still have a lot of comrades in arms! So don't feel alone here. If you need me, then call or at least call me. I'll accompany you, wherever you go if you ask!" elvas told Aum.

That speech made Aum's heart warm. Apparently there are still people who care about him here. Aum was silent, letting his body stay in that position.

Not only embracing, even Elvas also gently caressed the top of Aum's head. The two of them inside the church enjoyed the hymn in that position.

When their business in the movement is finished. Keduany also get out of there. Aum invites Elvas to eat. There Elvas obeyed. They both went to the restaurant.

It was a cold morning that they both passed. Due to the sweet speech that Elvas made, Aum became a little brave to invite him to accompany him to enjoy the duration of time.

"The food here is delicious!" aum said to Elvas.

Elvas who was sitting before him smiled he nodded. If considered from any side, Aum is very sweet for him.

"Yes, you're right! And you spent three servings of ice cream in cold weather!" elvas told him.

Aum gave his thumbs up to Elvas. He was proud to have spent three servings of ice cream.

"That feels amazing, brother! You should try it next time!" aum told him.

Elvas laughed at that. Aum is five years older than him. Her childishness is clearly still there.

Elvas accidentally saw the corner of Aum's lips. There's ice cream still there. In between, Elvas pointed his finger at Aum.

His thumb rubbed gently the corner of the lip. Try to remove any remaining ice cream left there.

"Eat slowly! Do not order cold food when the weather is cold. The pain is gradual, maybe you could get sick after this! Cut down on cold food huh, Aum!" elvas told her softly.

That pretty polite tone of speech made Aum stunned. He was glued there while staring fixedly at Elvas. For some reason, this young man's charisma was like piercing his heart.

Aum turned his net in the other direction. I don't know what happened to his heart this time. His leaflet there was so strong, it was like he wanted to jump right now his heart.

After spending a long time there. They also go somewhere. They want to spend time until dusk comes he said.
