Chapter 16 The Sacrifice of the Husband Against His Wife and Daughter

"Sister, let Aunt Sinta in. Please let him in!" Said Rani while holding her brother's arm.

Rio did not even care about a woman who was in front of him, but he started to allow that person in when he saw a little girl crying.

"All right! You can come in!"

The barrier was broken. Now Sinta can enter the barrier safely.

While the zombies who were chasing, started pounding the barrier by crashing his body.

After all, he could not bear to see the little girl become a zombie. The little girl reminded Rio of Rani's childhood.

Sinta who had reached the foot of the house, panting with fear.

He was surprised to look behind him.

The zombies could not enter this barrier.

After Sinta felt the situation was safe, she took down her still crying little daughter and tried to calm her down.

Rio walked towards her.

"What's your name little girl?" Rio asked the little girl while stroking his head.

"My name is Marsya Brother." Reply to the little girl with fear while rubbing her eyes. "But.., But.... Dad...."

"Why father?" Rio asked the little girl.

Marsya was still crying and did not answer her question.

After that Rio tried to talk to his mother.

"Can you explain what happened?..." Rio asked Sinta.

Sinta nodded, and....

The Rio House. In House.

Sinta told me what happened to her while she was at home.

All the residents of the house are asleep.

Suddenly someone broke down the door of his house.

Sinta's husband woke up including himself.

Sinta suspects that it was a thief, so she tells her husband to take something as a weapon to repel the thief.

Sinta's husband walked slowly towards the door of the house with a baseball bat held tightly in both hands.

His wife followed him from behind and peeked out the door of his room.

To ascertain whether it was a thief or not, her husband touched the door using his ears.

From there he could hear someone's voice outside his door.

After he opened the door slowly, his intention was to prepare to hit the thief with his baseball bat, but he seemed to find no one to loosen the door.

He advanced out the door and looked left and right around his house from himself standing. Looks like nobody's there.

Since she was already convinced that no one was there, her husband returned to his house and wanted to close the door.

But, suddenly someone who did not know where it came from, bit his arm.

Her husband was shocked and shook his hand to escape the bite.

The zombie slipped from the bite and fell to the floor.

The blood of the bite marks on his arm was on the floor.

Sinta screamed hysterically after seeing the condition.

After that, her husband clasped the stick in his right hand, and replaced the stick with both hands.

Then her husband beat the man out of the door of his house and immediately closed the door tightly.

Unfortunately, after hearing his wife's loud scream and also the smell of blood, suddenly the zombies came to his house and entered using the window of his house.

Sinta ran in fear as she headed for her daughter's room.

There was his daughter sleeping in her bed. Sinta picked up her daughter and carried her to immediately go for help.

After she ran into the living room, her husband was holding the zombie horde with his hands and immediately told her and her daughter to run.

His sleeping daughter woke up and saw her father, screaming and crying in fear.

Sinta ran away from her husband and eventually reached this place.

That was the story explained by Sinta to Rio as well as to everyone who was in this room.

After all, the zombie disaster happened at midnight. Which is where everyone is sleeping in their house.

Sinta cried after telling her story. Meanwhile Rio got up from the sofa and went towards the direction of Marsya who was crying without making a sound.

She wiped the tears with her ring finger, and....

"You're safe now. So you don't have to suffer anymore." Rio said to Sinta as he wiped off Marsya's tears.

"You're a good girl Marsya. In the future, you will definitely grow into a strong girl. For that, you don't have to cry..." Rio's speech to Marsya.

"Yes, brother." Reply Marsya.

He stood back in his position and faced everyone who was in the room.

Everyone is focusing on him.

"You all have heard the story experienced by Sinta itself... The zombies are the biggest enemies of mankind. And trying to fight it is the stupidest decision you've ever made. For that, as long as the zombie disaster strikes, all of you will remain safe if you are in this house. But this house has its own rules. And what makes the rule is me. So, whoever doesn't listen to my orders, better get out of this house. Do you guys understand?"

Everyone nodded in fear hearing the loud tone Rio spoke.
