Chapter 64 Second Floor

About twenty steps he had to pass to reach the second floor. Rio walked slowly through the stairs. Arriving at the sixteen footing, from there he could see the direction in front of him was a horde of zombies looking at him.

"Ohh~ Another bunch of kroco."

The zombies he saw were different from the ones on the first floor. Compared to on the first floor, the zombies on the second floor had a strength of two, no, even three times that of before.

They carried a gun in their hands. Some carried swords and knives, and some carried arrows covered by poison at the ends.

Well, but with such strength, it still could not cover up the fact that the zombie was still weak before him.

After he passed and rested on the 18th step, the zombies from earlier noticed him, after hearing the sound of "Strike!" from inside the room, the Zombies immediately ran towards him.

One of the zombie horde shot an arrow that was already coated by poison towards him, but Rio managed to fend it off using his katana.

Furthermore, some zombies holding weapons charged towards him by means of releasing their weapons towards Rio who was holding back the arrow attacks that were aimed towards him, but in the end Rio dodged the attack by lowering his head then started stabbing the attacking zombie right in the stomach.

"That's pretty dangerous you know."

After he finished stabbing her, Rio kicked the zombie corpse with the aim of releasing the katana prick from his body, then started attacking the other zombies that were beside him.

While he was slashing at some of the zombies that were on his left and behind, the arrows shot back towards him, Rio dodged it and the arrow was stuck in the barrier of the stairs.

"Dead you!" He said, after which point his hand towards the zombie shooter. Magic energy like bullets shot out from his index finger and pierced through the zombie's head.

The zombie that was shot fell to the floor, while Rio started slashing the zombie that was before him.

The barrier that was interfering with his pleasure had been cleared up, so he would enjoy this fight by using a little of his strength. But even so, even though the zombies he was fighting were only low-level, he could not lower his guard to the attacks that were aimed at him.

There was a possibility that this was just a trap considering that the girl controlling the zombie had a great aura from this world creature.

And also, it is likely that the little girl has something to do with the mysterious creature that always watches her.

So for that he cannot lower his vigilance towards the surroundings. After he finished slashing through the many zombies, corpses scattered around the second floor room, exactly one more zombie was left in front of him. Rio slashed the last zombie, then started to put his katana into the sheath that was on his waist.

"Finally it's done too."

"Little girl, I'll give you one last chance to surrender." He said as he stepped closer to the room space occupied by the girl.

After that he stopped right in front of the door of the room the girl was in, and began to hold the doorknob.

After nothing happened, Rio started to open the door of that room slowly.

"Hey, try to think carefully, if-"

Right after half the room door opened, a sudden attack was aimed at him. Fortunately his passive defense skill was active, and the weapon was deflected sounding "TING" Like hitting a hard object like steel.
