Chapter 62 The ambush

The aura inside the house was more concentrated compared to the one outside. Silence instantaneously occurs in all directions so as to make the atmosphere around it feel more gripping.

"It's really fucked up!"

As expected, this was a trap for someone interested in entering into this house.

Rio started to hold his katana, taking the position of the horses like a professional slayer. He did not escape, he put his attention towards the two doors in front of him.

From the direction where he was, he could see there were zombies behind both doors that were preparing to attack him.

He's been cornered one way. Rio tried to get out by pulling the doorknob that was behind him, but the result was nil.

There were many ways that he could get out of this place, one of which he could use a bit of his strength to slash at the door that was behind him, so he could get out easily. But he did not choose that way, but rather faced his opponent using his katana.

Rio tightened his grasp, while the two doors that were in front of him started to open.

A swarm of zombies came from the second direction across the door in front of him followed by the girl behind him.

Rio was still in his place. At this moment he was waiting for the right time for those zombies to enter the range of his sword.

When the girl who led the zombie horde stepped faster to lead the army, she began to show a different appearance than before.

Revealing a sinister-looking face with both of his canines, the nails on all of his extremely long fingers were like someone who was already preparing to attack.

While looking at the girl's gaze that was starting to get closer in being followed by the herd of zombies that were behind her, Rio started to prepare to attack.

"Not yet.....,"

"Now.... Time to!"

He slashed at the girl and a horde of zombies using his katana.

The bodies of the girl as well as those of the zombies were split into two.

The first row had been slashed using his katana, but not all of the zombies he managed to slash. There were still a lot of zombies behind him that started attacking him.

For that reason Rio started to take the stance of the horses and started attacking for the second time.

*Slash*

The second row has been cleared. But there were still a lot of zombies coming through those two doors.

"Tch... It's very troublesome." He muttered while slashing at the zombies.

He could have used his power, but if he did that, there was a risk he had to take.

Is correct. If he had just poured a little bit of his magic energy into his katana and started slashing towards that bunch of zombies, he could have ended it with a single strike. But the terrain in this place is very unlikely if he does that. If he did that then there was a chance that this house would be split into two parts.

He can't do that, but on the other hand he can't continue like this either. Moreover, this narrow room made it unable to slash freely.

The only way is to find the person who controls these zombies.

After he thought for a moment about the incident earlier, he began to look towards the corpse of the girl he had just slashed.

"He's just a clone?"

If the girl he had just slashed was just a clone, what could be possible if her main body was upstairs?

If so, it was likely that girl who controlled this many zombies.
