Inside the doctor Joshua's room. Two men look at each other.
“Tell me, I will listen as badly as you have to be honest,” Denny is still staring fixedly at a man of his age in front of him.
“Tonight will be very long for a child of Saka's age, through the peak of the coma crisis,” Joshua raised both hands grasping him put on the table. Affirming the serious attitude that flows in speech illustrates the problems faced.
“I mean, please explain I don't understand,” Denny can't digest Joshua's words.
“Mr Denny, I am still monitoring the progress of the results of the operation that has been done. The tumor was successfully removed, but another problem arose because the impact experienced pressed the tumor into the brain causing swelling. This results in fluid in the brain, the patient becomes comatose. I also sucked up the liquid. We wait for the swelling to go away so that the brain returns to normal. But..” Joshua again hangs the next sentence, himself as if looking for strength in a pair of eyes fixed staring to hear his words.
“But, what doctor?” Quickly say?” Denny's heart raced, fear plagued him.
“If within twelve hours the swelling does not change, then the patient must be operated. Removing fluid that re-inundates the brain. But it is not possible to do, it will be very fatal considering the age of the patient is still underage. His body is unable to accept the operation in the adjacent time.” Joshua explained as simply as possible so that the interlocutor is looking tense to understand the condition he is experiencing.
“So what to do?” Denny hopes there is another way to work on his son's recovery.
“We can only wait and pray, sir,”
“Waiting for you to say? You told me to wait, and my son is dying. You're a doctor, you have to find a way to save him,” Denny's voice evaporates into the room, as soon as his hand hits the table hard.
“Master, relax. I'm a doctor, it's my job to try to save patients. But healing is not in my hands. I have no power to heal patients, all of us leave to God. We can only try, but God has power. Pray sir, may the Lord listen to your request.” Joshua held Denny's hand, staring fixedly at the flushed face holding back the anger. Trying to touch her heart to calm down.
Clear water dripping accompanied Denny's heartache. His chest was narrow something squeezed him heavily there.
“Prayer say? I always pray to God. To this day, I still place my faith in Him. But, what sins have I committed, why is my life line always in sorrow?” Denny pulled out a hand and covered his face while speaking softly.
“Master, we don't know, the way God gave his affection. Do not despair, whatever is given, God knows best for us.”
“I'm afraid of losing my son doctor. I just met him, he doesn't know that I'm his father.” Denny grew more and more in sadness and slapped his face on the table with his arms. He could not control the sad feelings that surrounded him.
“Master, be patient.” Joshua stood up and approached Denny and patted his back giving support.
In a separate room, a sad face was attached to the glass wall. Dropping the gaze on the small body befriended various medical equipment.
“Hen, I'm his mother. Why am I not allowed to see my own son?” The voice was slow but clearly audible.
“Jes, let them try their best to take care of him now. When the time comes, we will be allowed to enter,” Hendrik stands behind Jesika and both his hands hold his shoulders.
“I want to be with her, she must be scared and lonely.” The frail Jesika saw her son lying helplessly. Close but he couldn't embrace it.
“Jes, Saka knows, we're with him. Right now, you have to be strong, because he will be sad if you keep crying.”
“Patience, we pray, he will soon realize,” Hendrik's voice hoarse, his two black beads inundated with water that slowly spilled out.
From a distance, slowly approaching, a pair of eyes observed the romantic scene that should have belonged to him. Yes, the girl who should be in the arms right now, has the support of her. But, it didn't happen. He could only watch and add pain to the gaping wound.
Now his feet, have stood parallel to the couple who were unaware of his presence. His eyes were sharp wanting to slash the hand of the man who gently stroked his girl's head.
“You guys don't dirty my eyes, right now I still haven't acted with the drama you created. So, keep the attitude of the two of you in front of me,” Denny's voice is heavy by giving threatening pressure.
Jesika instantly broke away from Hendrik's embrace. He was surprised to hear a voice coming from Denny who had been standing right in front of him. Hendrik also threw a glance, not to be outdone to return the sharp gaze of the eyes of the lion who was ready to pounce on him at any time.
“You, still here? You better go. It's all your fault, it won't happen if you stay away from us. You hear that?” Jesika hysterically, out of control said a word that just flowed from her tiny lips.
Denny returns, accepts the rejection and hears the word piercing her heart.
Hendrik embraces and pulls Jesika's body away from Denny, he doesn't want Jesika to get hysterical.
Denny could only send Jesika away with a disappointed look wrapped in sadness.
“Beautiful, how you hate to see my face? What is my fault, I should be the one who should be angry, because you lied to me,” Denny said in his heart with lips that can not speak.
His eyes, pulled towards the body of a little boy who was close but felt far away because it was limited to a glass wall.
Iqbal walked hand in hand with Dania, approaching Denny. One hand carried a bag of food.
“Den, I bought you food, eat it, you last just dinner, and it's almost night.” Iqbal thrusting bag of food.
“I'm not hungry, Bal. You're the one who ate,” Denny spoke without taking his eyes off.
“Don't be like this, you also have to take care of your health. Remember, the responsibility you bear. Many people and families depend on you.” Iqbal tries to persuade Denny, he doesn't want his best friend to hurt him back like he did ten years ago.
“I can be responsible to thousands of people, but the person I love, I can't afford. What kind of man am I Bal, unable to protect the people I love?”
“Den, now is not the time to blame yourself. You see in front of you, he's close. You have to be strong and be able to reach for it,”
Dania tugged at Iqbal's hand, not understanding what the two men were talking about right now. They did not pay attention to him, he wanted to go home to the hotel immediately, because all day he only saw the atmosphere of the hospital. She had already found her papa, also tired and wanted to sleep.
Iqbal glanced at Dania who was looking at him full of question marks. A smile streaked across Iqbal's lips as if giving an answer to a question drawn on Dania's face.
