Arend returned to his room after Kama, his best friend and cousin, returned home.

The man threw his body onto the bed, lying on his back with eyes glaring at the ceiling of his room. Yes, if to be honest, there is pain approaching his heart, if considering the girl he had hoped to return the feeling, now married to his twin brother. Arend smiled faintly considering how he planned everything so that Calista and Arick could get married.

The flashback

Arend was so happy, once the date of his marriage and Calista had been set. What makes her most happy is when her little girl agrees to marry him, even though she knows that Calista's feelings are still for her twin brother Arick.

There was one thing that stuck in his heart when he remembered his relationship with Arick, very far lately, because he felt that Arick was very cruel to Calista. Arick is always cold to Calista, and always puts out words that make Calista sad and it is not uncommon to make the woman cry.

"Can you stay away from me? I'm really worried that you're constantly approaching me. You realize that you have made my days like having a lot of debt, and being chased by debt collectors? I really don't feel comfortable knowing. Please stay away from me, and never expect to marry me because I will never marry you, I don't like a woman like you who has no shame, " those are some of the hurtful words that come from Arick's mouth on Calista that make him angry and even often almost hit Arick.

"I'm getting married to Calista so I shouldn't have to go back to Arick. I have to invite him to make peace," Arend's inner voice nodded his head.

With a definite step he walked towards Arick's room which he knew must be in there. So close to his twin brother's room, he overheard a voice talking inside, because it happened that the door of his room was not closed completely. Arend was originally willing to go straight in, but he dampened his steps when he heard them say his name.

"Rick, Arend and Calista are getting married soon, aren't you really feeling sad?" from his voice, Arend knew that it was Kama's voice. Kama is a year old under them, but never calls herself and Arick, Big Brother.

"sad? why am I sad? it's just that I'm so happy that Arend is finally able to marry Calista" Arick replied.

"Are you sure? why do I feel like you are sad? you love Calista too, right?" guess Kama to the point.

"You're lying, Rick. We've known each other from our little ones and I can see from your eyes that you actually have feelings for Calista. Aye right?" insist Kama, ask Arick to be honest.

"Yes, I do love him, but what can I do? Arend loves her too, right? As a brother, should I not give up? I don't want to see my own brother sad in the midst of my happiness."

Because of Kama's constant urgency, Arick finally subconsciously revealed his heart.

"You know, every time I've been cold and tight with Calista, I feel so guilty, you know. But I was thinking, just in that way that Calista would stay away from me and realize, only Arend was there for her" Arick said with a sad face. Arend could see clearly, the look on Arick's sad face from where he was standing.

"But, do you think the attitude you've been showing all along, can change Calista's feelings? I don't think so. He still loves you, Rick.

Arick smiled faintly. The man is seen taking a deep breath, then exhaling back into the air quite long.

"I know that. That's why I decided, after they got married, I would move abroad for a while, so that I would never meet them both. So that the two of them can spend time together, and Calista can learn to love Arend. Because after I thought, if I could still meet the two of them, Calista would be hard-pressed to open her heart to Arend, Kam."

Arend was stunned, standing glued to his place. There is guilt that arises when she remembers how she was angry at Arick, swearing at him in a harsh word, whenever she, sees Calista crying because of her twin brother.

"It turns out this is the reason why you never returned my swearing, Rick. It turns out that you deliberately did evil things to Calista, to bring me closer to her. You sacrifice your feelings to see me happy. It turns out that I was the one who was your barrier to being united all this time." Arend's inner self as he twisted his body, stepped out of Arick's room.
