CHAPTER 78 - Arcan Anxiety

The atmosphere feels cold. The eyes that stared at each other expressionlessly.

"Drink, Ka." Adam's rose melted the atmosphere. After facing Arka, Adam took him to a cafe. He would talk to the man with four eyes.

"It's been a long time"

"Next week I'll get married." Sela Ark fast. Adam knew about his wedding.

"I'm going to marry Nara." Arka shows her serious face.

Adam's heart was beginning to be unhappy to hear it.

"I'm going to marry Nara, your ex-wife." Arka continued to clarify.

Adam tried to calm down. He was confused as to what to respond to. The heat in his heart started to spread.

"You and Nara? You guys getting married?" Adam made sure to come back.

"Yes. We're getting married."

"Why? Why should he? Are there no other women, Arka!" Adam raised his voice. Of all the women, why his ex-wife?

"He's..." Adam took his breath.

"She's a barren woman. You know why I divorced her, don't you?!" Adam reminded Arka, of the lack of Nara. Which made him divorce the woman.

"I don't care about any of that. All I know is I love her so much." Arka confirmed his words.

"Arka, you're out of your mind." There is a sense of unwillingness Nara to marry his friend.

"I'm so sane and sober, Adam. If you have time come to our wedding."

"Arca... You'll regret marrying her!" Adam warned.

"I'm sorry or not, it has nothing to do with you." Arka dipped a drink on the table.

"Are you really after him?" Adam asked with displeased eyes. "You know I want to go back to her and you're gonna marry her instead? Are you my friend?"

Arka breathed out slowly. Adam brought their friendship.

"You've been divorced for a long time. And it's impossible to get back together again."

"You want to take it from me?" Adam closed his eyes.

"Nara and you are divorced. I didn't take it from anyone. Nara's status is on its own. And I deserve to have it." Arka looked at Adam.

"He's still mine!!!"

"Him and I are getting married. He's already picked me. She's mine."

"You..." Adam massaged his temple. Arka really pissed him off.

"Don't even think about trying to get Nara back." Arka got up from her seat and stepped foot after saying that.

"I will reclaim what was once mine." Adam's words made Arka's footsteps stop.

"And I will not let go of what is mine." Arka set foot leaving her friend.

Adam squeezed his hand. Arka is getting married to Nara. What was Arka expecting with the woman who could not give the offspring? Was Arka just playing around with Nara?

Arka drove her car across the night road. He was upset to remember what Adam said.

'I'm not gonna let go. Nara's mine!'

Arka got out of the car and into the house. She approached her mother who was in the kitchen.

"Mom." Call her.

"Hm." The middle-aged woman replied as she poured water into the glass.

"Mom, speed up our marriage." Pinta Arka with a face. He was afraid, Adam really became their hindrance.

"where can. Just wait until next week you can't." Cibir Mommy saw the impatient son.

"The reception leaves it next week. I'll be tomorrow, Mom." Melas Arka is back. If he and Nara had gotten along, Adam could not have taken Nara back.

"God!!! it was all with the reception. What the hell are you?"

"That's Mom..." Wry-faced arcs.

Laughter echoed in the kitchen. Mommy laughed out loud hearing the Ark's story. Arka's fear about her ex Nara.

"Mom!!!" Arka was upset Mommy even laughed over her anxiety.

"What are you afraid of Nara's ex-husband? Their feelings? Mommy believes that as a woman, Nara has no feelings for her. Who would love a man who has hurt!" Obviously Mommy calms the Arka.

"But, Mom..." Arka is still stricken with uncertain anxiety.

"You're afraid Adam came and canceled your marriage? He burned down the wedding hall or kidnapped your bride?" Mommy shook her head in disbelief.

"That's not gonna happen!" Say Mommy with a meaningful smile.

"Why is Mommy sure?" Tanya Arka was suspicious.

"You just calm down!!!" Mommy stroked the Ark's head fondly. His son will soon marry the woman he loves. Mommy has to make sure no one is going to ruin her son's marriage.

'I have to see Nara!' Adam drives his car to Nara's house.

Adam pulled the car over on the side of the road, as his phone rang. He saw his boss calling.

"Hello, sir."

Before long, Adam got home and was busy stuffing his clothes into a suitcase.

"Why sudden?" Ask Mama to help fold Adam's clothes.

"There's work I have to take care of out of town, Ma. I'm Mario, Ma. Please take care of him while I'm gone." Adam Say.

Mama nodded slowly.

"Ma, please don't give Mario to Yola. Don't let him meet my son." Adam reminded. He does not want to go home from the service outside the city, Mario has been with Yola.

'Only 3 days. I still have time to see Nara!' Adam will finish his work. After that, he took care of Nara.

Adam went to his mother and sisters. Not to forget about his son either.

"Baby boy, Papa go first huh. Coming home... Papa bought a lot of toys for Mario." Adam hugged the child tightly.

"Pa-w." Mario said with a smile.

Adam smiled as he stroked Mario's head fondly. Adam was gone soon.

While at the house of Arka. Looks like Mommy's on the phone.

"... Thank you very much, sir." Mommy said with a happy smile.

"About you." Mommy fusses on Arka's ears. "New demon? Your mommy still loves your late daddy so much."

"Yes, if Mommy wants to get married again, that's okay."

"No!!!" Scream Mommy's pissed.

"Don't be angry, Mom." Arka hugged Mommy. "Arka dear Mommy. I'm sure daddy would agree that Mommy would marry again."

"Oh, Mom!!!" Arka grimaces, her stomach gets stamped Mommy.

"Your Daddy can't be replaced at any time."

Arka nodded. After his Daddy died, Mommy was never close to any man. Mommy is very loyal and still loves her Daddy very much.

"Already ah, you make Mommy miss Daddy alone." Mommy held back her teary eyes. "Your Daddy must be happy, seeing that his son will marry the woman he loves..."

"Surely Mom. I miss Daddy..."
