Chapter 49

They gathered at the cinema tonight. The clock shows at 20:30 when they arrive.

"We bought some popcorn!" Take Adel.

"Let me be the same Mr. Reyhan who bought it. You just wait inside" Tomi said. He then asked Reyhan to buy popcorn.

"Tom, are you dating Clara?"

Tomi who was asked like that became confused, but he still answered her.

"Not sir"

"But you guys look close" Reyhan asked. He then paid for his popcorn and walked towards the studio. Tom followed behind her.

"We're close, sir, but we're not dating" said Tomi.

"Don't call me 'sir' if it's out of business hours. You're older than me" Reyhan said.

"Yes, Reyhan"

They both sat in the audience seats. Reyhan was flanked by two women, Adel and Clara.

The faces of Clara and Adel look impatient waiting for the film, in contrast to Reyhan and Tomi who look tense.

The film tells the story of a family who moves into a former homicide house. Unfortunately, the villagers kept the tragedy a secret. Terror begins at night.

Reyhan's face stiffened as a black hand crept up onto the boy's bed and held his leg. Reyhan looked increasingly frightened until he unconsciously grasped Clara's hand tightly.

"Em, what's holding my leg? The hand? Aww, sick! Release, release! Unhand me! mommy, help me! Aaaaah!!"

"Damahi!!!"

Clara looked at Reyhan, she knew Reyhan was very afraid of ghosts. He approached Reyhan.

"Close his eyes, sir" Clara whispered.

Reyhan immediately closed his eyes while his hand was still clasping Clara's hand involuntarily.

Adel is too busy with popcorn and movies being played that he doesn't know what's going on next door. Tomi who was initially frightened even became curious in the middle of the story.

Reyhan continued to close his eyes until the atmosphere arrived silent to make him curious. Her brain and heart are at war between keeping her eyes closed or opening them. He finally opened his eyes because he was so curious.

"Aarrgh, what is it?! Fucking demon! let's just get out! Aaaa!!! come outside!"

Reyhan immediately screamed as the scene where a ghost full of blood with a broken face appeared coinciding with him opening his eyes.

"Hihihihihihihih, you can't run away!" Kuntilanak in the movie. His voice filled the studio.

"Gue's coming out! Aarrghs! Goddamnit! Take me out!" Reyhan hid his face on Clara's shoulder and kept screaming.

His behavior irritated the other audience and told him to come out.

"Del, take Mr. Reyhan out" Clara said trying to remove Reyhan's hand from his arm.

"No, I'm yelling again" Pinta Adel. Tomi also shook her head because she was curious about the continuation of the story, although she more often covered her face with popcorn spots.

It was Clara who brought Reyhan out. He sat Reyhan in a chair and bought water and gave it to Reyhan.

Reyhan looks really scared. His face was pale with cold sweat, his eyes were also blank.

"Sir Reyhan, why are you so scared of ghosts? No wonder, people are afraid of ghosts. But not so much"

Reyhan looks calmer now. He looked at Clara and answered her question.

"I used to be 5 years old. Ortu I took a look at the cinema. Unfortunately, they entered the studio wrong. The movie that was filmed was a horror movie. I was scared half to death. Since then I have been afraid of ghosts"

"It's natural, but in the past Mr. Reyhan would often go to the back shed of the school that is famous for being haunted, usually only" said Clara.

"It's normal because I don't see ghosts there" Reyhan said.

"Ra, can you just wait here?" Pinta Reyhan's.

Clara was worried, she wanted to watch the movie but she couldn't possibly leave Reyhan in this state either.

He was afraid it would happen again and Reyhan would accuse him of such a thing. So he let Reyhan sleep on his shoulder. Unknowingly he too fell asleep, his head leaning against Reyhan's head.

Minutes passed and the movie was finally finished. Tomi and Adel come out and find Clara and Reyhan sleeping in a chair

"Sir Reyhan, get up" Adel said shaking Reyhan's shoulder. He was a little jealous of their sleeping position.

Reyhan blinked his eyes. "Em, is the movie finished?" Ask with a typical sound of people waking up.

"Sister, let's go home"

Reyhan stood up from his seat. He saw Clara still asleep.

He bowed his body and patted Clara's cheek gently. "Ra, wakeup. Do you want to sleep here all night?"

Adel and Tomi look at each other confused with Reyhan's behavior.

"Sir Reyhan what's wrong?" Ask Adel.

Clara woke up from her sleep, she was surprised Reyhan was in front of her with a fairly close distance.

Reyhan who realized immediately corrected his position. "Son, I don't do anything"

A few days later. Clara was resting in the office after she finished her work. It just so happened that today Adel came, so he had a chat. He and Adel have something in common in some ways, it makes them close friends.

"Sister, the day after tomorrow there will be another exciting movie. We watch yuk, all ajakin brother Reyhan, hahaha" Adel said laughing while glancing at Reyhan.

"Are you sure you want to take Rey? I don't see any more movies" Clara said, laughing.

Clara looked confused to answer. There's no way he's telling the truth.

"Sister also looks close to Reyhan. Did you guys know each other before?"

"Gue knows Clara to my family. As a secretary, he should know who my family is. And did we know each other before .. the answer is no" Reyhan said.

Clara breathes a sigh of relief. Luckily Reyhan's words were able to make Adel believe.

"Your rest time is over. Go back to work or I'll fire you guys for talking bad things about me" Reyhan said.

Clara and Adel soon returned to work.
