The next day, the company is back in the fray with new rumors and as usual those rumors are always related to Reyhan. And clearly, it was King and Anton who made the rumors.

The shareholders and the board of directors held a meeting, again. This month they held more than twice just to discuss rumors about Reyhan that are not necessarily true. Instead of helping their boss to be free from the rumors, they even further cornered him.

And this time, the rumors that appeared among the public really made Reyhan furious. Who dares to uncover the secret that he and his family have been silent about?.. The secret is that Reyhan and Clara have had a relationship in the past.

Even in online news, there are those who deliberately add some stories there. Some say if Clara returns to seize Reyhan from her fiance, some say that Reyhan and Clara do have a relationship and deliberately cover her from the public. Reyhan has a mistress who is his own secretary and some even say if they already have children out of wedlock. "Well, you're not satisfied to have this company destroyed. What else is this? The CEO's secretary of savings? The engaged CEO is playing crazy with his secretary?" Anton threw the newspaper with the title he mentioned earlier. He stared cynically at Reyhan then continued his words.

"I'm lazy to scold you. You will definitely not listen to me and will continue to do something that will result in rumors among the public. So, please explain yourself what this all means" Anton then sat in his chair.

Reyhan took his breath first before making a speech in front of the meeting members.

"I apologized for continuing to trouble the company as well as you. I also don't know why the end of this many unpleasant rumors about me. I will clarify all those rumors so that you understand and do not blame me anymore...

"The first rumors about hotels being used for prostitution and drug dealing. It was done and proved not to be me. But my best friend who investigated him had interrogated the manager and he recorded everything the manager said.." Reyhan then played a recording of the voice that Dimas had sent him.

Anton looks excited when the manager of the hotel says if he was the one who ordered it.

The second rumor is that I beat Mr. Gilbert because he refused my cooperation. The story is clearly not like that.. It's actual cctv footage..."

'Does he know that I sent Gilbert?'

'Luckily I asked Nio to hack into Gilbert's house cctv. Do you think I'll just shut up when you want to take me down?' Inner Reyhan.

"And about this third rumor.." Reyhan was silent, he looked at Clara who was sitting not far from him.

"I'm sorry, I honestly admit these rumors are true.."

The members of the meeting began to gossip when they heard Reyhan's words. Clara lowered her head, Reza could only sigh deeply, Reyhan prepared to be ready to continue his words.

"We have had relationships in the past. Clara was my ex-boyfriend five years ago. At first I didn't know she was my new secretary because I left everything to Tomi. I only found out when I got back from out of town. Since we no longer have any relationship, I still hired him as my secretary. So can I confirm that the news was intentionally in more ways to bring me down. Our relationship was both just a secretary and CEO, nothing more" Reyhan kept staring at Clara as he spoke.

"I think I have had enough of this explanation. If you don't believe it, it's up to you. If there is any question please ask" One man raised his hand and that man is the King. Reyhan invited the King to ask.

"Even if there is no relationship, it cannot be denied if the sense is still there. If there is no one, who can guarantee if you do not fall back in love. What if you come back to like it and suddenly cancel your wedding which is only 5 days away?"

"I'll guarantee myself that it won't happen. If that happens, then I give up the CEO position that day" Reyhan said. Seeing that no one else wanted to ask, Reyhan then ended the meeting.

"I knew I had to learn more, pah. But I'm not so stupid as to let the person who made the rumors about me go free. I promise to prove that I deserve to be CEO of Setya, the company that opah built" Reyhan told Reza as they stayed alone in the room.

"I knew. Keep this company good good" Reza patted his son's shoulder then left his leave.

When Reyhan returned to his room. He sees Adel and Clara arguing.

"This is really, brother?! My brother lied to me all along! Brother said there was no connection with Reyhan's brother. Turns out you guys were ex-girlfriends at High School. So all this time I was right, if you guys were hiding your relationship in front of me!"

"Adel, listen to my explanation. I'm sorry for not being honest from the start. But really, I don't have anything to do with Reyhan now. We're just coworkers" Clara tries to explain to Adel the truth, but Adel won't listen to her.

"Allah! You usually just lie to me. You hypocrite! You deliberately took Reyhan's brother and snatched him from me! Is it hard to admit it?!" Adel said cynically.

"Enough!" Reyhan walked over to the two women.

"Don't blame Clara. It's all my fault. If you want to be angry, be angry with me"

An MC then immediately spoke. "The shares owned by Mr. Reyhan is 15% plus the shares of Mr. Reza, Bu Widya, then the entire shares owned by Mr. Reyhan is 30%"

"The shares owned by Mr. Raja are 5% plus the shares of Mr. Arnold, Ms. Risa and Mr. Anton, then the shares owned by Mr. Raja are 35%"

'Why only my family shares? Is Vizah..' The king looked at the smiling Vizah in his chair.

"In that way, it was decided Mr. King was the new leader of the company" All the members of the meeting immediately applauded when the MC said that.

"I'll give Reyhan my share of 5%" Vizah said.

"Sorry I'm late. I. I'll give my shares to Reyhan's brother 7%"

Hearing that the MC immediately said that Reyhan was the winner in the election with a stake of 42%.

Reyhan breathed a sigh of relief as it turned out that he was able to defeat the King. Both of his parents immediately approached him and congratulated him.

"Thank you ma, pa" Reyhan hugged his parents. Arnold and Risa also congratulated Reyhan.

"Goodbye" Adel then approached Reyhan and immediately hugged him.

'What's wrong with him? Isn't he going to cancel our wedding?' Inner Reyhan when Adel suddenly hugged her.

Clara did not dare to approach Reyhan because the man's family was there. Adel, who was with Reyhan, made him choose to leave the meeting room.

"Maybe it's like this at last. I have to let Reyhan go with Adel. I have to live my life and him with his. I'll be resigning in a moment" Clara stared at the letter of application for quitting the job in her hand.
