Chapter 16 May You Be Calm On Her Side

Daniel and Jason are immediately rushed to the hospital, Asha also accompanies them along with Daniel and Jason's men. She was so shocked by all this, she cried all the way.

"It's better that you also get checked, it looks like your leg is also injured" said a young doctor.

"I'm fine, please save them both" Asha refused.

"They're being handled, I hope you'll be checked while you wait for them, too,"

"Alright," he finally agreed after thinking for a while.

The doctor took Asha into his room, he immediately saw the wound on Asha's leg.

"There's nothing to worry about, it's just sprained. I've treated it and given an elastic bandage, please rest for about two days" said the doctor.

"Thank you, Doc," Asha replied.

As he walked out of the room many nurses were running around, and Daniel and Jason were following them. Asha's feeling became uneasy, she immediately pulled one of the nurses running around.

"What's Sus, why are so many people running around?" ask Asha astonished.

"The two men who were shot were critical" the nurse replied and hurried away.

Asha's feelings became erratic hearing the nurse's answer earlier. He could only pray that they both survived. Asha stepped slowly towards the operating room.

"Innalillahi wainnalillahi rojiun," said some nurses make Asha's eyes rounded.

With his feet still hurting he immediately ran up to them.

"Who died, Sus?" ask Asha to worry.

"You're friends of the two men who were shot earlier, yeah, sorry your two friends weren't helped, they lost too much blood. We also defend our condolences" replied the sister.

"Where are they, Sus?" asha asked unable to stem her cries.

"Prophey ma'am, they've been taken to the morgue,"

"Thank you,"

Asha immediately went to the mortuary to see the two of them for the last time. He was accompanied by officers to see their bodies. In his absence slowly the white cloth covering their bodies, the faces of the two looked pale. Asha weeps for the swift departure of the two, Jason and Daniel lose their lives due to the flames of revenge between them.

Asha is new to know him, but their brief togetherness is actually able to make both of them better. No human being is entirely born evil, there must be a speck of goodness in the heart of every human being. Asha immediately closed the white cloth back after being satisfied to look at the faces of the two men who claimed to like and even love her. He immediately returned to the waiting room and continued to cry.

"Asha, what happened son? Where's my son, Jason?" ask Samantha's new mom.

Asha immediately hugged the woman and cried out. Samantha gently rubbed Asha's back, trying to calm her down. After he calmed down, he let go of his embrace and stared fixedly at the woman who loved his son so much.

"I'm sorry Mom, she's gone,"

Asha was finally able to say after gathering all her energy.

"What do you mean?"

"Mother's son is calm by her side, mother should be strong huh,"

"Sus, please Sus," call Clara.

The nurse immediately helped Samantha. Clara accompanied the woman by his side. He heard a voice that was familiar to him. After confirming that Samantha was resting, Asha immediately exited the room.

"Bella, Bang Jimmy," Asha immediately hugged Bella, her tears spilling back.

"Are you okay, Asha?" ask Jimmy.

"I'm fine, but they're both gone" Asha replied with tears.

They tried to calm Asha down and comfort her. They told Asha to sit down because her legs looked hurt. Bella hugged Asha, they got late in that miserable atmosphere. The doctor said if the bodies of both are ready to be brought, just wait for the family.

"Bu Samantha was inside, she fainted when she found out Jason was gone. If Daniel I don't know where to call his family, try to get his men to contact his family" Asha said.

That night, mourning enveloped the extended family of Daniel and Jason. They agreed to immediately bury his body that night. Asha attended Jason's funeral to accompany Samantha, so she could not attend Daniel's funeral.

After all the events are over and Samantha's mom is with her family, Asha returns home. The two families did not take the matter to the legal track and settled it in a familial manner. Asha had a big hand in reconciling the two sides. He told everything he knew to their families, eventually both families could get excited about this incident.

Jimmy and Bella immediately drive Asha home. Along the way they were just silent and dissolved in their respective thoughts.

"Thank you for taking me home" Asha said.

"Yes, you need to get some rest. While there is no need to work, we do not know also until when the photo shoot of this product will run again, because Samantha ma'am must also still grieve.you wait for news," replied Jimmy.

Asha simply nodded and hugged Bella back.

"Then why are you sad, son?"

Asha silently did not answer, she sat down in front of her mother.

"Mother is not pushy, if you do not want to tell a story," added his mother softly.

"The owner of the jewelry company that contracted me as well as someone I know today passed away Mother, they lost their lives due to revenge" Asha said.

"Innalillahi wainnalillahi rojiun, may they be quiet by his side, amen,"

Ms. Aida prayed for them.

"Revenge will never end well, that's why you choose to forget the past and open a new page. Sincere is better than endless heartache,"

Asha agreed with his mother's words, he had no energy to speak. His soul and body were so tired, he immediately said goodbye to clean up. When he finished he immediately lay on the mattress, he chose to sleep alone in the next room because he did not want to make his sister disturbed.

The incident from the time Jason picked him up for work this morning, until the scene of the shootout was so attached to his memory, especially when he saw the two bodies made him very sad. He is new to both, but knowing that they actually have a good side makes him feel like he has lost them. There were no tears coming back to wet his cheeks.
