Chapter 18 in Labrak

Reno tries to call his wife's number, connected but not picked up. He decided to explain through wa's message for his wife to read.

[Honey it's my office friend, we have nothing to do. Don't get me wrong, please pick up my phone so I can explain.]

The message wa sent, read but not returned in reply. one minute, five minutes until the break time is over his wife has not yet replied. Reno decides to call his wife back, but is not picked up. He was really agitated, just now that Kia had crushed all his hopes now that his wife found out about his closeness to Kia all this time.

[Honey say something, give me a chance to explain all this. For the sake of our child, do not listen to anyone who wants to complain about us, maybe he is just jealous of the happiness of our family.]

Again, just read it. Since the leader told him to finish the report immediately, he focused on finishing it first, so that he would contact his wife again.

When he was about to submit a report, he saw Kia who was not serving customers. He immediately approached her, but the girl chose indifferently and did not care about Reno's presence.

"Yes, but please be professional. Never involve feelings in our work, Mr. Reno," Kia puts emphasis on his call to the boss.

"Reno, where's the report," the director shouted from the second floor.

"Yes sir, I'll be there right away," Reno rushed to the director's room.

At around 14.00 customers in Kia's office were rame once, Kia served all customers well. He was so friendly that the customers were satisfied. Suddenly there was the voice of a woman who was noisy with security. The staff tried to mediate.

"I'm Reno's legal wife who works here, I don't accept she's cheating on him with her own employees. I want to meet them, they both need to be fired immediately" the woman shouted.

The woman continued to babble even though the child she was carrying started crying out of fear. Security brought it into the room so as not to be a spectacle of customers who are still queuing up. After they heard the woman's confession, and showed a photo of Kia and Reno together they finally understood the problem. Kia and Reno were immediately summoned to the room.

Reno is shocked to see the presence of his wife and son in his office. His face bowed in shame not daring to look at anyone in the room. But Kia looks calmer, even though she knows in front of him is Reno's wife and child.

"You're rude, how dare you cheat with this girl. I have sacrificed my body for you, so much so that you betrayed our marriage" Reno's wife said, pointing at her husband's face.

"Honey this is not what you imagine, we are just coworkers" Reno said.

"You don't just meet at the office, you even take her to the cafe. You think I'm so stupid as to believe your reason" Reno's wife said.

"Calm down, ma'am, let's finish this all right. Reno and Kia are my employees, I'll crack down on them if they're wrong,"

"Try Kia, you explain everything so that there is no misunderstanding" said the Director.

"Good, Sir. I have not had a chance to get into a relationship with Mr. Reno, even this afternoon I decided to stay away from him and consider him to be just friends and colleagues. Mr. Reno did express his feelings but I have not accepted them because I am still not sure. I don't know if he still has a wife and even children because he confessed to me as a widower" Kia explained frankly.

Kia does decide not to continue her idea of destroying Reno's marriage, as she remembers her brother's words. I don't know who reported all Reno's actions to his wife so this woman came to the office and made a riot.

"So it's all clear, ma'am, they didn't cheat even if Mom's husband had that intention,"

"You must once confess to the widower, do you not at all consider the presence of me and our daughter. You're evil, Mas,"

Reno's wife began to cry, she did not expect her husband to be so cruel. For the sake of the man he was willing to leave his family who did not approve of their relationship. Reno used to be just an ordinary guy, he could go to college and get a good job all thanks to his wife's hard work. His wife helped him make money and sold all his jewelry so he could stay in college and get a decent job.

Reno lowered her head in embarrassment, she did not know how else to defend. Now he really felt cornered.

"I knew Reno was a good employee all along, but Kia was also a good performer. In order for this matter not to drag on I must act decisively. Kia will continue to work in this office, while Reno will be mutated to another office. I hope after this no employee mixes up personal and work matters."

Mr. Director has made a decision and cannot be denied, they inevitably have to accept it.

"When you get back to work, poor customer is waiting for you. Reno better take your wife home, solve this problem at home. Don't make this office's reputation ugly because of you" the Director ordered.

"Well, sir," answered Kia immediately back to her desk and served the customer as usual.

Reno and his wife were still silent, only the sound of their son's crying could be heard. The boy wanted to approach his father but was banned by Reno's wife.

"Don't kid, your papa doesn't love us anymore. He already loves others and intends to leave us," he said.

The boy complied and did not approach Reno. Reno's heart ached, he had really made them hurt.

"Dear, please forgive me. I'm afraid, please give me another chance. For the sake of our son, I beg of you, "Reno pleaded and tried to hold his wife's hand but was soon on the edge.

"It's been my patience all along. It's not the first time you've cheated, you've done it over and over. I don't know what my lack of self has been so long that you're never satisfied with just having me. You don't even remember your daughter. I'm really disappointed in you, please divorce me immediately. I can't live with you anymore, too often you hurt my heart. If you don't want to divorce me, then I'll sue you,"

With tears he went to take his daughter away leaving Reno still in shock. Kia smiled as she saw Reno's wife turn her head towards him before she left. There was a sense of guilt sneaking in his heart at the deepest.
