"If I confess my feelings for you, will you stay and settle down?"

Jen's confession made Mark unmoved from his position. He gripped tightly his fingers covered in cloth. Shortly after, Mark pulled his hand from his pocket and scratched his nape with his eyes still closed.

"Master .. are you asleep?"

Seeing no word from Mark, he caught his breath and looked back at the documents. "Haha! I was hoping for too much!" muttered.

Jenifer continued her work. Unwittingly the girl, the wall clock had shown three o'clock in the morning. Feeling unable to resist his drowsiness, he fell asleep with his head leaning against the table.

Mark opened his eyes and looked at his watch. Actually the man did not fall asleep. Jenifer's confession was ringing in his head. He tried to prepare an answer to Jen's question, but his lips were still tightly closed because his heart really had not recovered one hundred percent.

Seeing Jenifer sleeping, makes Mark open his suit and dress part of Jenifer's body. "Don't repeat your question! Because maybe one day, I'll ask you!" mumbling Mark.

The next day, Mark gets the job of observing the work procedures of employees who are at the Paradise Hotel. While passing through the employee cafeteria, Mark accidentally runs into Jenifer, but because Jen is busy talking to her coworkers, she does not notice Mark who just passed her.

"Didn't he see me?" scythe Mark.

Jen looks cool talking to a man who is not a stranger in his eyes. He's Gio, a division friend with Amey and Jen first. The two people looked familiar in Mark's eyes. Without the man realizing it, he clenched his hands tightly.

"Jen, after work, come with me yuk!" bring Gio.

"Where?"

"Udah come along. I have something to tell you."

"Now. Stay free."

"No ahh, later. I want to show you something too. I hope you'll give me your time."

"Hmm, I can't guarantee it. There's still a lot I have to review. You know that I work in two places. Hufthhh!" sigh Jenifer.

"Yes I know. But this is also very important. Want huh? Plisssss!" please Gio with a face.

"Well! Your face is strange! I don't like seeing you make that kayak. Yumkijwikk!"

"So how? Wanna?"

"alright. But it won't be long!"

"Sihappppp buk Bos" Gio's god.

Elsewhere, a man was watching them. Not just watching, but at the same time hearing the conversation of both. Suddenly the table rang out.

Brakk!

Everyone in the cafeteria was surprised. Of course because they saw Mr. Mark's anger mounting. Everyone dared not look at the man walking. While Jen and Gio still wonder who the man who made the noise was.

"It looks like I recognize the back of the man's back!" lirih Jen narrowed her eyes.

"Maybe managers from other divisions. It seemed that he was angry at his subordinates. Biases .. tempraments bosses hahah!" kill Gio.

"Yes, I'm not that!"

"Haha, are you offended? Oopss I forgot, you're the General Manager now. I'm sorry, Boss."

"Stop teasing me!" ketus Jenifer is loud.

Gio silenced his mouth and started chewing the food that had been sitting in front of him.

Elsewhere, Mark was very upset. This time he couldn't hold back his emotions. He went to Basemant and waited there. Mark stayed in the car for seven hours. Shortly after, two people emerged from behind the elevator. Mark looked at the two men sharply.

"Damn it! Why did I become curious about that slovenly girl!"

When Jen enters Gio's car, Mark hits the wheel so hard that he accidentally honks. "Don't let me get caught tailing them!" said again.

As Gio's car begins to move, Mark starts the vehicle's engine and starts following them from behind without Jen and Gio realizing. On the way, Mark wonders in his heart, where Gio will take Jenifer. He actually did not realize that his actions had exceeded normal limits.

Mark is always against his feelings if he doesn't like Jen. But his thoughts and actions are opposite. The man willingly waits for the girl to slur for seven hours, and even follows where Jen will go just to make sure if the girl is okay.

Gio's car stopped at a very crowded place. Apparently it was in a city park. Many couples have a date there and are even waiting for fireworks.

Gio looked at his watch. "One more minute!" said it.

Jen was confused. "What's one minute?"

"Look at it later."

The girl nodded.

A minute later, there was the sound of fireworks that resounded to break up the crowd. Jen looked up and looked up at the night sky filled with colorful fireworks. "Beautiful!" jen smiled as if smiling.

"Jen, I love you! Are you willing to marry me?"

Jen's smile faded when she heard Gio's words. Not only did Jen give an answer, Jen was startled by the sudden kiss that landed on her lips.

Not only Jenifer was shocked, even a man who had been following them had jumped up in shock instead of playing. Mark tightened his jaw while gripping his fingers. Apparently Mark also heard Gio's love statement to Jenifer.

Mark's footsteps with reflexes moving. He was about to walk towards Gio and wanted to hit Gio in the face, but he held him back. Mark realized that he had no right to do that and would only make him look stupid in Jenifer's eyes. Mark chose to leave the place feeling disappointed and irritated.

"Fuck with love!" ketus Mark's.

The heart that began to melt now froze again in an instant. Mark decided to stay away from Jenifer. That night was the last night Mark saw Jen. He did not even want to see Jen again because it would only make the stitches of his heart wound tear back.

Two years passed quickly. For Jen, Mark has been lost as if swallowed up by the earth. Jen no longer hears from Mark. Although he often went to the company WS Group, but he never met the man. Jen's heart wonders about Mark's disappearance.

Until one day Jen got word if, the youngest child Amey suffered from Leukaemia which requires the Winston family to move to New York. Jen's heart goes awry because she thinks that Mark will definitely follow Arsen. Jen ventured into Mark's apartment to ask him for an explanation, why Mark stayed away from him and wanted to tell Mark if he loved the man.

With tears streaming down his cheeks, he stood like a fool at the door of Mark's apartment. His hands shook and could not press the door bell. Suddenly, Jen remembered something. He remembers his good times with Mark, even though they were brief but for Jen, those memories have been imprinted in his heart.

Jen rubbed her tears and convinced herself to meet Mark. "Jen you must get the reason Mr. Mark is staying away from you! Two years you've harbored your feelings! So it's time to prove to her that you mean what you feel!"

Just as Jen was about to press the small button, suddenly the door opened. How shocked Jen was to see Mark standing before her.

"Tu-sir?!" jen muttered with trembling lips.

Mark was also no less surprised by the arrival of Jen. His heart was racing again. There was no denying that the man missed the woman standing in front of him so much.

"Explain to me why are you avoiding me?!" jen was blunt.

Mark stayed for a moment and looked at Jen's body. He looks skinny! Did he go on a diet?

"I've been waiting for you for two years, but you haven't contacted me at all!"

"There's no reason for me. You better go home, I'll go back to New York." Mark walks away from Jen while pulling his suitcase.

"I love you! I love you so much, Sir! please give me a reason why you're avoiding me so I can calm down." Jen's tears started to pour.

Mark squeezed the handle of the suitcase. Her heart ached hearing Jenifer's words. Mark took his breath slowly and threw it away violently. He turned his body and looked at Jenifer who was bowing his head.

Mark's eyes accidentally turned to look at Jenifer's fingers. A small diamond ring is attached to Jen's ring finger. Mark thinks Jenifer is married to Gio. With a wounded, disappointed and even broken heart, Mark walked over to Jenifer.

"Shorrent girl, stupid and careless! I told you I don't have any reason! Listen to me carefully! I don't have any feelings for you! I don't love you! You're not my type!"

Like being struck by lightning on a sad night. That's how Jen felt when she heard the harsh reality. He did not expect if Mark would reject it violently and even insult it all out.

Mark actually could not bear to say those hurtful words. But he was already emotional when he remembered Gio and Jen kissing. His emotions were stirred when he saw the diamond ring on Jenifer's ring finger. Jen is married to Gio.

"Alright I understand now," wiped her tears and smiled looking at Mark. Before leaving Mark, he took the time to squeeze into Mark's suit, as a sign that he misses the man terribly. With heavy strides he walked away from Mark.

Mark's hand was about to grab Jen's body and wanted to hold her. But that intention came to a halt as his eyes returned to look at Jenifer's ring finger.

You're already married. What's the point of expressing your feelings to me! You haven't changed! You're still stupid and careless!
