The Marrying The Grim Reaper
Chapter 31: The Life of Gyu-Sik and Yeo Seol (1)

Yeo Goo helped some of her employees bring Yeo Seol to the treatment room.

Yeo Goo as a chief healer of the kingdom swiftly examined the child.

"Everything's fine, but why did he suddenly faint." Yeo Goo was confused.

Yeo Seol frowned, then slowly opened his eyes.

"Dad.." Yeo Seol called out to her father.

"Yes, son, how are you feeling? What are you feeling now?"

Yeo Seol tried to sit down, the father helped.

"The waiter gets some water for Yeo Seol." Yeo Goo shouted at his men.

"It's okay, suddenly my head was so dizzy."

The waiter came with drinking water.

"Drink first."

Yeo Seol sipped a glass of drinking water until there was nothing left.

"Then you rest there in your room." Yeo Goo helped Yeo Seol stand up.

"It's okay dad, I have to go to the palace. I have to check on Han Gyu-Sik, the wound this time is quite severe."

"Tomorrow."

"It's okay dad, I'm healthy." Yeo Seol jumped up and down to show that she was healthy.

"Well, if you're going to the palace, I have a job this afternoon. We both go."

Yeo Seol nodded.

Yeo Goo, Yeo Seol and one bodyguard went to the palace using a carriage facility from the kingdom to Yeo Goo.

Yeo Goo was the chief physician of the kingdom, she had been working in the kingdom since young. His ability to concoct medicine and care for the sick was already beyond doubt.

At his home, he hired some people he had trained to treat commoners for free.

So good and noble is the heart of Yeo Goo, therefore she is much loved and respected by the people around her house.

Arriving at Yeo Seol's kingdom immediately searches for Gyu-Sik in his room.

Tok..

"Han Gyu-Sik open the door, it's time for treatment, Han Gyu-Sikkkk.." Yeo Seol knocked on Gyu-Sik's room door.

There's no answer.

"There's no way that he's not inside, it's not night yet." Yeo Seol muttered to himself.

KREEK..

"I'm in." Yeo Seol goes into Gyu-Sik's room, apparently Gyu-Sik is sleeping.

Yeo Seol approaching.

"His face is pale." Yeo Seok holds Gyu-Sik's forehead. Gyu-Sik has a high fever.

Yeo Seol ran towards the palace medicine room, he concocted fever-reducing medicine and medicine to heal the sword incision wound on Gyu-Sik's right arm.

After finishing with all his concoction Yeo Seol returned to Gyu-Sik's room.

Yeo Seol undress Gyu-Sik and starts wiping Gyu-Sik's chest and stomach with water. Scars of sword incisions, scars in bruises adorn the stocky body of Gyu-Sik.

Yeo Seol looked pityfully at Gyu-Sik. Gyu-Sik's work as a healer

Yeo Seol wiped Gyu-Sik's face.

Gyu-Sik frowned.

After that Yeo Seol started to treat the sword incision wound on Gyu-Sik's arm, suddenly…

Sreeet..

"Han Gyu-Sik.. uhukkk.. uhukkk.. Seol." Yeo Seol's hand hits Gyu-Sik's hand.

Gyu-Sik just regained consciousness, then took it off.

Yeo Seol coughed, Gyu-Sik panicked, he gave Yeo Seol a drink.

"Sorry Yeo Seol I accidentally, my body already has its own reflex when someone approaches." Gyu-Sik patted Yeo Seol's back gently.

"Yeah!! You're crazy, huh.. I've come to heal you, you've strangled me like this, feel it." Yeo Seol strangles Gyu-Sik by the neck, pushing him against the wall.

Gyu-Sik stares amusedly at Yeo Seol, according to him she is very funny when angry.

"Why smile? I'm choking you!!"

"The door of my room is open, if anyone sees our position like this then report to healer Yeo Goo how?" Gyu-Sik teases Yeo Seol.

Yeo Seol realizes that Gyu-Sik is bare-chested because his shirt has fallen off. Yeo Seol removed her hand from Gyu-Sik's neck and quickly closed the door.

"Sit down, I'll treat your arm." Yeo Seol asks Gyu-Sik to sit unkindly, pushing Gyu-Sik into a chair. Gyu-Sik pulls Yeo Seol's hand until she falls on Gyu-Sik's lap.

Two seconds. three seconds.they stared at each other.

Then Yeo Seol realized he was standing up and then tidied up his clothes.

"Don't joke." Yeo Seol's face flushed in embarrassment, and his heart skipped a beat.

"Obati lukaku before sunset." Pinta Gyus-Sik.

"Why? Did the king give you another assignment??"

Gyu-Sik nodded.

"The king is so cruel, he kills people without dirtying his own hands."

Gyu-Sik is an assassin whom the king trusts the most.

Eight years ago Gyu-Sik was brought by the king to the palace. When found by the king in the forest, Gyu-Sik live sebatangkara, at that time Gyu-Sik managed to prey on wild boar with bamboo sticks, he defeated the king who was hunting at that time.

Because the king felt Gyu-Sik had the ability to prey on him, the king took him to the palace, took care of him, fed him, gave him a proper bed, trained physically, hunted and trained the sword. Until finally Gyu-Sik trusted by the king to be a royal assassin. The king gives Gyu-Sik orders to kill anyone the king doesn't like, anyone who breaks the king's word must disappear from the face of the earth.

Gyu-Sik who feels indebted for having been cared for by the king with his loyalty he obeys whatever the king commands.

In the palace environment no one dared to come close to Gyu-Sik. Gyu-Sik also prefers to stay silent in his room all day, then if there is an order to kill someone he will do at night.

Yeo Seol is assigned by the king to treat Gyu-Sik, initially Yeo Seol is also afraid. When he first treated Gyu-Sik, his face was full of splashes of blood, his hands were bleeding from being slashed by the opponent's sword, Gyu-Sik's state was very disturbing. But after a few times met over time became familiar.

After getting to know Gyu-Sik more deeply Yeo Seol is convinced that Gyu-Sik is actually a good person. But because of his loyalty to the king, he could not dispute his orders.

"They deserve to be killed for violating the king's orders." Gyu-Sik defending the king.

"You are always kind to the king, always defending the king. Always siding with the king, what if one day you were told to jump into the abyss by the king? You want one too?" Yeo Seol begins to treat Gyu-Sik's wounds.

"I'm ready to die for the king."

"Ckckck. basic man is faithful." Yeo Seol puts the wound medicine on Gyu-Sik's wound, he presses hard, deliberately to get Gyu-Sik in pain.

"Aaa. perih, slow down."

"Felt!" Yeo Seol smiled with satisfaction.

"You.. Why not be afraid of me?"

"You're not creepy, why am I afraid?"

"But the people turned their backs on me, calling me a heartless man, a ruthless criminal, an angel of death, and so on. All bad mentions." Gyu-Sik bows his head, sometimes embarrassed by his work.

Yeo Seol looks on Gyu-Sik, knowing that Gyu-Sik is not a bad person, only that his bad luck with the king makes him a cold-blooded killer.

"There's no need to be discouraged, they're just jealous because the king cares about you so much." Yeo Seol tries to comfort Gyu-Sik and always succeeds.

For Gyu-Sik, Yeo Seol is the only good human being who is willing to pay attention to him without asking for a return.
