Part 33: Coma

This morning the Navanka and Andara families had gathered at Andre's funeral. Unfortunately, Kania was unable to attend the funeral because of her frail condition.

~Hospital

At 12 p.m., Kania had just regained consciousness from her stupor. Riko who accompanied him from earlier saw Kania had realized immediately calling the doctor. Riko went out to let the doctor check on Kania. The doctor came out of the IGD room.

"How's the patient doing right now, Doc?" ask Riko.

"Alhamdulillah, the patient is stable and can be moved to the treatment room," replied the doctor to make Riko relieved.

"Well then I will immediately take care of the administration doc," said Riko and the doctor nodded then resigned.

Riko completed the administration of Kania and Kania was immediately transferred to the treatment room. The night was getting late, but Riko saw Kania was so agitated in her nursery bed.

"What's Kania ? you look so agitated?" riko asked gently but from now on Riko was also confused to tell Kania about her father's death.

"Somehow, I feel really bad, sister," replied Kania.

"Kania, there is something I want to say," said Riko who inevitably had to convey it to Kania.

"Yeah!" yelling Kania woke up from her sleep made Riko who had just fallen asleep come home awake. Kania was crying.

"Kania, what's wrong?" riko asked in a semi-conscious state.

But Kania did not answer Riko's question, instead crying louder. Riko pressed the button next to Kania's bed. Soon the nurse came and injected sedatives into the infusion.

It didn't take long for Kania to fall asleep. Riko continued her sleep when the nurse came out of the room.

In the morning, Riko woke up from her sleep and went to the bathroom. Riko saw Kania who was still asleep immediately whispered something into her ear.

"Kania, I'm going home first there's something I need to take care of. If you need anything you can call a nurse," said Riko who was neatly wearing his office suit and then went out of the room Kania.

Riko did not forget to tell the sisters.

"I leave the patient in room 112 yes, if there is anything to ask for help tell me," said Riko while giving her card.

Riko went to the ICU room first to see the situation of Reza, in front of the ICU room there was Yusti and Vino who had just arrived.

"Alhamdulillah has started to stabilize sir but still weak, plus last night when I told him about the death of his father he hysterically woke up from his sleep and the nurse gave a sedative for Kania," replied Riko.

"Thank God that Kania can recover quickly and continue his school again" Yusti said with hope.

"Aamiin, then I retreat to the office first sir, madam," said Riko then Yusti and Vino nodded.

Riko went straight to the office to make sure and postpone the schedule to meet the client in the next 3 days.

While still in the Yusti hospital and Vino are still anxious. The doctor who just came out of the ICU.

"How's our son doing, Doc?" ask Vino curious.

"The son of mother and father is still in a coma, his subconscious still controls him so it is possible that time to wake up takes a long time due to a hard impact on his head. But so far everything has started to improve only we just wait for him to realize, Reza is a strong person and has the spirit to heal, Reza, so all we can do right now is pray we leave everything to the Almighty" explained the doctor at length.
