Part 35: A Test

After the funeral, they headed to the hospital. A few minutes later, the car arrived at the hospital lobby. They got out of the car and walked together. Rachima's warm hand clasped Agistha's hand which was still silent.

"Who would want to go in first to see Reza?" ask Vino when everything has arrived in front of the ICU room.

"Sorry sir, I went to Kania's ward first yes," said Riko and then went to Kania's room.

"Sir Vino can I go see Reza?" ask ustadz Fahri.

"Please mr. Ustadz, then" said Vino, allowing ustadz Fahri to go inside while others wait outside because only one person is allowed to enter.

Outside the room, Agistha sat still with a gloomy face. Ustadz Fahri's son, Kalila, approached Agistha after asking her husband for permission.

"Hi, my name is Kalila" said Kalila introducing herself as she extended her hand.

"I'm Agistha sister," answered Agantha with a faint smile as she reached for Kalila's helping hand.

"Don't call me sister, we're the same age" Kalila smiled.

"Cool?" ask Agantha astonished.

"Yes, I was 18 and a year ago I got married when I was 17" Kalila replied.

"Obviously sister 1 year above me really," added Agistha chuckled.

"Think we're the same age we can be friends, right? just call my name yes," said Kalila and Agistha nodded.

"It's nice to meet you Kalila" said Agistha.

"I heard many stories from abi about you and your family, I was so amazed at you with the advantages that you have you are still able to control the emotions that exist in yourself, he said, if I were you I couldn't, because I'm not you" Kalila chuckled.

~ICU Room

Ustadz Fahri sees Reza as losing his way, he tries to help Reza get back into his rag. Slowly but surely. When finished, Ustadz Fahri was out of the ICU room.

In the waiting room, Agistha and Kalila hugged and finally let go of the need because they saw ustadz Fahri come out of the ICU room.

"Kalila, I want to meet Reza mas yes," said Agantha and Kalila nodded.

"Can't if Agis goes inside?" ask Agantha doubtfully.

"May dong dear, please," Yusti replied gently and Agistha went inside.

"Assalamualaikum mas, I'm coming again. I really want to be here with you. Open your eyes, I'm here waiting for you. Waiting for your smile, waiting for your laugh, didn't you promise to take care of me? oh yes mas, I have a new theme called Kalila, she is a child ustadz Fahri, she is beautiful and has a sholeh husband as well. I wake up dong, I will know my new friend, I prefer a chatty mas rather than silence like this" said Agistha as she shed her tears. Agistha clasped tightly onto Reza's hand as she lowered her head and cried softly.

Moments later, as Agantha's heart calmed down, Agestha said goodbye to Reza and promised to visit her again tomorrow. Agestha was out of the ICU room with a face. Rachima who realized that immediately approached Agistha.

"Honey, it's better we pray a lot for Reza's recovery, yes" said Rachima and Agistha nodded slowly.

The day began to run late in the afternoon, ustadz Fahri and his family paid to go home as well as the Navanka family. Yusti and Vino take turns to meet Reza.

"Assalamualaikum" said Rachima, Rukman and Agantha together.

"Waalaikumsalam," answered Kania and Riko simultaneously.

"How are you doing, son?" tanya Rachima approached Kania who was eating being fed by Riko.

"Alhamdulillah good aunt. Om, aunty thanks a lot who has helped Kania a lot to come back here again," said Kania with teary eyes.

"Beloved together. After you recover, you can go to school again with Agistha. You can stay at our house and Agantha has a friend, can't you, Agis?" rachima said, then asked Agistha.

"Yes it's true that Kania, I don't feel alone anymore if you learn," replied Agistha enthusiastically.

Long enough to talk Navanka's family was happy to go home.

~House of Navanka

Agistha woke up from her sleep, stretching her stiff muscles. After yesterday's funeral, today Agistha decided to go back to the hospital to see the condition of Reza and Kania.

Because today is weekend, Rukman and Rachima are cool relaxing in the garden behind the house accompanied by splashing fountains and also the pet canary Rukman.

"It's very cool today, not too hot very comfortable to relax at home like this," said Rukman while sipping green tea.

"Yes pah, I was so excited I thought I saw Alika, Agistha and Alfian were running around in front of us laughing together. Enjoy the day with great joy" said Rachima, looking ahead at what she thought.

Rukman understood how Rachima felt when he said that, however, he also felt as a parent losing a child of his own flesh and blood for eternity he never even touched his body again.

Rukman immediately hugged Rachima warmly, gently rubbing Rachima's back making her so comfortable in Rukman's embrace. Agistha who had just come down from her room wanted to approach her parents in the garden behind the house, seeing her mother and father also felt moved and longed for Alika and Alfian.

Although Agistha often met with the souls of Alika and Alfian but he was also not able to embrace his two brothers who were gone. Tears escaped from the pretty eyes of Agistha. Agistha immediately wiped away her tears and approached her parents.

"Well let's get our reward ready first, but before going to the hospital we first visit the tomb of Alika and Alfian yes pah," said Rachima and Rukman nodded.

1 Hour later

Navanka's family just arrived at a fancy burial place. Their purpose is to visit the graves of their children.

Their sincere prayers were sent to Alika and Alfian. When they finished praying, they went to the hospital.
