Chapter 49: Uncovered

Masy's heart skipped a beat from the Duke's sharp gaze, making her guts shrink. Finally let Axton open the door to his room. Masy even took a few steps back not wanting to get the tantrum of the man in front of her if she knew who was in the room.

Axton entered the room and then closed the door, the man was already very sure if the woman was here. From the aroma alone Axton can recognize. And not wrong, a moment later Axton can see his wife lying soundly on a sofa. Seeing Ai's calmness made Axton's anger recede instantly. His wife's face was so easy to make Axton's heart warm.

Axton walked up to his wife, then crouched down to look at her more closely. Ai fell asleep really well, last night she didn't sleep. Now after lunch made him sleepy. Even Axton's soft elusan on his cheek was unable to tease her deeply.

“ open the door” said Ai flat. Axton remained silent undisturbed by his wife's words.

“ I said open the door” Ai's voice is getting higher. Axton looked at Ai.

“ not” the answer is short. Ai is getting more emotional with her husband's behavior.

“ why did you return to the city secretly?” ask Axton later. The man no longer wanted to talk.

“ why are you lying about duty?” ask Ai. He is now sitting on the bedside. Axton grinned at the reply from his wife.

“ you're getting smarter now” Og Axton then move closer to his wife. Ai intended to dodge but her steps were blocked.

“ answer my question” Axton is standing in front of Ai, he looks so intimidating his wife with that towering big body. Ai looked up at Axton's face, even his body was pulled back because Axton slightly lowered his body.

“ I won't answer before you answer first” Ai gives a little threat. All the truth that she knew made Ai not easily afraid of all her husband's actions.

“ still won't answer?” Axton gets closer to her face, Ai panics she doesn't want Axton to touch her tonight. But the push of his hand on Axton's chest was not very helpful. Axton didn't move a bit.

“ ka, what do you want?” still, due to her panic, Ai was even nervous about receiving Axton's treatment.
