Chapter 52

Today Axton in full suit is ready to go, after breakfast the horse-drawn carriage is even waiting outside.

“ let me come ya” Ai still whine with her wishes.

“ is not Ai” firmly Axton who is completely unaffected by his wife's whining.

“ but why are you suddenly invited to the kingdom? Does the queen intend to do something to you?” Ai blocked Axton's way.

“ is not Ai, it's about the state of the military. Yes already. Don't make me regret telling you. If you still whine like this next time I won't tell you anything,” Axton has no choice but to threaten Ai. His wife bothered him so much with this behavior.

“ hem, alright” akhinya Ai forced to follow the will of her husband. From the entrance looked at her husband's horse-drawn carriage that had left the residence.

After that Ai went upstairs and went into Axton's study. Her husband had given her permission to read some files there.

It was late at night but her husband had not returned yet, Ai patiently waiting for him downstairs. Sitting on the sofa facing the door, accompanied by a book. Unknowingly, the sleepy Ai finally fell asleep there.

Axton was already on his way home, with his tired face. Shortly after, the train stopped, the sign arrived. Immediately walk in. And when he saw his wife sleeping on the sofa Axton's heart became warm. Ai was tired waiting for her to come home. Slowly Axton carried his wife into the room.

After laying him in bed, Axton immediately went into the bath. Then lie down with Ai, and fall asleep.

Faintly Axton felt his body shaken slowly. Make his consciousness present. It was his wife, Ai woke him up. He saw that it was already morning.

“ as long as you get home at what time?” ai asked after putting the breakfast tray on the table then approached her husband.

“ hem, I don't know” Axton is sitting down. Ai is getting closer.

“ what happened in the kingdom?” Ai is surrounded by curiosity.

“ next week I have to return to the border, the military situation is so complicated. Yesterday there was a meeting to discuss this issue” Axton replied. Ai heard Axton's reply feeling a little worried. Just be afraid if this has been planned by the kingdom.

“ em, there is something I want to ask you related to ratu” Ai trying as carefully as possible when asking.

“ what do you want to know?” Axton was so calm hearing Ai's question. His heart was numb to his mother.

“ what queen planned the murder of your former wives?” Axton was silent for a moment.

“ I also do not know, but most likely, between me and him there is only hatred and grudge”

“ if yes, why does the queen do that?”

“ I don't know either. She always wanted me to suffer. What is clear is that you should not mess with him especially with that Sea Brengseek. In the kingdom no one can believe” Axton stroked Ai's black mane plan.

“ is currently just your uncle and some family members from my late wife” Axton's voice is so weak, like it's hiding something. But Ai did not question her, she thought that her husband must be sad if he remembered the past.

After the conversation, Axton finished his breakfast with his wife. Until now the issue of diary and letter of the queen still had not had time Ai told Axton. The situation is still not right, especially with the news of her husband's departure next week.  

Elsewhere there was a man who was having a meeting with a foreign Bavarian. He is Sea. Crown prince of the kingdom.

“ how about the deal?” asked Sea to his interlocutor.

“ what if things turn around, you know it is not, he is not a triv” opponent replied the man.

“ just relax I'll set it up. If you managed to kill him back then, I would have kept my promise” Sea said while grinning evilly.

“ 3 hectares of border land I think is still lacking as the price of his life” men started to bid on the deal earlier.

“ iron seeds, I want 5 iron seed crates” said the man steady.

“ is very easy, next week you can start the plan. He must be at the border. The kingdom gave him orders. Remember for his death as if he was killed during a shootout” Sea stared at his interlocutor full of emphasis.

After finishing that secret meeting, Sea looked so satisfied. This plan must be good news for his mother. Just wait for success.

Later that day at the Axton residence news that Grace had suffered an accident. She fell down the stairs, and even more shocking was that Grace was bleeding strangely. Soon Ai went to the Wellington residence on the edge of the city. Axton does not participate because it has guests at the residence, this must also be hidden from the general public.

As soon as Ai sat down with doctor Leyna who also just came. The two women entered together and headed for Grace's room. Ai's heart was so sorry to see Grace's current state, lying limp on the bed. Silently watching Leyna examine and deal with Grace's pain from outside the room.

Moments later Grace looked better. Leyna walked out of the room.

“ how is it?” ask Ai

“ This Duchess seems like a strange incident, it seems like Miss Grace is pregnant” Ai closed her mouth because she was shocked by the news she heard.

“ are you sure?” ask Ai.

“ is right, you check the situation often” said Ai. Doctor Leyna wrote the prescription and resigned. Ai had told the waiter to buy the recipe earlier.

It was already very late afternoon, Ai decided to stay here. She also needs to talk to Grace about the pregnancy. Ai feels it's possible that the baby in Grace's birth is the crown prince's baby, if it's somehow the fate that Grace will face, for better or worse. The kingdom is so hard to guess.
