Chapter 16: Just wanting to be strong

"Hey Taewoon! Do you have a teacher?" taeri asked the rested Taewoon.

It had been about 1 hour that they hunted Class F monsters. Right now they were done in hunting monsters, and they were resting outside the dungeon before returning to the Jurim guild.

"G-teachers?" Taeri nodded. "Surely I have,"

"Gee... It's great! What level is your teacher?" Taewoon was confused by the question.

"Huh? Level?"

"Yes! Your teacher must be a great person, because you are only level 1, but you are already like a level 10 person." Now that Taewoon understood, this girl asked about the Hunter teacher, not the school teacher.

"Ah, m-sorry, but the teacher I mean the school teacher... If Hunter Taeri meant a teacher who taught me how to fight. I don't have any! Except for my Taekwondo teacher, he only taught Taekwondo martial arts. He's also a Hunter anyway, but I never trained with him."

"Eh? W-so you don't have a teacher?" Taewoon nodded.

"Then why are you so great? Are you a genius?" Taeri was astonished by Taewoon's ability.

From far away Jewon noticed Taeri and Taewoon talking. He seemed unhappy with the familiarity of the two people.

At a cafe in the city center, Yeri and Caeyeon were sitting down to enjoy their coffee and food.

They often meet at least twice a week. Although they have very different personalities, their friendship is really very close.

In fact, Caeyeon also had a hyperactive personality like Yeri. But his personality changed after the incident 7 years ago.

He became a colder person, and was not warm anymore. And the reason Caeyeon and Yeri can be friends, is because when they first entered Yeri High School, it always forced Caeyeon to be friends with him.

Yeri must have been stalking Caeyeon everywhere. At first Caeyeon was very upset about it, but as time went on, Yeri became her close friend.

If it was Yeri, the reason she was so curious about Caeyeon. That was because to Yeri a cold girl who had eyes that were blind next to her he seemed like a poor girl.

Yeri thinks so because she doesn't know that Caeyeon is her son from director Park Jiwoo.

Caeyeon was not like Taewoon who had never appeared to the public. She once appeared, but due to her appearance after her left eye went blind, many people just thought Caeyeon looked like Park Jiwoo's second child. Moreover, the nature of Jiwoo's second child who is known to the public is a friendly and easy to smile.

Therefore his school friends consider him just similar to the child of the Korean conglomerate. She is Park Jiwoo's second child. But in never telling that, he just let people gossip about him.

And so Yeri grew older with Caeyeon who had no friends.

"Pfft," Caeyeon smiled to herself, recalling 7 years ago when Yeri was very upset with her.

"What's wrong with you? You don't usually smile like crazy.."

"Nothing, I just remember the past."

"Btw, thanks Yeri." Yeri raised her eyebrows.

"You've helped my sister" replied Caeyeon.

"Is your sister still afraid of you?"

"Hm.., he's still very awkward when he meets me, but this time he starts to dare to greet me."

"If you don't want to say it, don't say it. I'm curious anyway... But I have great respect for the privacy of my future sister-in-law." Caeyeon immediately stared intently at Yeri.

"I'm really gonna kill you, if you talk like that again..." Caeyeon smiled creepily.

"This bad.... Too bad Taewoon has a sister like you, I'm afraid your sister will be single..." Caeyeon was getting annoyed at hearing that.

"Ha... I was just scared by Taewoon's mentality," Yeri glanced at the friend who had a grim face.

So he didn't want to push his best friend to dig up old wounds that were likely very painful.

Taewoon's entourage has now reached Jurim's guild, they are selling the farm produce they get.

"Gee... This time we got quite yes," cried Yuri.

"Taevon... It's money for you" Taeri said as she offered the money. "You've been working hard..."

"Ah, I don't need. The money is for you."

"Hey boy! Don't be arrogant!" Jewon growls seeing Taewoon rejecting the money.

"Bu-not the bag-"

"I've seen you, you are indeed good enough for level 1 people. But don't pretend just because you can kill some Class F monsters." Taewoon felt depressed with Jewon's sharp gaze.

She had seen that gaze so often, and now she felt guilty and uneasy.

"Hey, calm down Jewon. Why are you so angry now." said Taeri, "he must have had a reason to refuse this money."

"Sir, why are you refusing money? Aren't we working as Hunters to earn money...?" ask Jinte.

"Sorry, s-I entered the dungeon not because of money, I just want to level up..." Taewoon was nervous. He was completely unfamiliar with this kind of situation.

Jinte and Taeri looked at each other, they did not expect that Taewoon had entered the dungeon just to level up. Because usually the Hunter entered the dungeon to earn money.

"Do you really not need this money?"

"T-no problem, my goal is just to be strong." cried Taewoon looked at Taeri.

"So strong yes..." Taeri smiles. “Alright, if you don't have a problem, this money is for us only." Taeri rubbed Taewoon's head.

Taewoon had gone home, he said he wanted to rest because he was so tired.

"Hey Jewon's. Don't be so hard on that boy." Taeri scolded. "I know what your problem is, you don't want us to die for protecting a burden right? But you saw, he's not a weak kid. And most importantly we all got out of the dungeon safely."

Jewon left after hearing Taeri's advice. His face looks very upset.

“What exactly is that crazy boy problem?” Taeri looked at Jewon
