The Next Of Phoenix

The Next Of Phoenix
Chapters 18. Fang Laowang

Upon returning from Gu Fu to meet Baili Ruyi, Xiao Mingyui daydreamed a lot in the carriage. When his mind was busy with various things, suddenly his carriage stopped, then Bingbing's voice was heard whispering from behind the carriage door.

"Your highness, there's a carriage that belongs to nobility. He's not willing to budge."

Xiao Mingyui let out a thin sigh, who is that person? This was the first experience he had encountered, before no one had ever dared to head off Xiao Wangfu's carriage.

Xiao Mingyui could not simply retreat, as it would hurt his pride. It seemed like the owner of this horse carriage who was unwilling to retreat was a newcomer to the Capital City.

Suddenly a foreign man's voice sounded from outside the carriage, making Xiao Mingyui lift her window curtain slightly.

"Pardon me, your highness princess Xiao Mingyui. However, our young master's carriage couldn't retreat due to being in a hurry. Our young master is gravely wounded, please noble humility."

Xiao Mingyui frowned. The bodyguard recognized himself? It means he's not a stranger.

"What's going on?" xiao Mingyui asked, his tone very calm and clear, making the bodyguard thump in astonishment at Xiao Mingyui's aura.

"Answer, your honor. Our young master had just returned from Fuchang City, then in the middle of the road we had been attacked by mountain bandits, causing our young master to have a deep stab wound in the abdomen."

Xiao Mingyui nodded briefly, then opened the carriage door without Bingbing's help. Bingbing was surprised, yet she did not speak anything.

As he got off the horse carriage with Bingbing's help, Xiao Mingyui said, "The bleeding must be very severe, I can smell it very concentrated. If having to go to the healer won't have time, it's still too far away from here."

The bodyguard was stunned to see Xiao Mingyui's figure. "Eh?"

Xiao Mingyui glanced coldly. "Open your train doors, I'll help you a little."

The bodyguard was still dumbfounded, he did not expect Xiao Mingyui to be so generous. Bingbing who saw the bodyguard just silently felt annoyed.

"Please! The princess is kind enough to help, but you just shut up? Open door!"

The bodyguard gasped, he rushed to the door of his master's carriage and invited Xiao Mingyui to enter.

Xiao Mingyui entered the carriage. His face and gaze were flat despite the fishy smell of blood getting more and more concentrated. Inside, he saw a man sitting with his eyes closed and his right hand tightly wrapped in cloth. The cloth was filled with blood, even the original color was almost covered.

The man's hair was neither black nor white like an albino like Rong Wangxia, but blond. The color of the blonde is synonymous with the people of the Western continent.

Slowly the man's eyes opened, as the agonized eyes stared at the cold Xiao Mingyui, he quickly looked back down. Xiao Mingyui was silent in his position, his heart as if it stopped beating when he saw the color of the man's eyeball.

The man had blue eyeballs, just like his late father. It was not the usual blue eyeball that belonged to the descendants of the Western continent, but the typical eyeball that he had only seen in the figure of his father. The blue eyes were extremely shiny and emitted something unexplainable.

"I'm sorry .. for not being able to give .. respect to you, your majesty ...." The man was a little stammered to speak, it seemed like the wound on his stomach was tormenting him greatly.

"Let me touch you. Keep in mind, I am a healer and you are a patient who needs treatment. The touch that will happen later is part of the treatment process." Xiao Mingyui gave an affirmation before starting treatment, because in this age, the intense touch of women and men is taboo. Moreover, they were nobles.

The man nodded briefly, then carefully removed his clothes. The blood-filled cloth was thrown into the bottom of the carriage, now the man was bare-chested before Xiao Mingyui.

Xiao Mingyui took out her handkerchief, then began to clean the blood that kept flowing out from the man's wounds. After cleaning, Xiao Mingyui also threw his handkerchief to the bottom of the carriage. The woman quickly placed both of her palms on top of the man's wound.

A light blue colored light emerged from Xiao Mingyui's palm, the woman processing her inner strength into a medical treatment for the man. The man looked at Xiao Mingyui with his forehead tangled in pain.

Xiao Mingyui was too focused, to the point of not realizing some sweaty fur started to drop and wet her pretty forehead. The man's eyes grew even more fixed, he continued to pay attention to Xiao Mingyui while the woman was busy treating him.

After he finished, Xiao Mingyui withdrew both of his palms, then took a short breath. The man's injuries were quite severe, his strength was almost depleted due to almost all of the profound strength he exerted.

Xiao Mingyui opened the window curtain to ask, "Do you guys have a long enough clean cloth?"

Bingbing and the bodyguard looked at each other, then shook their heads slowly with a confused look.

"No, your honor."

Xiao Mingyui closed the window curtain agi, then looked at the man. Their gazes met again, then Xiao Mingyui quickly withdrew his gaze to think quickly while looking towards the wounds that had already improved considerably even though they were still wet.

Xiao Mingyui let out a thin sigh, then forcedly to tear off his own hanfu cloth. The man looked extremely shocked, his face looking at Xiao Mingyui in confusion. "Your majesty-"

"Shut up." Xiao Mingyui cut quickly, he wanted this affair to be finished soon. No matter what hanfu is going to break.

Xiao Mingyui wrapped the cloth around the man's waist until it covered his wound. After he finished, he quickly tied her up tightly and looked at the man again. "Go to the drugstore and buy a special ointment there so that the wound dries quickly. Don't let this wound get too much water."

The man looked at his stomach that was already clean of blood, then his lips smiled and looked at Xiao Mingyui again. "Thank you very much, your majesty. I will not forget your kindness."

Xiao Mingyui nodded briefly, as he was about to leave, the man suddenly said something again. "I'm sorry for bothering you and haven't formally introduced myself. I am Fang Laowang, the eldest son of Minister Fang."

Xiao Mingyui frowned, her eyes rapidly changing. Fang Laowang who realized this was confused, he did not know the reason for Xiao Mingyui's change in expression.

Xiao Mingyui quickly rushed down from the carriage. "Yes, okay." The woman did not turn her head in the slightest, making Fang Laowang worried. Did he have a chance to say something that offended Xiao Mingyui?

As soon as it descended, Xiao Mingyui directly climbed into Xiao Wangfu's horse carriage back. Bingbing slightly frowned when she saw the bloodstains and the hanfu cloth being torn at her master's hanfu.

When Xiao Mingyui was already inside the carriage, Fang Laowang's horse carriage retreated, then Xiao Wangfu's carriage just drove past them.

Xiao Mingyui let out a thin sigh, jeez ..he just saved his own enemy. However, given the man's puzzled expression and no suspicious gestures from him, Xiao Mingyui argued that it seemed that Fang Laowang did not know anything about the heat problem that was going on in the Capital City.
