Counterattack

Amelia threw all the files on her desk. The 28-year-old woman was inflamed after receiving unsettling news during a briefing earlier this morning. Three clients who were about to sign a contract with his hotel suddenly changed his decision. Nick picked up his phone and contacted one of the clients who canceled the partnership with Ambrossia Hills. He changed the voice of the call to loud spekaer mode so that the conversation could be heard by everyone in the room. After speaking for a while, Nick ended his call. Nick took the keys from his pants pocket and threw them on the table, right in front of Amelia.

After saying that, Nick came out of the room followed by Hilman. Amelia looked so upset. He took the car keys and threw them against the wall.

“Gather all employees. Then admit what you did that slandered Nick. Don't forget to provide the original financial report and then submit your resignation.”

A satisfied smile was imprinted on Nick's face as Amelia did as she asked. Clarification about him being fired for corruption has been made. Of course the woman washes her hands and puts all the blame on Ranti. And instead, Ranti must bear the shame and blame of everyone.

Nick kept his promise to bring back two clients who canceled the partnership. Gaining assurances from Nick, the two clients were finally willing to sign an agreement with Ambrossia Hills. Amelia can smile with relief, her position is safe.

“What's your plan now?” ask Hilman.

“Do you have any desire to work in another hotel? I can recommend you,” continued Hilman.

“Thank you sir. But I have no interest in working in hospitality anymore. Looks like I'll open my own business.”

“Hmm. Creating jobs for others is better than working under pressure,” Hilman laughed discordantly as if laughing at himself.

“I go home first sir. Thanks for your help, I can recover my good name.”

“It should be me who thanks you for successfully bringing back our client.”

Nick stood up and shook Hilman's hand. After that he came out of the room. In front of the elevator, Nick meets Ranti. The woman had just finished cleaning her things. In his hand was a chocolate box with his personal belongings. Nick glanced at Ranti.

“Your satisfaction?” exclaim Ranti.

“I just want to recover my good name. Regarding your dismissal, it is a risk that you must bear. If you knew where to stand, then you wouldn't have experienced this.”

The elevator doors open, Nick precedes Ranti to enter the elevator. Then stand in the middle of the door while pressing the close button. Ranti who was about to enter blocked Nick's body. He stared hard at the man.

“Better you wait for the next elevator.”

Nick rewinds his body making the elevator door shut perfectly. Ranti snorted dejectedly getting such treatment. It turns out that the rumor that Nick would be cruel to his enemy is true. I regret that he had to betray that man.
