Everyone was silent to Diah's explanation of Nick's condition. Denis scratched his hair violently. After escaping a critical period, Nick's condition was not really safe. If likened to a mountain, then Nick is an active mountain that will occasionally spew hot lava.

“Mommy hope you don't ask Nick to remember his past again. Mommy was afraid that if she forced herself, things would get worse.”

“But what about Iza, mom? She lost her future son and now she has to lose her husband too. Mommy can certainly imagine how she feels,” Fahrul still can not accept Diah's decision.

“Mommy knows. Then mommy should what? Mommy's priority this time is Nick's safety. Iza's condition would not be better if he met Nick. Imagine how she felt so knowing her husband didn't remember her at all and might never even remember her again.”

Bryan tries to explain to Fahrul and Nick about Diah's decision. Although he does not completely agree, but maybe this is the best decision. Seeing Nick's condition now, it is quite risky if the child meets Iza. Neither Diah nor himself would risk Nick's life at stake.

“Mommy just wants Nick's safety. If Nick can get through this well, Iza can meet him again. But if something happens to Nick when they meet, Iza could lose her husband forever.”

Mina doesn't believe her husband's words when he says about Nick. Rahardi who believed Diah's words continued to try to convince Mina and make the wife accept the fact that the husband of her youngest child was gone.

“I'll meet Diah.”

“They left for Bandung today. Nick will be buried there.”

“If they go to the end of the world even once, I will keep looking for them. I believe, my son-in-law is alive.”

Mina stood up from her seat and left Rahardi. She had to make sure of the news her husband had told her herself. His little heart told him Nick was still alive. It is possible that Diah's hatred of Rahardi prompted the woman to say this.

Mina secretly goes to the hospital where Nick is being treated. In his heart he kept hoping that what Rahardi said was a lie. By using an online taxi, the woman headed for a hospital not too far away.

Mina seemed frustrated when the administration did not want to provide any information about accident patients who were transferred from Mitra Harapan hospital. How hard the woman tried, but they still did not provide information. This is a form of service that hospitals provide for VIP patients. Apparently Bryan moved quickly asking the hospital to close information about Nick.

With a gontai move, the woman left the administrative desk. He sat himself in the waiting chair in the hospital lobby. Seeing that the hospital did not provide information about Nick, Mina's suspicion grew. He believes Nick is still alive.

Mina picks up her phone and contacts Diah, but her call is connected to the voice box. Then he tried to contact Arnav, one of Nick's best friends who was quite close to him. But the man did not answer his call. Mina wakes up, the woman won't give up. If the hospital won't give him any information, he'll find it himself. If necessary he will go one by one inpatient rooms in this hospital.

It had been almost two hours Mina had continued to surround this huge hospital. He goes floor by floor to find Nick. In total there were four floors covered. The woman skipped a special gynecological floor, a child care floor, and of course the floor where the doctor practices. There were five more floors to go.

Sambi nibbled her sore calf, Mina resting in one of the waiting rooms on the ninth floor. Several times Ridho contacted and asked his whereabouts. Mina just said there were still things to be done with her son.

After unwinding, Mina intended to continue her search. He walked to the elevator on his right side. His hand is tilting the button with the arrow facing up. This time it was the 10th floor. Patiently the woman waited for the iron box to stop on her floor.

There was a clanging sound when the elevator stopped on the 9th floor. Slowly the elevator door opened. Some people came out of the iron box. After waiting for a while, Mina got into the elevator. His eyes were round looking at Diah standing in the corner with his head bowed.

“Diah.”

The woman's head was raised. Diah was surprised to see Mina in front of him. For a moment the two women were just glued to their respective places. Mina took the initiative to approach Diah. There were only the two of them in this iron box.

“You want what you came here for? Didn't your husband say anything about Nick?”

Diah didn't answer Mina's question. The woman turned her eyes in another direction. Mina won't give up. It was a good luck that she was able to meet Diah when she was almost at a dead end. He also believed that this was the path God had given him.

“Diah. please. be honest. For the sake of our good relationship, for the sake of our children,” Mina keeps trying to persuade Diah.

“Go home.”

Diah came out on the tenth floor as soon as the elevator door opened. Mina's hurry caught up with him. Not being careful, the shoes he wore stumbled between the floor and the elevator door to make him fall.

Mina held the body with both hands so as not to fall down. Diah who was shocked reflexively approached his iron then helped him stand up. Aided by Diah, the woman sat on the waiting chair that was on this floor.

“You have nothing?”

“I'm fine,” Mina clapped both her hands to remove the dust stuck in her palm.

“How is Iza?”

“Alhamdulillah, he is conscious. Nick?”

“He is also conscious. But Nick lost his memory.”

Mina quickly turned her head towards Diah. The woman's face looked so sad. Mina grabbed Diah's hand and then grabbed it. He knew very well how Diah was feeling right now. Their children are not in good shape. Nick loses his memory and Iza loses her sight.

“Nick. He lost his memory, even doctors predict that his memory will not return. After coming to her senses, she fainted a few times while trying to remember about herself. From the results of the examination, the doctor said that there was a nerve that was squeezed due to the impact that occurred. If he continues to force to remember, then the squeezed nerve can become inflamed and rupture. If that happens, Nick's life is in danger. He could have died.”

Mina was only able to fall silent at Diah's explanation. The woman immediately remembered her daughter. After the loss of a child, the husband has lost his memory. Her tears did not seem to flow considering the tragic fate of her son.

“Nick... currently can not meet with Iza. I'm afraid if they meet, Nick will force himself to remember. I don't want to risk Nick's life at stake. I know this might seem cruel to you, but let's just say Nick is dead. There's no guarantee his memory will return. So, it was better for them to split up for now. We leave everything to destiny. If they are still in a match, they will definitely be together again no matter how.”

No response from Mina. The woman still faithfully shut her mouth. His mind continues to fight between following or opposing Diah's decision. Seeing that there was still no response from Mina, Diah grabbed Mina's hand.

“Mina. But please, don't tell her anything about Nick.”

“Let me meet Nick. I will give my decision after meeting him.”

Diah nodded her head. He stood up and took Mina back into the elevator, his finger twitching the button that showed the number 12. Slowly the moving iron box carried them up.

The floor of the place where the VIP room was located was seemingly deserted. Not just anyone can enter this floor. Mina continued to follow Diah's steps towards the room located at the end.

The arrival of Mina of course surprised Arnav who was talking to Bryan. He rubbed his nape, trying to cover up his nervousness. The man felt uneasy to have ignored the woman's call several times. Diah continues to bring Mina into the ward. Nick is having a casual conversation with Abe.

“Nick..” call Diah.

Nick looked up as soon as he heard his name called. But a second later his eyes were directed at Mina. The woman's heart melts when Nick sees her like a stranger. Aware of Nick's gaze directed at Mina, Diah hurriedly introduced her.

“This is mommy's friend. We met in the lobby. Hearing you get sick, he wants to see you.”

“How are you doing?”

“Alhamdulillah good. Have we met before?”

“If you hear stories about you already often but if you meet, this is the first time.”

Mina suppressed her feelings strongly. A sense of tightness instantly ambushed him when he imagined Iza who was in his current position. Nick continued to look at Mina's face, he felt familiar with the face of the woman in front of him. Unknowingly, the man tried to remember, where he had met Mina.

“Aaarrgghh.”

Diah, Abe too Mina was startled by Nick's moaning voice. The man groaned in pain while holding his head. Abe quickly pressed the bell to call the nurse. Diah approached Nick and hugged him. Nick continued to groan in pain as if thousands of needles had hit his head.

A nurse came to check on Nick. Because the man did not stop groaning in pain, the nurse was forced to give painkiller injections. Slowly but surely, the pain in his head reduced along with his heavy eyes. Diah lays Nick's head on the pillow.

Mina almost lost her balance when she decided to leave Nick's treatment room. She was quite shocked to see Nick's situation just now. The woman leaned against the wall behind her. Seeing Mina who was not in the room, Diah rushed to catch up with her.

“How's Nick?”

“She's calmed down now.”

“Sgratitude.”

“You saw for yourself how Nick is doing. If it continued like that, he could have lost his life.”

Diah covered her mouth with her hands. Several times the woman took a deep breath to calm herself down. Mina closed her eyes, this was also a hard thing for her. He could only pray that this decision was right. He was sure that God would not give a test beyond the limits of His people's ability. If the child is given this test, he believes Iza is able to pass it.

Slowly Mina opened her eyes. He saw that Diah was still waiting for an answer from him with a face full of hope. Mina took a deep breath while saying basmallah in her heart.

“I will follow your wishes. Let's leave it all to fate. If they were still a match, they would definitely be together again.”

“Thank you, Mina. Thank you.”

Diah tightly grasped this iron hand. Tears came out of both eyes unstoppable. He knew, this was also a tough decision for Mina. He could only pray, they could all go through all these trials well. And continue to think well with the destiny that has been outlined by God.

Iza's voice called out to her as soon as she returned to the hospital where her son was being treated. Iza stuck out her hands, trying to find her mother. Mina approached and grabbed Iza's hand.

“Ummi from where? Did ummi see Nick? How is ummi? Is he conscious?”

Not the answer Iza heard, but the sobs that came out of the mother's mouth. Not only Iza, Ridho was quite confused to see his mother's reaction. Rahardi lowered his head deeply. Seeing his wife crying, he was sure Nick was dead.

“Ummi..”.

“Yang patient darling. Nick.. he's gone.”

Iza was struck by lightning when she heard the news of her husband's death. There was no reaction from him. The woman was silent as a statue. His eyes were staring blankly towards the front. A second later his body fell down.
