CHAPTER 29. Day 4: When Do We Run?

Today is already the fourth day of their Fourteen Days divorce deal that Jia and Gao have to live up to.

Gao himself who had been discharged from the hospital still had to feel pain which was caused by a wrong diagnosis and Andre who injected special fluids to Gao, on orders from Gilbert.

Gao is now sitting in the living room of his house, lonely, alone while preparing to release the whole thing, he really must divorce Jia, because Jia deserves to be happy.

There was actually a family event at Jia's parents' residence, but Gao was unable to attend due to his health condition, and that was when Andro was present melted Gao's daydreams.

Lately Gao is very fond of being alone but sometimes he misses his daughter, he is still very sure if the disease Multiplex Chlorosis that he suffered will burden his wife and child later.

While Gao was sitting pensively, the sound of knocking on the door made Gao stand up, the bloody Chinese man stood up and walked towards the door to open the door.

"Andro?"

Gao already knew that Andro was a cousin of Jia, so he was not like the last day with Andro.

"Today at the family home there is an event, why did Jia come alone? Why don't you come along" asked Andro, entering the house and sitting on the sofa.

Gao shook his head, he walked towards the kitchen opposite directly to the living room so that he could still meet Andro.

"If you want to separate the distance from my wife, all the things about our closeness must be eliminated" Gao replied pressing the button of his coffee maker.

Andro sighed for a moment, he glanced at the examination paper from Gao, he knew it was fake but he should not reveal it now.

"After you get divorced, Jia says she's going abroad to bring Alea, will you be able?"

Gao looked down, his heart was broken, he was still trying hard in front of Andro. "I don't really care, let it go."

"If there is another man who captivates her? How," asked Andro in response to Gao's statement.

Gao did not reply, he smiled and let out a long sigh, while carrying coffee for Andro. "If there's another man who loves her, it's good."

"You're lying, Gao," Andro replied, taking the cup and drinking it.

Silence, there was no more conversation between the two of them, before Andro finally opened his voice.

"Change your clothes, we go to the show now" Andro said, making Gao shake his head. "You will be separated, but at least act like a husband until that day comes."

Gao sighed, he got up and walked to his room to change clothes, it didn't take long after changing clothes, Andro and Gao then set off for a family event held at Jia's parents' residence.

Gao shook his head, at first Gao who wanted to be cold could not do that, Jia's sincerity could not be rejected.

Gao walked sitting on a chair accompanied by Jia, Jia stared at Gao at a glance which made Gao throw a face.

"Some ten days, brother, what's the condition?"

"As you can see, I'm fine" Gao replied trying not to care.

"If I want us not to get divorced how?" jia asked which made Gao glare.

Gao let out a long sigh then bowed his body to Jia. "Listen well Jia, I don't love you more, than you tormented on, you better accept the fact that we have to separate."

Jia was speechless, while Gao, he felt very guilty in his heart for saying that.

"Until when do we keep this up, brother?"

"Until we part, Jia, don't expect anything else" Gao replied.

Jia smiled, she looked at Gao with a stern look. "Alright if that's Gao's decision."

Jia walked towards the kitchen behind her family residence more precisely on the toilet, she stared at her own face in the mirror of the sink.

"What about your condition later and how about our prospective child," Inner Jia issued a testpack with two blue lines.
