Chapter 16 About Gordhi

Rennia had now reached her home, Daddy and her brother greeted her with warm hugs.

Ronald, Daddy Rennia looked at Rennia's entire body, indeed there were no injuries just Rennia's face slightly bruised.

Ronald tells Vitra to take some ice and cloth to compress Rennia's messy face.

"I'm sorry Daddy dear." Ronald said softly while rubbing Rennia's cheek that looks bruised.

They were not satisfied because their family's illegal business was given to Ronald when Ronald had been given their large family holding company.

His grandfather preferred Ronald to lead their family tradition company. Before his grandfather died they were still in a good relationship but after Grandpa died their brotherhood split and copyh took their rights.

Rennia was a little surprised to hear Daddy's explanation, because all this time he never knew about his Daddy family except his late mommy's family.

But why would they be able to abuse Rennia when she was still their niece.

"What kidnapped you was Gordhi, Daddy wants to kill you someday." Ronald was honest.

Rennia was stunned to hear Ronald's words.

Raven returned to her house at 12pm, she tried to make a call to Rennia's number but Rennia did not pick it up. He thought maybe Rennia was sapped and had gone to sleep. Raven sent a message.

Early in the morning, Rennia who had fallen asleep last night had now woken up and rubbed her eyes. He went to the bathroom and washed his face. Today he will be absent from college again because the bruises on his face are still left.

Without seeing who the caller was Raven answered the phone call.

Raven opened her eyes and looked at the screen of her phone.

[Rav, am I bothering you?]

[Sorry Ren, no you're not bothering hehe.]

[Ehm, sorry also last night I went to bed early probably because of the soy sauce.]

The phone call lasted about an hour, many things Rennia discussed with Raven as well as their dating plans.
