Chapter 9 Compress Matters

Rennia's heart suddenly beat violently after Raven stuck the cloth containing ice on her right cheek. She squeezed the dress she wore so strongly that her nervousness could not be seen by Raven.

The first time he touched Rennia's cheeks were soft and smooth white, only he had to compress using ice wrapped in cloth.

Raven blew slowly on Rennia's cheek which looked very flushed due to the slap from Azel earlier. Actually Raven really wanted to hit it all over but Rennia stopped him.

The look in my eyes was full of sincerity and there was a hint of anger very visible when Rennia looked at Raven.

Rennia broke the silence and awkwardness she felt.

"Rav, let me compress myself." Said Rennia who was trying to grab the cloth Raven was holding.

Raven gave him a quick glance then said. "Shut up. Let me compress it." Raven's voice sounded very flat but showed an attitude of concern.

The waiters brought the food and drink that Raven had ordered earlier and arranged on the table. The waiters of the cafe became disturbed by the boss of their cafe owner because never before had his boss brought women into the room especially in front of his eyes now his boss is very painstaking compressing the cheeks of the woman.

"It's lucky." Murmured one of the servants who arranged the food on the table.

After all the food was ready to be arranged, the butler came forward and said.

"Everything is ready, sir, are there any more additions?"

Raven stopped her hand from compressing Rennia's cheek. He looked towards the food on the table then turned his gaze to Rennia and asked.

"Is there anything you want?"

Rennia from earlier had swallowed her saliva to see such a lot of fancy food when they were just the two of them. And now that Raven asked her if there was anything she wanted, Rennia so daydreamed looking at Raven's face. So that Raven called Rennia several times, her daydreams were now foaming.

"Ah, sorry. Nothing, everything's already here." Tukas Rennia while pointing towards the food that was in front of him.

"Relatedly? Maybe you want to add something or it's not your favorite." Said Raven again.

"Rav, I'm not a picky eater. And this is a lot of time to add more. Don't waste it." Rennia Timpal.

Raven nodded then told the butler that she would call him back if he really was in need. The maids came out with faint smiles on their faces as this was the first time they heard their Boss speak a little long and not in a tense tone.

After the servants' departure, Raven told Rennia to eat and she kept compressing Rennia's cheeks.

"This is Rav's first meal, otherwise who would want to eat this much?" Rennia said while holding Ravem's wrist so as not to continue the matter of compressing his cheek.

"But this red mark will be long gone if not in the compress Rennia, have you eaten let me make it." His rebuff then released his hand from Rennia's grasp.

Raven's words were so deep in meaning and again made Rennia stunned with herself. But quickly he eliminated the feeling that began to disturb his heart.

"At least eat Rav first, I can't afford to spend it all." Rennia Sahut. "And you don't have to be mad at yourself, it's not your fault, but I thank you, Rav, you saved me from that." Rennia again.

Raven shook her head then took Rennia's right hand and grasped it.

"I'm your boyfriend so don't thank me. Never mind, I have the solution. We'll just eat." Bright Raven.

Rennia felt warm in her heart listening to Raven's words, even though their agreement would only be dating for 3 months but somehow Raven treated her like a 3-month agreement did not exist at all.

Rennia became a little confused coupled with Raven's treatment of her. But he chose to be quiet, one day he would ask if his heart was already unable to store this confused feeling.

The sound of a scoop indicates they are enjoying the food that has been served. But Rennia did not feel good for Raven, as Raven's left hand kept compressing her cheek and her right hand fed her mouth.

"Any afternoon class or what?" Raven then looked at Rennia's red cheeks that had started to disappear, Raven felt relieved. Not in vain his efforts.

"Nothing, I just remembered this morning I brought a car to campus." Clearly Rennia was still feeling a little afraid of Raven.

Raven looked at Rennia who started to lower her face. In the lift of Rennia's chin and then face Rennia to him.

Rennia's last words made Raven's heart feel palpitating and warmed up. He felt guilty about Rennia for thinking nothing of Rennia.

Although it was Rennia who said to stop talking about Azel, but now she

still continuing the story about Azel because he did not want to keep his own sadness anymore, he wanted to let go of everything so that he felt unburdened by his thoughts.

Raven was only a listener and did not interrupt at all, she was happy that Rennia was willing to share with her.
